reading peterick fanfiction: you open your laptop and open the web browser. it’s already there. you didn’t even have to search anything. it’s everywhere. any possibly plot you could think of, it exists. there are so many.

trying to read joetrick fanfiction: you have to run twenty miles in grueling heat, solve a series of riddles, beat an obstacle course, swim through lava, kill a dragon, swim across the ocean, probably kill another dragon, and then get directions from a hermit living in a cave in the Rockies. when you finish, you are rewarded with six fics, and five of them are just TWNW.
