BOM London Matinee 26/11/22

Tom Xander, Ross Carpenter and Nicole-Lily Baisden's last matinee (see attached cast list)

Dom is back!!!!!!

(Also, got myself a last min ticket to the evening performance)

Not a massive muck-up or anything like that, but the cast were extra.

Here are the highlights that I remember:

There was alot of flirting with Price. Alot of the ensemble - Ugandans and Mormons - were flirting with him. There was a fair bit of touching Price's arm.

When Price and Cunningham were introduced to Naba Price tried to flirt by giving her a little finger wave, but she ignored him and waved at Arnold.

Arnold didn't understand personal boundaries - like at all - he was striking his dad's chest in the airport scene

Arnold was walking around with the Nesquick milkshake cartoon and his dad snatched it from him and shoved it back into his mum's hands

When Arnold said "I'm finally going to have a best friend", rather than making a choking sob Arnold's mum (Jack O'Niell) clutched her hand to her heart and looked at Price pleadingly

Cunningham's Dad was certainly playing up the 'I really dont like him' vibes

During Hasa Diga Arnold picked up Kevin and spun him round

In the Lullaby Arnold put his hand on Kevin's while sitting on the bed and didn't move it until Kevin gestured exaggeratedly with his head and eyes

In the Lullaby Arnold tried to get into bed with Price.

Tom looked like he was about to burst into tears after Arnold and Price argued and Dom ran off stage.

He then looked like he was on the verge of tears for most of Man Up.

Before Baptise me Kimbe got really close to Arnold and flirted with him l. She said "I'm really happy" rather than "were really happy".

In Baptise Me, when Naba and Arnold were behind the curtain, Arnold thrust at Naba in the final "and then...."

In I am Africa, when Naba and Arnold turned round and walked upstage, Arnold's hand was on Naba's arse

When Arnold said "I'm not a follower anymore" Naba made biting motions.

Gavin Alex picked up Ross at the curtain call and sat him on his shoulders then span round

When Stevie came on at the end holding the Poster for Acting for Others he kept pointing and gesturing at the conductor 'seductively'

At curtain call when the audience was cheering Tom Dom sat down on the stage

All in all, Tom and Dom were really extra

Rewrite the fucking book throw it away .

Was having a read of the Book of Mormon script book and I noticed A MISTAKE *gasp*. Apparently Elder Price says the ‘my best friend’ line in All American Prophet?! As I’m sure everyone else is, I was under the impression that Arnold says that line. What is the truth I’ll guess we shall never know

hello all!

my name is liza and this is my top secret side blog which ive made especially dedicated to musical theatre hehe. im 18 and from the UK and my fave musical is the book of mormon (especially the west-end cast) so expect a lot of ramble about that here especially PRICINGHAM ARGGHHHH. also a huge fan of anything andrew rannells #sorrynotsorry i love andy randy

i’ve seen it twice and am seeing it a third and fourth heheh.. i can try and see if i can get a bit of audio next time i go for ya ..

he’s the villain in the play, or one of them at least . he starts off this super kind loving character who just really loves god! but as the money flows in the power goes to his head… he plays tammys husband and he kind of forced tammy to do a lot of things she doesn’t think are right but hides it behind this big showbizzy persona .. there’s this whole song about how they’re gonna make “heritage usa” which is a big christian theme park and he absolutely KILLS the performance puts every ounce of energy he could into it and it SHOWS . he does this gay little jump in the air like in the book of mormon ads .. my favourite line of his was when he was explaining the concept of heritage usa (this big massive theme park with a ferris wheel and rollercoasters, with this little scale model he built), he said “it’s like disneyland… but for *good* people..”

there’s also a scene where he has a flashback to being caught masturbating as a kid and it absolutely took the wind out of me because yes it’s a serious scene but andrew rannells on his knees on the floor honestly was the priority

there are some very dark themes in the show and it tackles them very well so i won’t rlly explain much of that but… jim apparently had a bunch of sexual encounters with a dude so big shocker andrew rannells is playing him .

he’s in like. 70s old man clothes. with these silly goofy glasses and he absolutely kills it .

i’m really bad at explaining it but i could go on if needed ^v^

i hope someone on this cursèd webbedsite watches tammy faye and tells us everything. or even records a little video. whatever. I want the deets.

I’ve been thinking about Days Like This a lot. The song tears my heart in to pieces but I can’t stop listening to it
