The team from Alpha Academy. They were the lowest ranking team in the current match. None of the members have made moves to attack or harm any of the other tributes.

Until... Kim Mingyu was eliminated.

The members are raging.

Especially Choi Seungcheol. Their leader. He had heard how Mingyu begged the attacker to spare his life through the mind link that he shared with all his members. He felt the panic and fear that Mingyu had felt in the moment. Only one thought was present in the leader's mind. He knew he needed to get rid of every single one who's a threat to him, and could possibly be a hurdle towards him and his team's victory. And so he thought...

He would set hell loose.

While the leader was tracking the attacker responsible for Mingyu's death, one of his members, Wonwoo; was lost in the forest. He wandered around trying to locate the rest of his members. And in the middle of the forest, uniform dirty and soaked in blood, Wonwoo was met with the Celestial Academy's leader.

Yoon Jeonghan.

The leader's breath hitched, lowering the body of his fallen teammate onto the ground as he took in the sight right in front of him.

"Is it really you?" The leader's voice was almost inaudible, but the trickster heard it clearly. Wonwoo chuckled, tears forming in his eyes as he looked straight into the eyes of the man he once loved, well... The man he still loves with all his heart. "Out of all places here on earth. We meet here once again." the trickster says, holding back a sob. "Mhm. Tragic isn't it?" Jeonghan sighs.

The two males slowly walked towards each other, stopping when they were inches apart. Wonwoo was the first to budge. He pulled the leader in by the waist and connected his lips with his, pouring out his emotions through the kiss as Jeonghan stayed motionless, but the trickster was too desperate to care. He pulled Jeonghan towards him tighter, clutching on his waist desperately. It was only when Jeonghan pushed him away that he stopped. "I love you." The trickster whispered.

"I used to love you."

In the midst of everything else, the Alpha team's leader has finally found the attacker responsible for Mingyu's death. He had him on his knees. The same position Mingyu was in when Minghao killed him. "You killed him." Seungcheol's low and dark voice sent shivers through the attacker's body but he chose to ignore it. "It was either him or me. He was still a threat."

"A threat? When he was on his knees begging you to spare his life?! What kind of threat he is?!?" The leader yelled at Minghao. He was taken aback from Seungcheol's powerful voice as he started to accept his fate.

The cause of the sudden shift of the leader's personality is unknown. But one thing is certain. He is not the leader anyone knew him to be. He has broken from his façade of being the perfect leader. He has now shown the real side of him. He snapped.

The leader looked Minghao in the eye, easily infiltrating the attacker's mind. "You will die the same way you killed him. Poison yourself. I want you to intake your poison until you die." Seungcheol commanded, and the attacker was not able to resist. With pained eyes he looked at the man in front of him as he shoved his fingers into his mouth, releasing the poison into his system. He choked on his fingers and his irises started to turn into a toxic shade of green, a sign that the poison was killing him from the inside. Minghao let out a choked gasp that was also his last breath.

A canon.

"An attacker has been eliminated."

Seungcheol let out a satisfied hum before breaking into a fit of laughter, walking away from the deceased tribute.

Wonwoo's heart broke from the sentence that left the leader's lips.

He knew he made a mistake in the past.

They both did.

Typical mistakes that two young people in love make.

He didn't expect it to tear them apart like that.

"Jeonghan... Please. I know we made mistakes long ago. But I need you. Please." The trickster begged. "Can you hear yourself right now? We're in a match where the both of us can't survive from. Why are you wasting time on telling me this?"

"Because... Because... I want you to love me even if it's just for the remaining time we have together. Please? Jeonghan please."

"I do love you Wonwoo. I really do. I love you and care for you. But the love I have for you isn't the same as the love I had for you back then. Times have changed. I've moved on. I've found someone else to love."

The trickster felt a pang in his chest, "Y-you have? I- I'm sorry I didn't know." Wonwoo looked down and wiped his tears away, "Let's just pretend I didn't say that okay?"

The leader hesitated but nodded nonetheless. "Mhm we can do that."

In the middle of Seungcheol's raging laughter, he was found by his teams healer, Vernon. "Hyung! I'm glad I found you! Are you okay? Did you hit your head? Do you need any healing?" The healer asks worriedly.

Seungcheol shook his head. "No. But what I need is revenge."

"Revenge on who?"

The leader clicked his tongue as he recalled the link he had with Wonwoo earlier. "Yoon Jeonghan. That bastard has got our trickster head over heels over him. He got Wonwoo to stay with him. Wonwoo betrayed us."

Vernon raised his brows, "Wonwoo hyung? Betray us? That's very unlikely-" The leader cut him off, "Wonwoo's in love with Jeonghan."

The healer gasped, "He is?" Seungcheol nodded, "Yes he is. Now shut up and help me find that bastards remaining members."

The pair travelled the arena, til they heard a voice nearby.

"Oregano! Finally! This is just what I needed for Jihoon's cough."

Seungcheol infiltrated the tribute's mind discreetly, exploring his thoughts and finding out that he was the healer of Jeonghan's team. Hong Jisoo.

With no experience with actual combat, he was easily captured.

And he too begged for his life.

"Please Mr. Leader- Spare me. I can do anything you want! I can heal you and your teammates as much as you want! I promise! Please don't kill me! I don't want to die!" Joshua begged as he sobbed.

"Heal me? I have my own healer." The leader chuckled. "I need to do this. Well actually I don't, but I want to." And with that he took control of Joshua's mind, making him grab a sharp object and stab himself multiple times until he exhaled his last breath.

Vernon was starting to question his leader's actions, "Why would you do that hyung? He held no threat against us. He was pure and innocent. He didn't deserve that. Why?" Seungcheol rolled his eyes and chuckled.

"So? I just wanted to destroy something beautiful."

Vernon was about to answer back, "Don't even try to talk. Now pick up the body. We have a traitor to visit. Unless you want to die as well, then you're welcome to not follow my orders." The healer gulped and did as he was told, bringing Joshua's body with them as until they ended up face to face with The leader and the trickster.

"Well if it isn't the bastard and the traitor. Guess what? I have a surprise for the both of you!" Seungcheol chuckled as he grabbed Joshua's body, throwing it in front of the pair.

Jeonghan held his breath.

No no no no no. It couldn't be.

But it was.

"YOU FUCKING BASTARD I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Jeonghan yelled at the top of his lungs, smoke immediately escaping from the tips of his fingers. But the other leader was quick to think, invading the mind of Wonwoo and having him walk over to the ledge of a body of water. "Ah ah ah~ One wrong move and I'll have him drown himself."

"Hyung! That's our teammate!" Vernon yelled in protest. "So what?"

"You're disgusting. Putting your own teammate's life on the line for your own gain." Jeonghan spat and retracted the smoke.

"Ahh I know~" Seungcheol answered as Jeonghan was able to stop the other's ability for a split second. The other team's leader smirked.

"I told you, one wrong move and he'll die. You just really had to do it didn't you?"

Splash.

Wonwoo jumped into the water, drowning himself. Jeonghan ran and jumped into the water to save the drowning trickster. But he was too late. He dragged the body to the shore, looking at Vernon with pleading eyes.

"Try to revive him and you'll die too." Seungcheol threatens.

Jeonghan was shaking, his irises changed to a combination of black and red.

"Now you just made it possible for me to kill you without holding back."

The real hell was unleashed that moment.
