Well, it's finally here! A day later than I wanted it to be, but yesterday was my 1 year anniversary of getting into CCCC! Unfortunately it was also the same day my family threw a big party I had to go to! So it's a day late. Nonetheless, this is both a celebration for 100 critter posts and also my 1 year of being in this incredible fandom! :D

Ahh… that aside. I won't say too much about it, but for reasons [that aren't bad btw, I'm fine!! Apologies this took so long] critter posting might be… way slower? Possibly not daily anymore. For the foreseeable future. And probably no more of these things [the animated loops]. I really really badly want to make a Heart one to finish the trio [in my head, Soul's was the first, this one is Mind's, and Heart's would have been next] but… ahh.. not sure if I have another one of these left in me at the moment.

I still love these guys and I love that you all love 'em. Unfortunately I can't keep making promises and not following through with them, so… just gonna put it out there! There's a reason I didn't call this blog daily critters after all. I sort of knew this would happen someday.

As I said, it's nothing bad, don't worry. Truth is that I struggle to maintain more than one hyperfixation at the same time and CCCC is currently being kicked to the backseat at the moment. It'll come back, this isn't the first time this has happened. I truly wish I could be a bit more consistent but I unfortunately have zero idea how to control where my interest goes. Nor how to get my interests to coexist with each other without completely kicking the previous one out for an undisclosed amount of time…

No, I'm not "moving on" because I'm bored of CCCC, or I don't like it, or that my new fixation is somehow better. I just get weirdly obsessed with things and jump between them a lot. It usually wouldn't matter that much! But now I have a following of people here specifically for CCCC so… I felt the need to update y'all. Maybe I'll be back in a couple weeks, or a month or two, I don't know! I can't control it nor predict it, unfortunately.

I still have a bajillion asks to get to and I do want to do those. Maybe someday! I don't know when, but I promise I will never delete 'em.

Ahah... sorry to bear bad news! It'd just get a whole lot of weight off my chest to admit it now instead of trying to keep up some facade of normalcy. This is a fun thing I do as a hobby, not a job that I should be stressing over like this! I hope you all will understand.

I got the anonymous ask first, and rather than immediately making me think of Mind with a fancy hairdo, it just made me think of Mind with just wayy too much fur. But I think after a nice brush and some [correction: a lot of] trimming it can be made manageable!

Why a braid specifically? Uh. No clue. Pretty princess Rapunzel Mind is real I suppose.

I think he absolutely could, he just wouldn't unless he's feeling particularly feisty. He enjoys the pets though!

I love bells. Can I give them all little bells? Like little cat collars with bells? Oh oh! And themed tags (like a moon for Hear and a sun for Mind and a star for Soul). Give Mind a little bow tie on his too. And some little tiny mini wings on the back of Heart’s on either side of the clasp. And soul gets those spikes you see on dogs’ collars sometimes!
