I'm currently sick, and it made me think. With the way we wrote the serious intense scenes/quotes from The Terror into funny, normal situations in Reach New Elevation, if I ever write a Hickeygibson oneshot in that AU, it's 100% going to be Billy being sick and Hickey doing the whole unsettling 'are you not well, Billy?' Thing, and then after he's all ominously like 'we'll make the best of a bad situation...' it just cuts to them like. Snuggled up in bed watching movies while Hickey hands him some ibuprofen and a hot water bottle.

my gf's father is reading the terror (which is a comedy setup of its own) and has HUGE troubles with remembering hickey's name. in a recent conversation, he called him hookie.
