Part of the piece I'm currently working on. Everything I make takes me forever because I'm so worried about making sure it's exactly "right" and that I dont "mess it up." Comparison is the thief of joy (or something along those lines ☺) and I need to remind myself not to put myself down for thinking I'm not as good as everyone else out there. Everyone has room to improve and practice will make us progress. The bottom line is that I enjoy creating and that's really all that matters. And when I'm feeling really down, I ask my daughter what she thinks and she ALWAYS tells me what I make is the "best in the whole world." When I was in active addiction, there was no room for anything enjoyable. Using took up everything I had.
