My best friend got married yesterday and her reception was gorgeous! So happy for her and her new husband! Welcome to the married club 🎉 💗 Her wedding gave me all the feels and emotional pregnant me just had to snap a few photos with Stephen and dance together during the slow songs 😊 Having a permanent wedding date is so fabulous! 💗 Something I loved learning from the ceremony is that marriage is not a surrender, it’s an alliance! 😂 (taught by elder Oaks) 💗 I also loved that he said the music of marriage is not played in unison but in harmony, that we should use our differences to make a beautiful harmony in our marriage 😊 I’m tearing up now as I think about it! 💗 Anyone else ever go to a wedding and get all the feels?? We are going a little light fixture crazy! This is the new fixture above our dining table 💕 The old one hung too low and hit people in the heads so we upgraded to this stunner 💕 We also replaced fixtures in bedrooms and the basement AND the second bath! We were on a roll! 💕 All of our projects are coming to a close and soon we will be on to furniture hunting and decorating, my favorite part! Anyone else love herringbone as much as I do?? 💕 It turns out herringbone was used a lot in Italy! I call em like I see em 😂 Visiting the colosseum was spectacular. Such a large and powerful structure built so long ago. There is so much to learn about this amazing building!
