“However men try to reach me, I return their love with my love; whatever path they may travel, it leads to me in the end.”

Hey guys.
It's around 5:18pm EST where I live. I hope you all have a great evening!
I'll be dining with my lovely girlfriend in a bit, followed by some Dexter season 6.
Namaste!

If you choose to numb yourself to the idea of reality, sure. However many religious practicing people are in tune with science and reality as well.
religion is a beautiful way to numb yourself to the idea of reality
I might just decide to take up one of these religions.
also I’ll be taking a world religions course over the summer, just like the one I took in high school and they won’t accept my credits for it but oh well
I am excite.

Hi. I was wondering when did you start this whole thing? I don't really know what to call it.. Like.. Practicing Hinduism? I do as well. Did your friends or family understand?
I started really looking Hinduism awhile ago. As far as actually practicing it, I've only been doing that for about 3-4 weeks. I'm still very new to that aspect. Unfortunately, when I did try and tell my friends (casually) about what I finally found in life that made me happy in finding God and myself some almost laughed. While others, who I consider my real friends respect it. My family, being Catholic didn't really understand. They challenged me about it, and even if they don't believe what I believe they also respect it, which is great. The only people in my life who called me wrong for my beliefs and didn't respect my religious views were very devote Catholics and Christians. With them now, religious discussion does not come into conversation anymore. It seems they'd rather disrespect my beliefs than really talk about it at all.

If you have a Facebook you should consider joining a group called "Awareness of Cultural Abuse" it's basically about people with misconceptions of religions (especially Hinduism) those who think it's "trendy" and use symbols and the gods as a fashion statement and without knowing anything about it. Just trying to spread the word :]
Yes, I have a facebook actually... I will definitely look into that. Observing and respecting religious differences is very important. Thanks!
