like I watched the film and I was like okay my heart is broken. but then reading the book, which shows what happens after the events of the film, and having the scenes of the film in my head, was the most emotional thing ever lmao

Sometimes i randomly remember they made it canon that Rossi, when stressed about a case, will cook pasta, make too much, set out a plate of it for a serial killer troubling him, and imagines having a nuanced conversation with said serial killer who isn’t, you know, actually there.
