I’ve actually been wondering if Henrik might be leaving. Remember his departure in series 15, he returned to Sweden to get to know his son and newborn grandson. I Think Oskar might have a near-death experience and that’ll prompt Henrik to take some time off or sadly, leave for good.
Ominous news for Henrik (possibly)
I’ve just found out Guy Henry is at the National Theatre from July to October, appearing in the production Peter Gynt, which means he won’t be filming Holby for a similar period of time. This could mean a couple of things.
Henrik is going to take a well-earned break to bond with his grandson, take him on a road trip and do lots of wonderful things off-camera, possibly getting laid as well (by a MAN, for the love of all things holy, PLEASE), and generally having the fabulous time he deserves after all the misery.
Something is going to happen to Oskar, which means Henrik is wracked with grief and has to have extended bereavement leave, dwelling in a pool of despair, the Black Dog snapping at his heels.
My money is on Option 2, sadly….

An easy but maybe hard question. Out of Holby City series 20, which episode of Holby was your favourite and why? - mine was the double header Report To The Mirror P1/P2 as Rosie and Paul’s acting was amazing in the lab. But than also Paul and Guy’s acting down the lake was AMAZING. Okay that’s two episodes I know.
This is hard question!! I have a few standout episodes.
I loved Bargaining because if the drama build up. The cliffhanger from the previous week made it a must watch episode and I was on the edge for most of even though, I knew Jac would survive.
I also loved, The L Word because it’s the ep that sold me on Hexanna. There is that fantastic scene between Ollie and Roxanna that breaks my heart.
I loved the acting and performance of Report to the Mirror I +II ( from Guy, Rosie and Paul) but the messy writing prevented me from fully enjoying. Dropping those plot bombs about John’s past was far too clunky.
Similarly, I enjoyed One Man and His God for the rich back story provided for our favourite trio. The guest actors were phenomenonal and music used was amazing. But, what this story and Report to the Mirror tried to do at the end was to provide a reason for John’s monsterous crime against Roxanna. It never came together properly. Paul McGann’s acting and voice overs are a stand out though!
I’m going to list a few more, because I’m a greedy person. 😝😝
No Matter Where You Go, There You Are - Both Guy Henry and James Anderson are out of this world in this. Henrik’s gradual breakdown over episode still gets me.
Child In Your Shadow - there is just so much Hexanna cuteness at the start!! Wish it had ended better for them!
Precipice - it’s the only time our squad comes together without conflict!!
Oh no! I think I may have accidentally listed most of Season 20!! I sort of suck at making hard decisions.

Just catching up on tonight’s Holby. Dom and Chloe are ambling at a leisurely pace down the corridor, like they’re having a nice stroll on the beach.

Polka dots! John’s showing some concern for Henrik there, but his steely gaze is unnerving.

Not at all annoying, I like your Henrik posts. They make very interesting reading. Carry on!
I have to admit, sometimes I feel like I’m being annoying with all the autistic!Henrik posts
like. am I being overzealous? do I come across as too pushy? idfk
it’s just a reading (I hesitate to call it headcanon, as that would imply a lack, or relative lack, of evidence) that is Very Important to me and I have a lot of feelings about it yknow
but I do fear I’m just irritating people, and certain replies I’ve got recently really have not helped

All the murder and mayhem that takes place in Holby City Hospital and no-one does anything more than chuckling a bit and remarking fondly "this place."
