Ashfur arrives in Starclan. He’s a little shocked that they let him in, but they all pass it off as him having loved too much, and let him in. He reunites with a few of his old friends who had died and gets ready to enjoy a nice and peaceful afterlife.

And then he meets Thrushpelt.

Ashfur had never even heard of him. It was only after joining Starclan that he learned of the toms existence, but even then he hadn’t regarded him as more than a simple warrior.

“You did not love too much.”

Ashfur looks up at him, shocked and offended. “Excuse me?”

“You. Did not. Love. Too. Much.” Thrushpelt almost growls, and anger in his eyes that Ashfur could not have expected from such a soft looking tom. “You, you loved too little.”

“You barely even know me.” Ashfur scoffs. What does he care anyways? He died well before Ashfur was even born. Besides, he could not understand the pain of losing the love of your life to another man.

“No, I don’t, Ashfur. But I’ve watched you. You never loved Squirrelflight. You wanted her, sure, but you never loved her.” Thrushpelt sneers. “I know what it’s like to love too much, and too have that love taken away-“ He glances at Bluestar. “When you love someone, you don’t hurt them when they reject you. When you love someone, you don’t destroy their family out of spite. You support them, or you move. on.”

Ashfur only now realized how close he was being pushed towards the dark forest. “I was perfect for her, and she left me for another man. She deserved-“

“You.” Thrushpelt interrupts, voice booming. “You deserved everything that came to you. You deserved your demise at the hands of Squirrelflight’s daughter. You deserved the slow, painful death you got.” He hisses. “She deserved to never have known you. She deserved to be able to live the rest of her days peacefully with her children and her family, without you constantly trying to destroy it.”

“Your crime was not loving too much, Ashfur.” He states. “Your crime was loving too little.”

Ashfur found himself up against the border of the dark forest, close enough to hear the whispers of those inside. He was shocked when a woman’s voice mewed in agreement, and he was even more shocked to hear voices he’d only heard as a kit laughing at him and mocking him. When he regained his senses Thrushpelt was gone, and he was left alone in the starry fields, surrounded by the voices of monsters killed long ago.

Ashfur made sure to stay as far away from Thrushpelt as possible.

Frostbite - dilute tortie Frostfur! Mostly to match my dilute tortie Whitestorm (cause I like them as siblings) but also so her kids make more sense

Snowshoe - MORE CANONICAL COLOR POINTS PLS. Blue snowshoes are,,,so pretty,,,and I think it's fits Frostfur so well. Plus I think her kids taking after her and being warmer snowshoe points would be very cool

Diamond Dust - ticked tabby Frostfur, again, purely because it's pretty and she deserves it~ I was tempted to do a gold version but I also like the silver version too

Briarlight! I love her a lot. Finding out she got killed after Vicki left the writer’s team sucked tbh. Such a unique character, I appreciated the accurate emotional struggle through her injury, she deserves the world.

Warrior AU

Ok so what if hollyleaf didnt kill ashfur when she attacked him and he escaped back to camp and told everybody that she tried to kill him and he also saw her try and kill leaf leafpool as well and when hollyleaf freaks out when she comes back to camp and becomes a rogue

Ashfur talks with leafpool about the fact that the three were actually her kids and not squirrelflights and brableclaws he then apologized to her and squirrelflight for his actions

consider: yellowfang x frostfur. frostfur visits her daughter cinderpelt often and bonds w yellowfang. frostfur is grieving over lionheart. yellowfang understands her feelings and helps her get through it and they become best friends and its absolutely slowburn but when it happens babey theyre way in love and frostfur finds excuses to sleep in the medicine cat den with her if there isn't especially too many litters in the nursery and ghhh i love these girls I want them happy
