Hello, everyone! Good news - MJ Week is coming up this month, in twelve days. We’re so excited to see everyone’s creative juices flowing with moodboards, artwork, gifs, photos, drabbles, one shots, long shots, multi-chaps, etc. Anything counts :) 

How to Post for MJ Week:

Every day is a new prompt. On the day of the prompt(s) you decide to work on, make sure to post your entry. You can do all of them, some of them, or even just one. 

In order to have your work shared, please tag the user @mjweek​ when posting your work to Tumblr, so that I can see your posts and reblog it onto our blog. I will also be tracking the tag “MJ Week 2021″ on Tumblr to see some posts. 

If you’re posting on Ao3, don’t forget to add your work to the collection: MJ Week 2021! This link is open to all on Ao3, and you can use the link to look at other people’s fanfiction that they add onto the collection. 

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I do [x] for prompt [x]? As long as your work is centered around MJ and fits the prompt, you are free to write about whatever you want! 

If I write a fic for MJ Week, does it have to be MJ’s POV? Again, as long as the fanfiction is prominently centered around MJ and the prompt that was provided, you are free to write however you want. 

Does it have to be about Spideychelle? No, it does not. While a few of the prompts involve Peter (ex. May & MJ), you are free to write about MJ only. I know most people who love MJ, also love Spideychelle, but the purpose of this week is to celebrate Michelle. Anything about Michelle will be accepted, unless it is fueled by hate, racism, sexism, etc.

Remember, if you are just consuming content (which is A-okay!), do your best to support the creators of the content you like. Likes and reblogs are appreciated, and kudos and comments are appreciated on Ao3.

Peter groans, “She changed her mind for the seventh time now, are we having that party or not?”

“Well, we have nearly a week ‘till my birthday, so there’s time for her to change her mind seven more times.” Ned points out.

MJ glares at him, causing Ned to sigh. “Okay, while there really is time for her to change her mind fo- okay MJ! For god’s sake, no, okay?” Ned gives up, his shoulders dropping. “She -and I’m quoting- wants her baby boy to celebrate his birthday only with his family, like the old days.”

While annoyed, MJ and Peter can’t contain their snorts, resulting in Ned punching their shoulders lightly.

“Maybe next time man.” says Peter, causing Ned to sigh once more.

Leaving hiatus for a brief second because I need to post about Birds of Prey again... holy shit that movie.

Is this how men usually feel when they go to see a superhero movie? Epic and empowered when they walk out of the movie theatre? Or maybe this movie is just in a category of its own.

Because it's been almost a year since I saw it, and I still feel as strongly about it as I did when I walked out of the theatre.

It's legitimately one of the best superhero movies to exist and I'm so mad it's not getting the appreciation it deserved.
