Dating Gaius van Baelsar:

Shoutout to the anon who said they really love Gaius. We are in this together!

(This is definitely not self-indulgent....LMAO)

-Not a really an openly affectionate man. Maybe hand-holding but it would be brief. Or a kiss on the temple when no one is around. Despite him not expressing his affections in that manner, Gaius definitely shows his love through acts of service and words of affirmation if his partner really needs to hear it.

-Actually has doubts in his ability to make his partner happy. He constantly is fighting thoughts of "Am I worthy enough for them? Do I really deserve to be happy after everything I have done? How can they stay by my side when threat looms over me? Can I really give them the life they want?". This relationship definitely requires some patience and tons of reassurance.

-Going on a date with Gaius? Again, not really the type to go out on dates but will if it makes his partner happy. He prefers just spending time with them alone, by a warm fire, in each others arms and just talking about anything and everything.

-Very protective. Even when he is very busy Gaius will go out of his way to be with his partner when they go out. He worries for their safety and would feel incredibly guilty if something bad happened to them. Low-key is also worried about them because his enemies could target his partner to get to Gaius.

-Since Gaius is an early riser he really enjoys those precious moments where he can look down at his partner and admire their beauty. The peaceful expression they have as they sleep is something Gaius wants to protect. It motivates him everyday to fight for a better future. A peaceful future where he hopes he can experience with his partner.

-If his partner is a fighter like him, Gaius will insist he takes the lead to protect them while they keep a distance. If they happen to be a melee fighter, Gaius will keep careful eye on them throughout the fights, though he does the best he can to put his trust in them. He is just afraid they might get seriously hurt or worse. But he won't let his doubts make him become too overbearing.

Gaius van Baelsar Headcanons:

-Gaius is a morning person but will not utter a single word without a cup of coffee. After that, he may speak up.

-Is really good at reading people and observing them but is really bad at socializing and communicating himself.

-When he worries about something, Gaius tends to brush his fingers back and through his hair. He may not look like the sort of person to worry but if you pay close attention to you begin to read him like an open book.

-Has a way with writing. Gaius commits every evening to write about his day. It helps him reflect and stay in the present. He is certainly a wordsmith honestly he should write a biography about his life because I see him be a really great writer

-An absolute dog lover. That's it.

you've done Haurche with a WoL who has chronic fatigue, what about one with chronic pain. your fatigue one was very comfy 🥺

Hauchefant & WoL with Chronic pain

-With the endless fighting and injuries came with the chronic pain that would remind the WoL of their past injuries. Despite being healed, it wasn't a complete fully recovery but they did what they could to hide the pain so they wouldn't make their loved ones worried.

-Yet today was perhaps one of the worst flare-ups they have experienced. Their joints were inflamed followed by intense back pain. It had woken up in the middle of the night, the pain growing more intense as their heart raced with anxiety.

-Would the pain go away? Could they overcome it? What if it's worst next time that they can't move or do their duties? What if I disappoint my loved ones? Why am I so weak? Endless thoughts ran through the WoL's mind as their chest heaved rapidly for air when a sudden touch on the shoulder brought them to reality.

-Haurchefant with a tired and worried expression asked if they were ok. They didn't want to pry too much and waited for a response, silently touching the WoL's hair as the other hand trailed up and down their arm soothingly.

-He listened carefully to what they were feeling. Never invalidating or judging this moment of vulnerability. In fact, Haurchefant found them to be so incredibly strong more so than ever. After they had finished talking, Haurchefant asked what could he do to ease the pain.

-Upon further knowledge and directions given, Haurchefant grabbed many pillows to help support their back and under their knees. As he got them in a more comfortable position, he began to carefully massage the tense muscles, starting from the foot and making his way up the legs, including their arms and hands, gently rubbing their joints. He paid close attention to the WoL's expressions, making sure they weren't in any further pain.

-Provides some relaxing scents I the room to keep the WoL calm. Lavender was a great scent and helped them sleep. Sometimes Haurchwfat would use them to make warm cups of tea in hopes to keep them warm and comfortable.

-He's an absolute gentleman who will be more than happy to carry walk with them or carry them to the restroom. They are hungry? Haurchefant will have something prepared and even try to feed them himself.

-He's very aware of their behaviors. The anxiety, anger, hopelessness. He keeps track of their moods and does whatever he can to praise them. To constantly reassure them that they will overcome this. When they talk negatively about themselves, Haurchefant will always talk back with a compliment. He knows that it's hard to be optimistic when you are in pain, but he also wants to remind them how amazing they are.

-Every night, Haurchefant starts up a hot bath for the WoL. He brings everything, the bubbles, snacks, candles. He will sit by them and chatter away. Telling them funny stories as he helps wash their hair or back, peppering their skin with delicate kisses. He just wants to pamper them.

Talking to a friend about Zenos showing romantic interest in someone in a modern au setting. Here are some thoughts.

-Zenos texting WoL at 3am asking for advice. WoL is just like "Zenos it's 3am".

-The guy doesn't know how to ask general questions or asking someone out on a date so the WoL often writes a script for Zenos.

-Imagine Zenos forget to get the persons number and instead casually mentions that he knows where they live and what window they leave unlocked. WoL: "What the fuck, Zenos. No. Don't go over to their place. Ask for their number next time you see them"

Zenos...there is much work to be done if you want to woo someone.

hello! i saw your modern hcs and i really liked them! If you write for him, could i ask for some zenos ones please and ty?

Of course I can! Sorry for the delay!

Modern AU Zenos:

-Not the type to want to have a job honestly. Traditional 9-5 jobs bore him and no matter what his family presents him, he has no interest. As such, Zenos lives a lavish lifestyle with no career goals (HAHAHA)

-He doesn't have many friends except for one person (aka WoL) who he met at University. He will always want to see them, even if they don't want to.

-Despite his family's reputation, Zenos often will get in trouble with anyone who wants a fight. He isn't into starting his own gang, but he may interact with them just to see who is the strongest.

-Grew up as a star athlete but over time got bored with sports because no one was close to being a rival to him. (Imagine Zenos and WoL growing up together being rivals in sports and then he gets upset when they move away and that drive in him just stops)

-Did I say he likes to fight? You will see this man making bets, winning and coming out with more money in his pockets. Though, he actually doesn't care for the money. He just wants to get the blood pumping.

-During the day you may see him at a small bar tucked in an alleyway. Despite his wealthy background, he doesn't always desire the finest foods or drinks.

-Zenos does not know how to really interact with people without scaring them. Retail job? Absolutely not. Just a customer? Everyone acts like he owns the store. He just has a really intimidating presence about him that makes it difficult for anyone to get close to him.

-Still hasn't finished his university degree because he barely attends class and finds studying boring. His father isn't impressed but he doesn't care.
