I referenced this vid on youtube, which was an excerpt from something called Dancing Through Time. In my brief and poorly-educated searches on baroque dance, I came across two different ideas about what it was - a much simpler and less touchy-feely dance, and the one I linked above, which appears to be the 18th century version of grinding on the dance floor swing and actually looks like a lot of fun.

Ok but hear me out Libertys Kids fandom;

A book series that rewrites the show to be as historically accurate as possible while diving further into the personal lives of Moses, James, Sarah, and Henri. And oh yeah, it ain’t for kids because the history they’re taught is hella sugarcoated.

If PBS gives me the all clear, I would absolutely write the shit out of this. Count on there being four books, more if I decide to continue the series beyond the Revolution.

Libertys Kids headcanon no one asked for but it’s modern.

Sarah and James are the on the couch in Philadelphia and they heard of broadway and they hear about 1776! So they go see it and they bring Moses just because. Moses doesn’t like John Rutledge (Gov of South Carolina and he sings Molasses to Rum) because of the song and the views of him. They all love the portrayal of Ben Franklin of course and cheer every time he’s on stage. James really loves everything about John Addams, Thomas Jefferson and Richard Henry Lee in the show. They all laugh at But Mr. Addams (a song in the show) and sit down John. Sarah is reminded of her times in Boston when she hears Abigail and John Addams sing together. Henri really falls in love with the two main actress portraying Martha and Abigail because he’s a horny teen during this. But they have a overall fantastic response to the show and love it!!!!

But that’s my modern day headcanon for Libertys Kids thanks for coming to my Ted talk!
