Thoughts on rogue core so far? (And potential implications for hoxxesbound?)

It's really really fun! Was lucky enough to have a friend pass me an invite; despite being in closed alpha, it's an already extremely addicting game! It's really entertaining playing a co-op roguelike that encourages monopoly-type backstabbing, haha.

As for Hoxxesbound, it is a bit unfortunate. Hoxxesbound was definitely nowhere near the intent of the canon of DRG, but I tried really hard to keep it as close to canon as possible; something that could neatly "fill in the cracks", so to speak. Hoxxesbound is no longer applicable in this manner! I did see this coming when the game was announced.

However... it doesn't actually change anything? The dwarves in DRG were certainly never intended to be anything more than regular fantasy dwarves, and Hoxxesbound does have this stipulation in the description:
