Since releasing a CD in 2013, I’ve been making music with my band Elections, mainly focusing on original songs. My journey with music actually started back in high school with a rock band—and even after a 30-year break, it’s remained a lifelong passion.

’70s American music is still my go-to. We often cover those timeless tunes in the band, reliving the sounds of our youth together. Music, to me, is more than just entertainment—it captures the spirit of the times and connects people across generations.

I’ll keep playing with my amazing bandmates, hoping to spread a little joy and positive energy in the community through music!

我が家の2匹はお風呂が大好きです。

琴勇輝関が荒磯親方として新たな一歩を踏み出し、本日「荒磯勇輝後援会」が発足しました。現役時代、琴勇輝関を支えてきた琴輝後援会の会長として、心からお祝い申し上げます。琴勇輝関は、土俵の上で力強い突き押し相撲を貫き、多くのファンを魅了しました。左膝の大怪我を乗り越えて関脇まで登り詰めたその姿は、郷土・香川の誇りであり、私たちに勇気と感動を与えてくれました。

今後は親方として、相撲界の発展に尽力されることと思いますが、同時に地元・香川をさらに盛り上げる存在としても大いに期待しています。琴勇輝関の勝ち負けに一喜一憂し、媒酌人をつとめ、断髪式にハサミを入れたこともありがたい思い出です。荒磯親方の新たな挑戦が実り多きものとなるよう、ますますのご活躍をお祈り申し上げます。
