this is my rp blog and i didn’t wanna post a personal post on the hmd tumblr, so i’m just gonna reblog my post so you guys can see my blabbering. 

okay. so i wanna chat about characters. 

who are you guys making? tell me a little something about them. are you going to request family, friends, lovers, etc for them? 

is anyone looking to make any male hunters? because my little hunter chick is gonna need two older brothers. also, a werewolf that infects her because she corners him in a hunt??? i have so many requests already in mind, y’all help.

so i’m kinda craving a accidental family plot.

a bunch of supes who were all abandoned by their creators/makers/etc. who found each other and now take care of each other even though they’re all different species. 

and everything is more fun with collaboration, so if you like the sound of this, message me and maybe we can put something together? ;)

the possessing spirits’ only goal is to corrupt and twist the souls of the starving and hungry; feeding themselves as their host does the same. they are incapable of any thought beyond their own greed.

all living wendigos were once human but their souls became corrupted by the violent spirits that took control of them during a time of extreme weakness. once they have consumed human flesh they begin to change. the hunger is something that can never be fully satisfied; the consumption of humans becomes necessary to their survival. for most, anything other than flesh is entirely unappetizing.

the newly created living wendigo may attempt to fight these new urges. as well as the change that threatens their personality. greedy intrusive thoughts become the norm.

phoenixes have been in an unending cycle of death and rebirth for so long they are mostly unsure of when their first lives began. they are capable of living unusually long lives; one recording their longest life cycle being around two hundred and fifty seven years. some poets may describe the creatures' lives as being beautiful in the fact that they know they will die to be reborn but that they never know when they'll die. most phoenixes would call bullshit and maybe kick those poets' asses for being such pretentious snots.

their rebirth is a lot how reincarnation is described. they are very often born to unknowing mortal parents. some of them, when young will say odd things such as "well when i was an adult i could drive." these are remnants of previous lives that always disappear by the age of five. it isn't unusual for them to have no recollection of these things when brought up by their parents at a later date. however, usually around the age of their very first death (the age when their very first cycle ended) their past lives begin to come back to them in short waves. this is overwhelming for them; causing great mental anguish and disorientation for most.

eventually their memories will completely uncover their fate. phoenixes never know when their time will come to a close in their current life cycle. it can come at any moment. sometimes, this can cause paranoia and an unraveling.

one cannot be born a vampire, even though in the middle ages some believed this to be true. therefore, when children were born with teeth or any abnormality, they were immediately killed in fear that they were blood-sucking demons.

only a human can become a vampire - a supernatural being cannot be a "two-in-one" type of creature, at least, there has never been news of such a creature in the supernatural world. a mere bite does not make a vampire. to become a vampire the following events must occur: the human must have vampire blood in their system. the human must die.

to complete the transformation, the vampire-candidate must feed on human blood, although it does not need to be fresh blood and they don't need to kill the human - this is assuming the new-vampire can restrain themselves. the new-vampire and the other become the progeny and the maker. the vampire who is the maker does not need to also be the vampire who killed the human - but they must have at least one drop of their blood in their system.

a vampire may also have a "servant," someone who is able to assist them in activities the vampire themselves may not be able to do so otherwise. a servant supplies blood as well as anything else the vampire desires. a vampire employs a servant by sharing a blood bond with them, created by allowing the servant to drink some of the vampire's blood. a vampire may create a servant out of any species that is living, such as a human or werewolf.

powerful dark magic brought skinwalkers into existence. it began when a power-hungry medicine man completed a ritual to grant himself even more strength. he had already attained the highest level of priesthood within his tribe but wanted more. the ritual was his creation and included the murder of his own mother. the result of this magic was the ability to shift into any animal he desired, including that of any human. he used this for evil and was feared by his tribe for many years. it was only after the sudden death of a chief's daughter that the skinwalker was identified and stopped. though with his dying breath he vowed that the magic would continue on.

there is no known system to understand who will be born a skinwalker. there may be multiple within a family or only one. the magic may skip dozens of generations only to pop up the moment it is least expected. though most skinwalkers are born, it is possible to become one. if one were to perform a ritual similar enough to the original and execute the same level of selfish need for power (i.e. killing one's own loved one), the magic could very well scorch through them.

the more powerful the skinwalker, the more magic they possess to transform into a variety of animals. weaker skinwalkers may only be able to transform into one or two animals. a skinwalker may only use their magic to transform into animals, nothing else. when a skinwalker transforms into an animal, they turn into the standard size for that animal.

banshees are great sufferers. death follows on their heels. while many people go about their lives with little to no knowledge of the constant loss of life around them, these cursed ones are incapable of ignoring it. they can sense when strangers are in their final days, whether the death will be a surprise or not.

the closer a person is to the banshee the more the vision and actual death will rattle them. often times the foreseeing of these deaths causing the infamous wail. this wail is able to deafen mortals. and can often even cause a fracturing in a mortal mind.

banshees live a mortal lifespan and can be killed with any blow, etc that would end a mortal's life. they also have a particularly high suicide rate, sometimes unable to bare the curse they've been saddled with.

some psychics are incredibly weak and can go through life never realizing they have a sixth sense, while others may be very strong with multiple abilities. one can train and practice to enhance their talents. if a psychics does not use their abilities, they can begin to wither and lose power.

a psychic can be killed in any way a human can; they are mortal.

a psychic is born with the senses they have, they can not acquire another one later on in life. if a psychic is turned into a werewolf or vampire they lose their abilities.
