Competitive Pokemon League

I was just invited to join a pokemon draft league! I don’t know a ton about it yet, but I do know that if it’s gonna happen we need three more people! TBB Battle Ready Giveaway!

Stats: 6IV, 4ATK/252SpATK/252SPD, Levitate, Dragon Tail/Draco Meteor/Will-O-Wisp/Shadow Sneak, @ Griseous Orb

To get Kylo Ren, deposit a male zigzagoon in the GTS with the message TBBKYLO.

Usage Notes: This is a shiny clone of a Pokemon on my actual, personal VGC16 team. In my experience after two months of playing in the new format, the two biggest threats are Xerneas and Primal Groudon. Giratina can help to counter the second of those. I use Dragon Tail to carry out Groudon (or anything else on the field) if I’m not ready to deal with him yet. Draco Meteor does excellent damage, and Shadow Sneak is a decent priority move. Levitate + Dragon typing means he will evade all ground attacks and fire attacks will be not very effective. One drawback to my build: Kylo absolutely cannot stay on the field if an opposing Xerneas is out. I switch him out, but an alternative you can try is replacing Dragon Tail or Will-O-Wisp (a move I use to wear foes down) with Protect, if you want to try to let a teammate take out Xerneas quickly. Also, another viable option in general is replacing Shadow Sneak with Shadow Force. It’s not a priority move, but it hits much, much harder.

Shinifying Sunday

Sorry about that, the grandparents have finally left so I will be able to open a few slots for what’s left of today.

I will be opening 5 slots with no reserve slots this time (excluding my regular reserve person)

There will be a maximum of 4 pokemon each. How these ones will work are:

Message me to reserve a slot.

I will then ask for your FC, IGN and the pokemon you would like made shiny/pokeball changed.

You supply the pokemon for me

I will make it shiny / change its pokeball (pokeball is optional)

I will then clone myself a copy (If i need it) and trade back the original to you with your chosen changes.

Note: I have had people ask this in the past, No the pokemon will not corrupt your game once Its trade back.

Note 2: When your pokemon is shinifyed the only thing that will change is your ability to renickname the pokemon if it was caught/bred by you and the fact that it will be shiny.

^That’s Reshiram being shocked when I told him TheBattleBlog surpassed 800 followers.

This is similar to the reblog giveaway I did for 700 followers! The prize is a custom Pokemon. Everyone who reblogs this until January 3rd will be entered to win a custom Pokemon from The Battle Blog! On January 3rd, I will randomly select 10 winners and contact them.

Some notes:

-There will be 15 winners!

-You can reblog it as many times as you’d like, but likes will not count.

-You must be following this blog to win (but feel free to become a new follower). This is for my followers, after all.

-You must have your ask open and, if selected, must respond within a week. Otherwise, I’ll have to select a new winner. 

Some notes about the Pokemon:

-If you are selected, I’ll ask for the following specs: species (obviously), sex, name, nature, ability, IVs, moveset, and shiny or not. I will do EV training so long as it’s a 252/252/4 spread in the specified EVs.

-I will not add items or do other EV training spreads. More importantly, I will not do illegal combinations, such as moves a Pokemon cannot learn, Abilities a Pokemon cannot have, or a shiny Pokemon that is shiny-locked; I would be unable to trade these Pokemon to you even if I wanted to.

One last thing that probably goes without saying, but just in case: I will be creating these Pokemon via hacking. They will pass as legitimate (since I’m asking for nothing illegal especially) and will absolutely not harm your game in any way, however. Ok, let’s do this!:)

Xerneas GTS Giveaway

It’s been long awaited, but it’s finally here! I hope you all are ready to get yourself a shiny deer! Thanks to @pokedeer, I have one Japanese Xerneas and one English one. Both have had their natures and evs changed to fit mixed sweeper Xerneas. Both have the exact same nature, moveset, and evs, so please only pick one. 

Steps:

Get yourself a Whismur! You can catch them in Connecting Cave in X/Y and Rusturf Tunnel in ORAS.

Deposit your Whismur using the code “Waffles ENG Deer” for an English Xerneas or “Waffles JPN Deer” for a Japanese one. Please be sure to use this code. If you do not have this code in your message, I will not trade you. I’m usually pretty lenient on that, but this is probably going to be a hectic giveaway as it is already. 

Ask for a Xerneas! If you haven’t seen one yet, you can scroll down to the “What Pokemon” option for the “Pokemon Wanted” box. Make sure to spell everything correctly.

Hang out and wait. I’ll be doing my best to get every person who deposits until the giveaway is over.

Rules: 

If you’re being sniped, let me know. I’ll take note of the player and if we get repeated offenses, they will be banned from my giveaways. (I don’t know if this will be much of a problem, but I’m putting it there anyways)
