At work, a slightly demanding and difficult patient called me, my nurse, and the charge nurse into his room. Holy guacamole, i thought i was in trouble! Once we were all in his room, he stood there and began to thank each of us for the work that we do. He told me that i did a good job and that i would make an excellent nurse because of the compassion and happiness i showed while doing my job. He said that i deserved recognition and wanted to let my superiors know. I love everything there is about nursing and days like today remind me why i love doing what i do. I graduate next saturday and i couldnt be more excited and terrified of whats to come.

1st Grade Teacher: The Natives taught us to grow crops and we all had thanksgiving! 


6th Grade: we might have kicked the Natives off their land, and for that we are so sorry.


Me: but did you mur-


Teacher: you’ll learn that in high school


12th grade: We killed that one Native and we are so sorry, but the BUFFALOS, WE WERE DICKS FOR THAT!!


College: It was genocide.

When it came to Monica’s apartment, the set designer for the show Greg Grande wanted to develop “a whole new kind of eclectic taste with a flea-market, whimsical, and anything-goes style.”

The lampshade next to the couch – It might look odd, but this is one of the most talked about accessories on the show. At $3700, it’s also one of the most expensive, but Greg Grande says it’s worth it. “It has kind of bohemian feel”.

The doors to Monica’s bedroom and guest room were fake entries. The Central Perk set was on the other side of that wall. The bedrooms were only put together when needed for a scene.

 The vintage refrigerator in Monica’s apartment actually worked and was kept stocked for the cast and crew.

The purpose of the poster behind Monica’s TV set was to hide a hole in the wall that cameras often filmed through.

In “The One With the Secret Closet,” the locked door where Monica supposedly stashed all her junk really just led to the area backstage.

The frame on the front door – The ornate yellow frame surrounding the peephole is one of the most recognizable decorations in Monica and Rachel’s place. Its presence on the front door, however, came about completely by accident. It was originally a mirror. As they were dressing for the Pilot episode, the mirror broke and set decorator Greg Grande thought it would be a great idea to try the frame over the peephole. The frame stayed over the peephole for 10 years.

Immediately noticed the harry potter books, hard bound too! What?!

Today I went to the almost perfect used book store in Roseville Ca. They have a lot of books but I’d rate them about 8/10 on a scale of used book stores I’ve been to. But if your in the area it’s a nice place to check out.

I hate when people complain about the government but dont even exercise their right to vote. Just think about that for one second. I hate when people complain about "society" because "we" are society. (Pretty sure i read this somewhere) I hate when girls put other girls down for showing their body off. Girls dont do that when its a guy showing off, right? I hate when people have dogs but dont treat them with the love and respect they deserve. (Im a crazy dog lady) I hate when people interrupt in class with something unrelated to the topic being discussed. I hate when people complain about technology ruining social skills. I hate the feeling of competition. I will instantly try to lose or make it into a tie. I love when people recommend really good books. I love when teachers actually inspire you to do more with life. I love the excitement dogs get when i come home after being away, even for just an hour. I love to see/ hear people get excited about their work/ school. I love people watching and eavesdropping. I love having conversations about school supplies and anything related to science/ nursing.
