Beaux couldn't help but smile, she hadn't expected anyone to help her out unless it was someone that happened to work there. So, it was nice to see she wasn't alone in her distaste toward the kids, "I think the problem is most the parents are just as, if not more entitled themselves and think they're doing the rest of us a favor by giving us more work to do. After all, it isn't their job." After folding the last shirt, she set it on the stack and turned toward the other, holding her hand out, "I'm Beaux, by the way, thanks for helping in solidarity."

Cat placed her own, less than impeccable, folded shirt back down at the top of the stack. And maybe it was because of the other or maybe it was because of the aforementioned asshole kids, but she grabbed another one and started to fold it as well. "Wouldn't that be nice," she agreed, though she could only offer a soft huff. "Who knows, maybe they already have. I don't think I'll ever understand parents that can continue to defend kids like that."

"Another time then," Killian couldn't help but wink, pulling away with a resting smirk before becoming somewhat serious. "Sounds to me like both of you need to get laid, whether it's with each other or with someone else, doesn't matter. Sex does wonders for one's mental state," he told the other, as if he was speaking matter-of-factly. "Perhaps even a threesome," he added with a shrug.
He had. Something he would never admit out loud to the other, not if he could help it, at least. Swallowing thickly, Phin managed to roll his eyes. “No,” he lied, “My marriage is—“ he wanted to lie, tell the other his marriage was fine, but they both knew it was bullshit. Though, he wasn’t sure the other was entirely wrong, but it wasn’t him that needed someone. Sammy certainly deserved to feel wanted, someone that could give her what he couldn’t.

"Only the best for my wife," Killian assured her with a smile, reciprocating the kiss with one to Aylin's forehead. "I'll do my best to ensure there isn't a next time," he added, though he knew it wouldn't be the last time, certainly, there was no harm in trying to do better. Or at least giving the impression that he'd try. "No need to apologize, I had a smoothie late in the day, so that should tie me over for a little longer. Is there something I can do to help? If you were that exhausted, I could've picked something up."
while aylin knew she wasn't in love with killian, it wasn't so horrible being married to him really. it kept her image clean and killian could be sweet when he wanted to, plus he was very attractive which aylin appreciated. aylin was also very into the bad boy type and killian fit that perfectly which meant that aylin often melted at his little acts of kindness that she knew meant nothing.
"they're beautiful kils." aylin said, taking the flowers and pressing herself up on her toes and kissed him on the cheek. "i guess i can let it slide this time but next time it'll be roses and chocolates, okay?" she said teasingly before grinning at the other for a moment. "thank you. sorry it's not ready yet. i crashed after work and lost track of time. i didn't mean to." she said.

Inhaling a deep breath, Manu ran a hand through his hair and over his face before slipping out, "He's my son, and perhaps one of my biggest regrets is not fighting harder to be apart of his life. He's also just showed up at my doorstep.." He knew if anyone was able to relate, it was Aaron.

Aaron listened patiently, not wanting to push his friend before he was ready. He was all too familiar with the feeling himself. "No, I don't think you have," he admitted, not recognizing the name.

Bitterness settled into his features, eyes furrowing in disbelief as Diego told him more about what his mother had said. "That was NEVER the case. I was in med school, my bills were endless, but I was willing to take up jobs and put all that aside to do what I had to." He had done that, in order to send child support or at least, as much as he was able to send.
"I'm sorry, truly, had I known, I would've done more, I should've done more." Had he fought harder, perhaps his son wouldn't be a stranger to him but alas, he was young, easily persuaded. He was convinced it was what was best for his son. "From the sounds of it, I would say not."
"If you'd like, I can make it my way, it still has the sweetness to it. I won't be offended if you don't want it or like it, though," Manu offered, smiling a little at the similarity between the two. "I am also a sugary coffee guy, never understood the appeal of having it without." He admitted. "Sounds like you were a good kid," Manu added, flashing a sad smile. "You wouldn't be forcing a thing, I can't go back in time but I can try my best to make things right now."
"No, she usually shut down any mention of you. Told me she didn't know I was asking about someone that didn't even want me," He admitted, chewing on his lower lip. Eventually, he'd just stopped asking, believing the lies that fell from her lips.
"I mean she wasn't like... the worst, she just..." He paused, unsure on how he much he should actually tell the other. "She was just never the motherly figure most people have, I guess. I mean, she was more invested in the fame than she ever was invested in me." Diego shrugged his shoulders, a hand running through his hair. "I don't know if I can be mad at you, I don't even know your side of the story, I don't even know if anything she told me is true."
"Both, please. I like sugary coffee, I drink a lot of it. Probably too much, honestly, but I have a sweet tooth," Diego half rambled, a smile on his lips. "I've never actually put that in coffee before, honestly." He admitted. "I always used to hate messing things up for them, I'd often try and help them tidy when I was younger," A small laugh escaped his lips. "It'd be nice to get to know you too. I just don't want to force you into anything."

"I had an emergency pop up last minute, and I thought I'd be kind and shower before showing up," Manu couldn't help but flash the other a smile, taking a seat across from the other. "I'd have called if I had to cancel or sent someone to keep you company."

"Or engaged, preferably someone that is single single," he added, recalling the events from last year's engagement party. "I'm not sure there's much anyone can do, for now, I get to live life as someone's dirty little secret." Manu couldn't help the small chuckle, though there was a bitterness to it. Despite knowing it wasn't the same, with Diego popping up and reminding him of his ex, he couldn't help but feel history repeating itself some. "That is, yes, though perhaps don't have the first date at your place, I've heard people talk about this being a red flag. I have, though I've tried to erase it from my memory. It's painful."
“Right, no married people,” Rafe nodded, before sighing. “I know you don’t reject it, Manu, you don’t have to explain yourself to me, ever. You know that. I wish I could help somehow.” He admitted, shrugging his shoulders slightly. “Make sure they don’t steal my silverware again, that’s definitely a bonus. Also, have you seen me trying to have a conversation? I always say dumb shit, to you it’s endearing, to most people, they think I’m batshit.”

"I'm not sure, though I have definitely thought about it. I just don't know if a judge will rule in my favor over his," Eddy admitted, tucking strands of hair behind her ear. "Perhaps, but the thought that she might end up with a bag to bury kind of terrifies me. I don't want her to end up in prison." She couldn't help but joke, though part of her was somewhat convinced it might end that way if Agnes had a say. "I don't know, I thought if I replied that maybe he would take a hint and stop, but...I, I don't know what he's capable of." Should Eddy mention that she bumped into him the other day? Perhaps, but she instead decided against it, he was insistent that it was pure coincidence.
"That's fucking stalking. Can you not get a restraining order?" Diego muttered, pulling out his own phone to google it. "Oh if anyone deserves that woman's wrath, it's that asshole." Diego mused, shooting a smile at his friend. "Why did you reply, Eds? Just ignore the idiot. Block him. Yeah that's true, and you absolutely can, but you shouldn't have to fight this battle. He should take a hint."

"If only it were that easy, I swear that man was written by Jane Austen or something," Eddy couldn't help the small chuckle, though in all honesty, it was hard not to be envious. "Yeah I walked into that one unintentionally," they admitted, shaking their head ever so slightly. "Oh my goodness, you sound just like Agnes, can't I keep something to myself for now? I don't want to jinx it, but I can assure you she's nothing like...him." Eddy slipped out with a grimace. "You're so dramatic!" They blurted out, glad for a quick subject change. "Maybe I'm enjoying have a conversation with my brother, I'll do it in a bit...once I can figure out words."
“One day I’ll find myself a man that looks at me the way he looks at Astrid,” Will sighed. “Thank you– though dear god, never mention Agnes and handcuffs in the same sentence ever again,” He shuddered, mocking a gagging sound. “Ooooh, what’s her name? What does she do? What’s he star sign?” He questioned teasingly. “Oh. Yes. Several someones. My self control, my pride and most importantly, my heart,” He replied, only half sarcastically. “Well what you doing listening to me mope? Go text her, go for drinks or food or whatever women do on dates.”

"It would certainly make for entertaining television, though," Eddy couldn't help but mirror the other's laugh, their eyes lighting up the more they talked to the other. "I am curious as to what might be worse, though that does sound like second date talk…" the words slipped off her tongue without warning and once she realized what she said, the color on her cheeks darkened. "Oh they're absolutely delicious! You have to try them."
“Oh my parents definitely couldn’t,” Sofia laughed, “I think if they saw my apartment these days, they’d have a heart attack.” After leaving home, she’d essentially had to start over with barely anything after living in luxury the entire time. “Oh, I’ve seen worse things than feet,” She mused, “Maple cinnamon rolls? I can’t say I’ve tried them.”

An amused grin cracked onto his features, amusement lingering as he moved around the flat to make the other something to eat whilst the coffee finished. "She does have a twisted way of convincing you things are a good idea, but I think what you guys both forget at times is we're getting older not younger." He teased, knowing very well it could've been him though he hadn't made the time to go out in the way he used to. "If someone had, I don't think you'd be sitting there, but once we get one of my bacon sandwiches in you and some coffee, we'll be much better."

A groan slipped from Kevin's lips as he rests his forehead against the cold surface of the table, staring at the coffee in front of him. "Why," Kevin began, finally lifting his head to look at his best friend across the table, "Did I let Juliet convince me that many drinks was a good idea? It feels like someone's taken a tiny jackhammer to my skull." He pouted, reaching for his coffee.

"Perhaps not," he admitted with a mirrored smile. "One can dream," Willie couldn't help but taunt the other. "Mostly jokes, it is nice to see you, man. How have you been?"
"Oh please, you really think my family would let me stay away forever?" Iggy grinned, "I'm back permanently now. At least, for a while anyway."

"Oh, well perhaps I should've made a point to call beforehand," though that would've defeated the point of a surprise visit, she did have a genuine need for the visit beyond just wanting to see the other. "If you wouldn't mind, though I can understand if I'm not exactly the...target audience here." Zuri admitted with a faint blush caressing her cheeks. "Everything is beautiful, though I've never really found myself to be a jewelry person, aside from my old locket." She admitted, lifting the pendant in question.
"Ah," The woman smiled, slipping her phone into her back pocket. "Yes, he had to step out for a moment or so. Didn't give too many details, however I'm sure he'll be back soon, so you're welcome to wait around if you wish." Feyza's eyes scanned her shop, making sure to double check there was no other customers that needed her attention. "Anything caught your eye?"

There was something comforting about somethings never changing despite the time spent apart. "Well I've got a gig to open up for Walk The Moon at a festival in about a week, it's only doing a few songs but it can open the door for endless opportunity." Vetty couldn't help but blurt out, pulling their hand back. "I also hope that you trust I would never truly jeopardize anything that makes you this happy, no matter how sickening it might be. No, but they were adamant that I take a plane...so now they're sort of rubbing the fact that I didn't listen in my face."
“Oh? Care to elaborate?” Mase grinned, eyebrows arching upwards. Linking their pinkies together, Mase let out a laugh. “It’s been too long since we’ve pinky promised over something. Oh I don’t doubt it, I just trust my wife. Well, it’s not something that can be helped, surely your manager knows that?”

"I definitely should, but seeing as they cost money, I have yet to bite the bullet. I am sure I'll find an alternative on Amazon." AJ countered. She knew she ought to prioritize herself, but money was tight. "I mean it's enough to keep up with both her and Gigi, though I will say, we're lucky to have never known what a boring life is." She chuckled. "Oh, that's what I smell, well I can't say I necessarily mind if it means fresh Mandoo." She flashed a smile. "Rich people, apparently."
“You should probably see a chiropractor,” Will pointed out. “Oh she definitely doesn’t, how I wish I could be like that but also, the world does not need more than one Agnes.” He shuddered, before shrugging. “I think she was making Mandoo, Robyn asked for it. You know she dotes on my daughter more than anyone,” He laughed. “I– Who the hell needs a portable towel warmer?”

"Likely a man with an ego too big for him to handle hoping to mansplain how to fill a tank to the first person that catches his eye. I'm sure he was convinced he was doing me a favor," Vetty couldn't help but slip out, an annoyed chuckling slipping out. "Thank you, though, I do have a feeling I could've handled him, I'm not entirely sure the cashier in there would be fond of me spraying them with gasoline. It was tempting, though."
Spotting the scene, Maze rolled their eyes, making their way over. "Hey, dude, if you wanna go take that passive aggressive macho energy somewhere else, that'd be great," They faked a grin at the stranger, waiting for him to finally get a hint before walking off. "Yeesh, what was his deal?"

A relieved sigh escaped him, a smile complimenting it at the positivity from the other. "That's wonderful, I've only heard great things about you and your designs.." Alvin told them sincerely. "And if you have any additional ideas or suggestions, it'd be more than welcome, they'll be danced in, so movement is crucial. I'm Alvin, by the way." He added, realizing he hadn't introduced himself.
jean leaned forward and looked at the portfolio, running his fingers over a few of the pictures. "that is something i am more than capable of, yes." jean said, nodding his head. "these ideas are beautiful. i would love to help." he said. "thank you so much for considering us."
