It’s an old tradition that during a leap year women could propose to men. This was usually depicted as old or ugly women trapping men, but some art focused more on the role reversal and could be quite cute.

I have a soft spot in my heart for the last one because it plays on the idea of “undesirable” people, a tall masculine woman and a shy effeminate man, finding each other but instead of mocking them depicts it as sweet that she could finally ask him because he was too shy and insecure to ask her.

My degrees of Feminism

1) Stranger - Women bare bad drivers!

Me - 😐

2) Friend - Women are bad drivers.

Me - Well I am a good driver and so are many of my friends, it's wrong to generalize based of stereo types.

3) Inner Circle - Women are bad drivers.

Me - Fact ; there have been more men driving and causing accidents for centuries due to careless driving, and just because the women in the car in front of you is driving slow doesn't mean she is a bad driver, she is being careful and following the rules. If you choose not to belive that, it's up to you.

4) Family/best friend/ boyfriend - Women are bad drivers.

Me - 😦😮😯😲😳🤯😤😠😠😠😠😠 How can you say such a thing!!! Ehat do you mean by women are bad drivers? What about those entitled men, who think this road is theirs and do whatever they want? What about all those stupid boys who drive like they have nine lives, speeding and cutting dangerously right in front of your car? There are just good and bad drivers gender has nothing to do with it. There is nothing tough about driving, it's no Home Science !!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

In real life there are no villains.

In real life people who hurt you aren't bad or evil people. In real life people who hurt you are not alien to you. In real life you get hurt the most by the people you love. In real life people who break your trust might not do so because they are greedy or mean. In real life you might understand their reasons for hurting you, you might do the same if situations were reversed. But understanding doesn't mean it would hurt less. They are not alien so it hurts more. They are good people so you feel more helpless. Real life is more complicated that's why I prefer fiction.
