Only after their relationship had taken the turn for friendly did Mondo realize that he and Ishimaru were far more alike than either wanted to believe. In a way, they couldn't have been more different, but those differences were also what made them so similar. Everything they did, they did with passion. With Kiyotaka it was enforcing rules and with Mondo is was leading his gang. While the activities they partook in could only be seen as opposites they were what made them who they were. Those roles shaped them into what was labeled. However, it wasn't that which enamored Mondo. It was that despite those labels they still had a way to be something different. Mondo wasn't always a no good delinquent and Ishimaru didn't always follow the rules. The scarf (and their current positions) spoke volumes of that. How wrong they had been about each other in the beginning.
Tumblr media
"What the fuck do ya' expect.." He deadpanned, eyebrows knitting together in slight annoyance despite the slight stutter of his heart. He cursed himself for appearing so needy, but it wasn't like he did it on purpose. It couldn't just be him right? Kiyotaka must be feeling the same desperation as him? Neither had ever been this close to someone before as far as Mondo knew. It was a new experience for them both, and if Ishimaru felt anything like Mondo did then it must have been mutual. Still, the biker couldn't bring himself to be shocked by the hall monitor's never-ending urge to scold him. Only Ishimaru could continue to act all prim and proper at a time like this. Only he could keep his head while Mondo was currently ignoring everything his told him.
Well fine, if Kiyotaka wanted to nag then Mondo would give him something to nag about. The thought of what was to come for him later made Mondo grin in anticipation. Conveniently, he'd leave out the fact that maybe sometimes, Mondo did what he did on purpose if only to get a rise out of the other male. Using his hips as a distraction, the gang leader's pristine canines latched onto the flesh of the disciplinarian's neck, successfully marring the area in a mess of blues and reds. He was sure to get hell for that later, but it was oh so worth it. Not only was it pleasing to look at, but it was enough of a warning to those he strayed to close to what was and always should be; his. Sadly, those actions could only occupy him for so long before he grew impatient once again. Their rutting, while physically stimulating, wasn't enough for him. His body craved something more personal. More intimate. On instinct, Mondo's index finger hooked on the hem of Kiyotaka's pants, tugging at them in a silent plea for permission.

Mondo hated the cold. He always had, actually. Ever since he was young and his parents stopped coming home everyday and then all together. Even when he'd fallen to his knees and cradled his older brother's lifeless body in his hands and screamed and especially when he'd been all alone, living in a house where he could not even afford heat. All those times, he'd despised the frigid weather and even more so, the snow. If anything, it was just a nuisance. He couldn't ride his bike out in the snow nor would he ever think about risking it on the ice. It was an inconvenience, he liked it hot. In the summer where he could spend all day working on Kawasaki or riding in the open air with the sun beating down on his tan shoulders, that's where he'd rather be now. Not this hideously bleak mountain side in the middle of fucking nothing. "This is bullshit..." The biker cursed to himself, glaring at his visible breath as if willing it to dissipate faster. His hands were numb as was his rosy nose and cheeks. The tips of his ears burned. He should have worn a scarf and gloves like Kiyotaka had advised. Well, too late now.
Having thrown caution to the wind, Mondo stomped through the snow, mumbling profanities to himself. He should have just stayed back at his freezing ass cabin. It would have been better in comparison to what he was in now. He was losing all feeling in his feet now and wondered what the signs were for hypothermia. Pausing mid-step, the gang leader felt himself so stiff. He noted the sound of crunching footfalls and stopped breathing. He grit his teeth in rage. Was someone really trying to fucking kill him right now? Had they really followed him all the way out here to off him while he was in such a foul mood. "That's not a good idea fucker..." He spoke loud enough to be heard over the roaring wind, chuckling angrily to himself. "Ya' may wanna turn the fuck aorund now before I bash yer brains in and leave ya' ta' freeze."
To his annoyance, the steps did not stop. They didn't even falter. There was no fear to be held, but it didn't matter. Whoever dared to mess with him was going to regret it. He wasn't about to be looked down upon, nor would he go down easy. Pulling his shoulders back, he set a furious look upon his face and tried to look intimidating, but it was hard to do that when he couldn't even turn around without slipping and falling on his ass like a fool. "God-fucking-DAMMIT!" Feeling his rear go damp within seconds, he let out a cry of frustration and flipped the sky off. It was only in those last few moments that he remembered he had company. Maybe he could pretend his little tumble had been intentional? Keeping himself seated in what felt like a foot of snow, he clicked his tongue and trained his gaze to his shadow. "Who the fuck 'er you? Why the shit are ya' followin' me?"

***damn Snow ♠ Castiel and Mondo
Crisp white snow crunched beneath Castiel’s feet as he looked around at his new home. Everything was white and plain to the horizon where the mountains rose up seeming to reach for the heavens. Heaven. The Angel recalled shortly after that he had been looking for Raphael and his Angels down here. It seemed however, that it had been a trap, and Castiel had fallen right into it. He was weakened, and couldn’t leave. In the distance, he saw a lone figure, and pulled out his gleaming angel blade. He was not yet sure if it was an angel or an inhabitant of this frigid land, but he had to be prepared. While he walked, it became colder and colder, and snowflakes flurried thickly from the sky above. Castiel could feel the cold, and he was shivering. It bit him, this cold and he grew more and more anxious as he neared the figure ahead of him.
Castiel was worried what could be happening in Heaven. Was Raphael already there, wreaking havoc on Castiel’s soldiers? His Angels were without a leader, and everyone had seen what happened when the leader, Michael left. The Angels needed a leader, and in times of war without one, they would all be lost. Raphael would sure trounce his forces if Castiel did not return to Heaven soon. He needed a way out of this place first however.
But now, Castiel was nearing the figure before him. When he was only a few feet away, he faced the possible advesary and demanded an identificaion in a gruff voice. “Are you one of Raphael’s?” Castiel could only see the outline of the figure in the horrendous blizzard. The angel blade was poised to strike in Castiel’s hand, and he waited for the moment of truth with anticipation.

"Ya' weren't exactly the nicest fuckin' guy the first time we met." Mondo's reply was bland, his lips pulled into a thin line. "And ya' ain't no saint. What do ya' expect me ta' believe?" It had become apparent long ago that Ishida felt no remorse in exploiting Mondo's weaknesses and fears. He'd done it already, and the biker had no doubt in his kind that he could and would do it again. Still, the albino wasn't quite as hostile as he'd been the first time they'd interacted. Instead of insults and threats it was words of adoration and praise. The other seemed almsot...happy that Mondo was there with him. More like ecstatic that the delinquent was even bothering to talk to him. "Stop fuckin' with my head ya' bastard." He couldn't bring himself to yell this time, instead only managing a low groan as his hands came up to massage over his temples. He was exhausted both mentally and physically. "Damn...talkin' ta' you really takes a lot outta me..." Though, something told Mondo that wasn't why he was so tired. A little voice in his sub-conscious urged him to open his eyes and face reality, but the rational (well, as close to rational as someone like him could get) part of his brain told him to shut up and accept things as they were. No need to press any questions or he might not like the answers he gets.
"Everythin' you've done? That better be a fuckin' joke you piece 'a shit. And if it is, I ain't laughin'." Barring his teeth, Mondo went for intimidation as his approach, his face nearing dangerously close to Ishida's. "The only thing ya've done fer me is give me fuckin' grief and screw me over. I wouldn't exactly call that shinin' generosity." Releasing a swift, labored breath, Mondo tried to ease the rage from his bottom before he popped one of the veins bulging from his forehead. That, or break Ishida's neck. Just as he'd begun to calm, the alter ego of his beloved felt it right to test Mondo's patience once again. The gang leader flinched at the feeling of cold hands on his (in)compatibly warm cheeks, his body fighting to keep still. They'd both seemed to realize that they weren't getting anywhere with their useless bickering, but still, conflicting personalities would always seem to clash regardless of their best efforts. A growl ripped form the back of his throat, his voice coming out low and dangerous. "Let go of me." While he could have easily town those fingers away from his skin, the familiar touch was too inviting. It got hard to remember that right now, it wasn't Kiyotaka he was talking to. It felt wrong, taboo even, to let himself be soothed by those cold fingers he loved when it was paired with the cruel face of a man he hated. He just couldn't bring himself to willingly pull back.
Still, even without control of his body he had full control of his facial expressions, paying no expense in showing Ishida just how much he despised him. If looks could kill, Mondo was sure the other would long be dead. "Ya' keep sayin' that, but ya' ain't givin' me much of an explanation yet. If ya' keep stallin' fer time I really will toss ya' across the fuckin' room." Once again, that rational part of himself one and he obediently shut himself up again. His need for answers outweighed his hatred. For now. His gaze bore holes into a pale skull while Ishida seemed to eagerly break the news to Mondo. Said victim blanched, suddenly feeling sick. His stomach lurched and his fury washed away to confusion. Disbelief? He didn't know what to think. How was he supposed to react to the knowledge that he'd been killed. That he was stamped, a dead man walking. "Yer...yer fuckin' serious? If yer bullshittin' me Ishida I swear ta' fuckin' God I'll-"
"Would you like me to reveal their name? All you have to do is tell me what you want to hear and I’ll say it."
He hesitated. What would he do with that name once he got it? Kill the person who'd murdered him? Ask them why? He held no plan or idea, but still, he couldn't just walk out of here without it. "Tell me," A single pause and then somehting occured to him, "A tell me when it fuckin' happened." That same voice in the back of his head told him there was more to this than what first appeared. Knowing the situation and the circumstances of his death could be valuable. Finding out why would make bashing his murderer's skull in that much better.

Welcome Back * Ishida|Kiyotaka & Mondo
Ishida scoffed, a look of disbelief crossing his face as though Mondo had actually slapped him. “How could you ever assume I would do such a thing to you, Kyoudai?” Their first encounter hadn’t been pleasant, far from it actually. But, he could hardly have helped the way he teased the other that first time. When he was running free as if he’d been here this whole time, it was almost impossible for him to not have wanted to see that look of shock on Mondo’s face at least once. Ishida may have been sweet on him, all others falling far behind in his opinion, but his personality was one to be reckoned with no matter who it was he spoke to. “A nightmare…is that what you really see me as? After everything I’ve done for you, I thought maybe we could become closer.” His lips curled back into a smile, all teeth and ferocity. Maybe he really should have been nicer to Mondo when they met, then he might not be so averse to his very presence.
Tumblr media
He had no memory of the event which took his life, of course. The look of utter confusion on his face doing nothing but allowing the albino to revel in such a fact that much more. He knew all too well what happened and he would gladly divulge such information should he ever actually be allowed to speak of course. Before the former hall monitor even opened his mouth he was grabbed by the shoulders and shaken like a rag doll. There was no fear, no panic like Mondo had probably hoped he would see when the delinquent’s wrath was incurred on him. He hummed once that anger subsided for but a moment, the hands merely gripping him now rather than swinging him around wildly. Ishida reached forward, cupping Mondo’s face gently in an effort to soothe him. He too could get feisty, he could lash out just as much as Mondo could, but now was not a time for such things. Not if he wanted to give those answers the biy was seeking from him. "You’ll do what now? I would appreciate it if you would allow me to fucking speak for a second before you throw me all over the goddamn room." Despite the harsh language, he was calm, palms still holding the warm face so full of life once more. "I didn’t do a damn thing to you, I could never bring myself to do something so horrendous to you of all people. As for what happened…" Would it be such a good idea? Maybe not, but if he were to come back from the dead, he was sure he’d want some answers too. "You were killed, very brutally I might add. Don’t fret, we’ve sent that bastard to their death. They should be back soon as well…would you like me to reveal their name? All you have to do is tell me what you want to hear and I’ll say it."

"Funny, for some reason I seem ta' fuckin' doubt that." He replied blandly, distrust in his eyes. He'd been laying there unconscious and vulnerable, how did he know Ishida wouldn't have tried to do something? Whatever 'something' was, he didn't know, but it still made the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. he'd been dead to the world, how did he know that anyone couldn't have tried something? He could have easily been killed sleeping like that. He may have not been the smartest tool in the shed but he didn't think himself to be that stupid! What was he thinking? "Ya' may have to. I could still be asleep. Every time I fuckin' see ya' it's like a nightmare." He could see Ishida plain as day and he was sure if he'd wanted to he could reach out and touch him too. He was real, standing before Mondo as thought it were the most normal thing in the world, but even still Mondo had trouble grasping his existence. It just didn't make any sense logically or realistically that his aniki would have someone- something, like this inside of him.
"Yer not makin' any damn since but it ain't like that's any different than usual. Why the fuck wouldn't I have woken up ya' dumbass? It was just a damn nap." He sighed heavily, running his fingers through the hair on the back of his neck before it slipped towards the front of his throat to rub at the tender flesh. He didn't like what he found. "The- the fuck!?" In surprise, he shot up, standing on his feet now as his fingers ran over the prominent scar that he was sure hadn't been there. While he couldn't see it, he could feel how raised it was, and surely it would stand out agaisnt his darker skin tone. He panicked, wondering just what the fuck had happened while he was sleeping. Instantly, his eyes focused on the white haired demon standing in front of him, anger swimming through his veins. "What the fuck did you do to me!?" he shouted, more like ordered, grabbing Ishida's shoulders roughly to shake him. "What the fuck is on my neck and why you piece of shit!?"
Tumblr media
Ishida had been the only other person in the room with him when he woke up, so it only made since for him to be the culprit. But if that were the case how was he still alive? The scar was on his neck, so if surely would have died if he'd been cut there, right? And there was no way it would have healed this quickly and turned into a scar in such a short time. "Fuck-" No, now wasn't the time to think about such things, Ishida obviously knew something if it wasn't him who'd done it. If he didn't, why would he be here conveniently when Mondo woke up, and how would he have taken over Kiyotaka so easily? "Give me some damn answers Ishida or I swear ta' god I'll-...fuck! I'll do somethin'!" His threats were weak a wobbly just like his body was, and he was becoming a bit desperate. None of this made any damn sense and he felt the desire to just lay down and go back to sleep. Maybe this would all be a dream if he did.
Welcome Back * Ishida|Kiyotaka & Mondo
No sooner had his fingers left the vulnerable flesh bared to him that the witnessed the eyes he’d come to know so well fluttered open. The look on Mondo’s face spoke more volumes than his voice ever could. He was surprised—more than surprised—there was something in his eyes he’d never seen before. Ishida couldn’t quite place it, but he didn’t really have to, did he? It didn’t matter, what did matter was the fact that Mondo was alive and staring him right in the face. The look of disappointment which soon morphed into anger, His voice; the one so normally full of confidence and conviction cracked under its own strain. Well, he hadn’t used it in quite a while, it was no surprise.
Tumblr media
Even as he brought himself to sit up, his anger obviously boiling over the top, Ishida couldn’t bring himself to feel any sort of fear. This was why he was so attached to him, their souls were so similar, their tempers flaring more quickly than anyone else’s. What a laugh it was that he assumed he could actually do something to his other personality, like he could ever be rid of him for good. The albino may have considered himself the better one, but he was still nothing more than second place where this body was concerned. The anger directed towards him did nothing, in fact he was nearly giddy hearing the voice which had been so weak just barely a minute ago gaining strength, his voice rising with every word, bringing out a fiery personality to rival his own. If he could, he would revel in it longer, just stand there and allow Mondo to scream out all his frustrations at him, however right now that was quite impossible. Once he was done, the accusations ceasing long enough for him to get a word in edgewise, he began to speak. “I didn’t do a damn thing to you, Kyoudai. How could I? You were like this when I arrived.” He was telling the truth, there were very few reasons for him to lie right now and Mondo…he wasn’t about to lie to this boy after he’d just returned from his gruesome death. “If you’d calm the hell down for a second, you’d realize he was still perfectly fine. Must I really repeat myself for you so often? I know you’re capable of listening, Kyoudai, I’ve seen you do it plenty of times.” He sighed, glancing to the door as if he worried someone would walk through at any given time. Unlikely, there was no one else in here, no other student who had gotten themselves in more trouble than they could handle. “My appearance is of no importance. I’m just relieved you woke the fuck up.” He spoke those words slowly, almost sounding unsure of himself. How unlike him.

Mondo stopped at those words, clicking his tongue in annoyance. "Look kid, don't be suck a fuckin' downer. If ya' act like that then of course ya' ain't gonna get outta here. Given up on shit and hidden form everythin' ain't gonna get ya' nowhere. be a man!" He wasn't too sure why he'd gotten so angry. Or who he was angry at. Edell, or himself for secretly agreeing with those words? No, he couldn't just give up like that. He was gonna leave this school one day with Kiyotaka and he was gonna tell his gang that he wanted to be something more. he was gonna be a carpenter and go to Ishimaru's kendo matches and make something of his life. And if he was leaving then that meant Edell would too. "Where the hell is yer fightin' spirit?"
He grabbed two plates from a cupboard, setting them down rather loudly. He was surprised they hadn't shattered. "Listen ki- Edell, ya' gotta be stronger than that. None of us wanna fuckin' be here but we are, and if we just fuckin' give up then we're fucked. It may be stupid but we gotta keep up...fuckin' hope." It was a ridiculous word and an equally ridiculous thing to say, but in a situation like this it fit better than it should have. In a school of despair you had to have hope or you were nothing more than a blood stain on the wall. You'd get left behind and succumb to the mastermind's wishes. That was worse than death, in Mondo's opinion. "Plus it ain't like I'm just gonna sit by and let ya' give up anyways. Yer a man like I am so ya' better get yerself together."
What is Making Friends? ♦ Edell and Mondo
Edell scowled at the patty. Cooking sure as hell felt like a chore. He let out a tired sigh. "I’m probably not even going to make it out of here, so there’s no point getting better. I wish you would just go and make your own pancakes."
Overturning the pancake sloppily onto a place, he honestly felt like promptly leaving with the food, but he was surprised to find himself reluctantly, but still, picking up the batter to continue cooking. He was actually quite baffled at himself. He narrowed his eyes in annoyance at himself, and poured a some-what close enough amount of pancake batter onto the pan.

It wasn't like he'd intentionally tried to keep things to himself. Actually, he'd become a lot of things in people's eyes without really trying. A feared leader. An idiot. A cruel, heartless beast who relied on nothing more than his strength to get through life. It was an endless cycle, and he'd often wondered if he'd ever break from it. Mondo had long lost the spark these titles held. He no longer wanted to be just a leader. he wanted to live for himself, and not under the expectations of others. He didn't want to be an idiot, and while school had never been his thing he still wished for some bit of intelligence. Maybe then people would stop seeing him as merely a delinquent and more as a person who worked hard for the things he achieved. He'd come to detest being scary and the idea that he relied solely on his muscle infuriated him. It was nice to have other know full well that you weren't someone to be trifled with, but it'd become a burden at some point more than a blessing. Mondo knew full well what hard work was, and whether others acknowledges it or not, he worked his ass off to get shit done. Though, here was someone that didn't think any of those things, or, not anymore anyways. Here was someone who truly wanted to see Mondo for who he was, and the biker felt it unfair to keep that from him.
Kiyotaka's fingers seared holes in his skin as he flattened his palms against his chest. Mondo hissed through his teeth, shuddering, wondering when it'd gotten so hot in their room. The air was thick and it was becoming difficult to breath, but not only that, his own clothes were becoming a restriction. Never before had he hated the coat on his back so much, nor that annoyingly pristine uniform. He barred his teeth, a low growl rumbling in the back of his throat as he was granted permission yet again. His eyes fluttered closed, expert fingers making use of lost time as they quickly undid the buttons of Ishimaru's uniform. It was only when he reached the last one and began to push it from his shoulders that he caught sight of the white shirt beneath. "Shit...seriously?" He sounded more disappointed than annoyed. His body carried him forward, connecting their lips once again before Mondo made work with the second, and hopefully, last shirt. The two had seen each other naked plenty of times before, but it felt different this time. They'd patted each others bare backs and thrown their arms over nude shoulders, but now there was this burning need to see him in that state again. Only this time it would be in new light.
Tumblr media
He made an effort to ignore the scarf, a funny feeling in his stomach twisting at the sight of it. It wouldn't hurt to leave it on, would it? Their lip-lock was broken once again when Mondo found his lungs demanding oxygen, just in time for the gang leader to push the shirt from the disciplinarian's shoulders, watching it fall into a crumpled heap on the floor. Words caught in Mondo's throat, his eyes taking in Kiyotaka's lithe yet muscular form. He swallowed thickly, hands flattening down his stomach and sides. A smile pulled at the corners of his lips and Mondo had to bury his face agaisnt Kiyotaka's neck to hide it. It wasn't a sneer or a smirk, it was some giddy, stupid grin that he knew made him look like an idiot. He wasn't used to being this nervous without getting angry, and it was doing funny things to him. Wonderful, strange things that made him laugh breathlessly against the hall monitor's shoulder. As if to mask his odd behavior, he turned his face towards the boy's pale skin, pressing light kisses agaisnt the base of his neck.

One mistake led to another, and now here he was, laying dead in the infirmary. Or at least, he had been dead mere seconds ago, but with the end of the trial upon them, new air fled into the biker's lungs. He had yet to open his eyes as his body still felt the ache and strain of having only just joined the living, but with only a snap of some fingers his chest was heaving raggedly. Once again Mondo felt the familiar feeling of sweet sweet oxygen flooding into his burning lungs. If only it could have been like that during his most recent encounter with Kyouko. Speaking of which, he found the situation before him quite odd. While he should have been feeling anger and bitterness, he felt nothing but calm. Disappointed, actually. Mondo wanted to be furious at Kyouko for what she had done, but knew that he could not. Neither of them had been in their right minds at the time of the fight, and he'd like to think his death had been unintentional. She'd lost her mind long before he had, and he'd simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time. It could have been anyone, but it wasn't. It was him, and that was all there was too it.
While thoughts swam through the boy's unconscious mind, he did not stir as another being rushed into the room. He felt eyes on him, and his body vaguely registered the slight pressure agaisnt his neck as fingers smoothed over the hideously prominent scar across his throat. It was only when those fingers left him that he finally awoke. As soon as Mondo has opened his eyes, every thought fled from his brain. Suddenly, he was clueless, confused, as to what was going on. He blinked slowly, noticing a startling shade of red and a blinding flash of white, before blinking again. And again. And again, until he realized that he was not seeing things. "...The fuck is goin' on...?" His own voice shocked him. Instead of the strong, aggressive tone it usually held, it was weak and hoarse as though he'd been screaming for a long while. Strange. "What the hell am I doin' here? And what the fuck are you doin' here!?" The volume of his words rose and suddenly he felt himself shouting at Ishida. He was angry and he hadn't been alive for more then a minute. Typical.
Tumblr media
The gang leader growled deep within his sore throat and began to sit up, gasping at the pain the shot throughout his body. His arms, his legs, his back, it all hurt. Deep inside his bones it ached. Gritting his teeth, he pushed through it until his feet were touching the floor and he was sitting up in the bed, glaring daggers at the twisted version of his brother. "Did ya' do somethin' ta' me? Where the hell is Kiyotaka?" He still felt drowsy, like his mind and body were moving slower than they should have for just a quick nap. That was what that had been, right? For the life of him Mondo had no clue as to why he'd chosen the infirmary to sleep in, but that was of little importance now. The boy before him was his main focus at the moment and he made sure to keep a close eye on him in case he dared to do anything suspicious. That smile of his was always so unnerving.
Welcome Back * Ishida|Kiyotaka & Mondo
Tumblr media
Ishida’s feet couldn’t have carried him to the infirmary more quickly if they tried. He all but dashed out of the courtroom, heading to the area without a second thought. One last look, he would be able to get at least that much before he disappeared a second time. This body wasn’t his, it belonged to that good little boy whom went out of his way to get along with everyone. It wasn’t his particular taste, but he could hardly stop the things Kiyotaka did with his time. Oh well, there was no time to dwell on such a trivial thought now. Not when such a special occasion was coming up. He entered the room, red eyes widening and the tell tale grin forming on his lips in satisfaction. Mondo was indeed here, laying on one of the beds; dead to the world. The albino crept up to the side, looking down much like he had upon the discovery of the other’s body, the same fond look in his eyes. No longer was he staring at the ceiling with cold, blank eyes, his skin was back to its original color; the familiar tan from riding his motorcycle every day, spending his time out in the sun. How beautiful it looked, how alive. Sending that girl to her death was rather enjoyable, but this…this was the moment he’d been waiting for since discovering the body. Examining further still, he could see the scar running along the width of Mondo’s neck, a reminder of his murder, of the inevitable hopelessness he felt right before he breathed his final breath. Delicately, he reached out, tracing it with a single finger. Oh, he’d been undeniably angry at first, but now he was looking on the brighter side of things. His brother was back, the only thing he cared about would return and he would witness it firsthand.

"Well if ya' stop now ya' won't get any fuckin' better. Plus, ya' only made one damn pancake and that ain't enough for us both ta' eat." He cocked a brow at Edell, staring at him incredulously. "With the next one, ya' can learn from yer mistakes and get better." His hand weighed down on Edell's shoulder, a friendly grin where his previous scowls had been. Now that they'd actually started talking, things weren't so bad. Cooking breakfast didn't feel like a chore anymore. Maybe eating wouldn't be so bad either.
"Just make a couple more and then we'll fuckin' eat." With that, he left Edell to his own devices and began a search for utensils and cups. he wondered how Ishimaru would react when he told him he'd successfully held in his anger for such an extended period of time. So long in fact that it had disappeared entirely. He'd always been so quick to jump to violence and anger that he hadn't ever realized how easily his aggression could slip away if he went out of his way to ignore it.
What is Making Friends? ♦ Edell and Mondo
Edell cringed as Mondo slapped his back, hunching over a slight bit. It sort of hurt quite a lot with such a weak body, the result of the past two years of doing nothing. With still a somewhat stoic expression on his face, a red flush spread to his face, feeling humiliated. I-If he’s trying to make me feel better, I can’t tell if he is or not…
"J-Just fuckin’ food… right…" Edell mumbled, watching Mondo work. His heart sunk slightly when he said it was his turn now. Does he have to do another? Didn’t that count as doing it on his own?? Frowning, Edell stared at the pancakem which other side was nearing completion.
"…Can’t I just take this one and eat it? Isn’t that good enough?"
