at some point you have to realize that you actually have to read to understand the nuance of anything. we as a society are obsessed with summarization, likely as a result of the speed demanded by capital. from headlines to social media (twitter being especially egregious with the character limit), people take in fragments of knowledge and run with them, twisting their meaning into a kaleidoscope that dilutes the message into nothing. yes, brevity is good, but sometimes the message, even when communicated with utmost brevity, requires a 300 page book. sorry.

On some level, kind of, almost. But their job is to kill people. They kill innocent people every day. The US exists through perpetual violence against the global working class, including its own working class. The military is how it carries out a large portion of that violence. You deserve better. im at a restaurant right now and there's this like 16 year old kid sitting at the table next to me completely alone with like 6 racks of ribs. hes eating like 1 rib every 10 seconds and the poor server who was assigned to him has to keep getting him new ribs. ive been here for an hour just watching this kid inhale ribs like he's gonna die the next day. he probably will given the amount of hot sauce he put on them

Before October 7th, Namer Matar and his wife owned a stonemasonry business, now destroyed by the constant bombing of the zionist occupation. His wife was pregnant with twins, and she gave birth to two boys in unsanitary and atrocious conditions in displacement. 3 months after their birth, both boys contracted a serious condition that needed immediate intensive care, but because of the zionist occupation's bombings of hospitals and the blockade preventing medical aid from entering, the care was not adequate, and one of the boys - Ali (named after his martyred uncle) - died very quickly. His brother - Zakaria - is still undergoing treatment for survival, and has special needs such as needing lactose free milk. They have 4 other children, as well as Namer's grieving parents, who all need to be evacuated.
