Greetings to all our brothers abroad. After my recent hospitalization for tests, I returned home and painted a new picture as soon as my body calmed down. I had tweeted a little rough sketch on X while I was in the hospital, and I finished it. This time, the quality and spirit of the work was exceptional, so I dared not to report any progress after I put it on paper!

This time, I decided to illustrate a two-shot of the cool Lalba and Riggle. I tried to create a retro-pop image that evokes a bit of the past! The size of the illustration is A4, which is bigger than the ones I usually draw, so it looks great in real life!

This illustration will be added to the mail order lineup after the exhibition at the event in October, so if you are interested in picking one up, please wait until then.

I'm going into the hospital tomorrow for a couple of nights and three days for a checkup.

Another test for uterine cancer.

I can't stand it.

Well, I can't draw analog illustrations when I'm in the hospital, so I finished Lily White before then.

Although the cherry blossoms have already faded in Kobe, where I live, I bring you a spring-like illustration from Japan, which is at the forefront of the cherry blossom season.

My recent problem is that I can't find buyers for my drawings🥲. I am currently in the midst of a battle with cancer, so I can't go out to work, so illustrations are the only way I can make some income.

Since the yen is weak right now, it's an easy time for my brothers and sisters overseas to buy my illustrations, but I wonder if there are any of you who are looking at this page who would like to buy my original illustrations.

Good evening everyone overseas.

This is Homara-san who loses track of some of the things he should be doing when he's doing something else.

The new one you've been waiting for, Koishi in glasses, is ready.

To tell you the truth, I had finished it earlier in the week, but I was still too tired from the prefectural powerlifting competition I participated in on 3/31, so I didn't have enough time to update my tumblr yet.

I'm happy to report that I did very well at the prefectural competition and won a gold medal in my division.

I'm happy to report that my total weight has met the entry criteria for the Japan Grand Prix competition, which will be held in the second half of this year!

Back to the story of this piece, I applied the same gloss burnish as last time to make the 3rd eye,, and glasses more 3D!

Hello brothers and sisters across the sea ☺. This time, I drew a monocle of Alice, a favorite character of my ally who has been very supportive of me on Tumblr and Twitter.

Since it looks like spring will be coming soon in Japan, I tried to draw her with a spring color scheme and a tea time theme.

This time, as a new trial, we are trying to make the drawing surface a little more three-dimensional. The marguerites and dots in the background are of course hand-drawn, but they and the monocle have been processed to appear three-dimensional.

If everyone in the world appreciates this new approach, I am thinking of incorporating it more and more in future new works.

On a different note, this weekend, March 31, I will be participating in a powerlifting competition in Hyogo Prefecture, where I live. It is a so-called official competition. I have never participated in a competition where official records can be kept, so this will be my first time participating.

It just so happens that I am the only one registered to compete in my class, so I will be the winner if I can record at least one trial in each of the three categories.

However, I intend to do my best to show the results of my hard work since I started powerlifting last July, and to obtain the standard record to participate in the Japan Grand Prix competition scheduled around October.

There is no streaming for the prefectural competition, so I guess I will report the results after the fact, but I hope all my brothers across the ocean will support me so that I can compete in the Japan Grand Prix (a national competition in Japan). 👍️

Sorry for the long wait, world brothers and sisters.

I finally finished Chiyuri's illustration.

Now, Chiyuri and Yumemi are paired with each other.

I'm going to frame it and exhibit it somewhere or sell it.

There are several reasons why it has been a little while since I announced that I was going to draw Chiyuri. One is a good story and the other is a bad story.

The bad news is that her uterine cancer may have returned. I was told that the cancer had disappeared, but after three months, a quick checkup found some abnormal cells that were present before the cancer started.

Next month, I will be hospitalized again to have all the endometrium removed under general anesthesia and undergo tests.

I feel like throwing up just thinking about it.

Not only would I have to pay for the hospitalization, but if the cancer was still there, I would have to say goodbye to my uterus.

Then I'll be in the hospital again. It's disgusting.

On a positive note, I recently broke my own powerlifting records in two events (squat and deadlift), and I will be competing in the prefectural competition on March 31.

I hope I can make a record at the prefectural competition....

Finally, if any of my siblings would like to support me, they would be very happy to send me an Amazon gift or something.

I need to buy protein and supplements for my athletic life and fighting illness...

I'm still too busy with medical bills to do any free shopping.

I really love Kana Anaberal, I feel like she deserves to have a lot more backstory. She just seems so different and weird, I like to think about her whenever I'm sad.

I like Kana, too, of course, because she is so cute with her props and costume designs in drawing: ❤️

However, I think my most favorite 98-character kuta is Asakura Rikako.

She looks very similar to me and I feel a kinship with her, and most of all she's a science girl!

In Japan, there are very few girls who choose the science field.

I wanted to work in the medical field, and I also liked science from the start, so I went that route, but in high school I was the only one in my grade who chose science 😂No way, 1/120th of a percent girl !

So I have a strong affinity for Rikako, who looks like me and is in my lineage, so I think she's my favorite!

Thanks to the medication I told you about the other day, my mind is finally at peace and I have the energy to paint Yumemi Okazaki, so I finished the picture.

The stress from my mother in the house is as strong as ever, but my mood swings have calmed down, so I am enjoying Pal World and have finished the painting, although it took a while.

Now that I finally caught Jetlang, I think I will be able to make progress in Pal World from here on out.

To tell the truth, I haven't been able to play against the two knights of the desert yet, so I'm looking forward to doing so.

I'm currently working on careful selection of individual hatchlings, so in the meantime, I'm going to draw Chiyuri, Yumemi's partner.

I haven't been able to paint any new pictures since Patchouli the other day. Today, I would like to show you one of my paintings from the year before last, when I was in the hospital.

Today, I went to the psychiatrist I mentioned the other day.

Since it was my first visit, I had to wait for more than an hour because the other urgent patients had already finished their appointments.

After being called to see the doctor, he listened to me carefully and suggested that I start by alleviating the symptoms I was suffering from first and foremost, without making any diagnosis, and prescribed me a very gentle medicine.

I don't know how it is in other countries, but in Japan, it is called "out-of-hospital prescription," and you have to get a prescription from the hospital and go to a pharmacy to get the medicine there.

Unfortunately, I did not have the physical and mental strength to go to the pharmacy, so I do not have the medicine yet.

I haven't been able to sleep at this time (it is just after 3:00 am in Japan) due to various stressful events in the afternoon. I have a lot of things to do when the sun comes up, but I don't think I will be able to rest.

Since I had a serious illness, I have become more cognizant of stress, but at the same time, I feel that I have become very vulnerable to stress.

I am currently taking an immunosuppressant drug, and even if I reduce the number of pills I take, the mental side effects still seem to occur as the blood level rises.

It took me a long time to come up with this rough sketch.

I am going to see a psychiatrist for the first time in my life at the end of this month to check for hidden mental illnesses and to improve my insomnia.

If I am lucky, I may be able to resume work in the near future, so I want to make sure my body and mind are in good shape...

━━━━ Hospitals are still tiring.

Yesterday was the day of my monthly hospital visit for an incurable disease.

I have a cavernous hemangioma and a giant lymphatic malformation of the head and neck, the latter of which is designated as an intractable disease in Japan.

I was hospitalized in September 2022 with blindness caused by these diseases, and I have been undergoing steroid pulse therapy, radiation therapy, and progress.

The number of departments visited yesterday was 5. I went to the hospital at 8:30 am and left the hospital at 3 pm after completing all the consultations and accounting.

After that, I went to buy a cake for my mother's birthday, which made me so tired that I was finally able to start moving at around 4 pm today.

I don't know if it's because I've been in the hospital for a long time or if it's because I've been working in the medical field, but I feel like I've been losing a lot of mental and physical energy when I go out.

However, one good thing that has happened recently is that I have drawn Patchouli, which has inspired me to draw my next illustration.

It is still snowing in Japan, but I heard that plum blossoms have started blooming in Rikyu Park near my house.

In Japan, plum blossoms are said to be a seasonal change that signals the arrival of spring.

I have not been able to paint since November, and I have been able to paint in the spring when the plum blossoms bloom. In other words, I may have been hibernating.

I hope this hibernation will have a positive effect on my future illustration work.
