It caught her eye the moment she walked in --- ghosts nagging at the back of her mind of her head, memories of that hat sitting on a scrawny Deadlock recruit, not much older than her.. Even got to lead them at one point--- that was a fuckin’ sight to see. Most of the happiest parts of her adolescence involved that hat and that wisecracking menace of a cowboy...
And then Jesse fucking died.
At least--- that was the story floated around Route 66. The entire Deadlock gang taken down by Overwatch---- either shot to hell or captured. Los Muertos had a party, of all things, now that their biggest rival had been scrapped.
