Rp with Kuro and Lucius continued.
Lucius hummed softly as he gazed at Kuro. Opening his mouth only to allow harsh words leave his lips. "You can't turn back now that you're one of us. You'll have to watch everyone wither away around you. It wasn't asked for in my case either but we have to deal with it, the cruelty that was placed on us by others. We just have to make most of what we have currently..."
Lucius saw Kuros sadness and he felt a pang run through his heart, he cleared his throat before placing a hand on Kuros cheek.
"Worry not. Your family will be safe, the elementals tell me so. I'll help you however I can, if you feel any sort of thirst just call me. If you need me at all, just call me." Lucius ran his thumb across the smooth skin before looking up at Kuro with a supportive look. It wasn’t all so bad. Lucius got to watch Nina and William grow and he could make sure his brothers decendants were well taken care of. It was the only thing that really gave his life purpose even after all these years.

Hiya,
Due to health issues I need to take a couple of days to figure out how to overcome some obstacles to become healthy again.
Unfortunately while I was in urgent care they said I may need to come back to take more tests, but I will communicate with whomever I am roleplaying/interacting with of what's going on and so forth. So if you see that I am a bit on and off frequently, I am terribly sorry.
My chats are still open if you'd like to chat with me and perhaps plan something for the future! Feel free to ask for my discord!

"Then Kuro, word from the wise. You should watch out for yourself." Lucius tilted his head, staring at Kuro. "It's sweet that you'd sacrifice yourself for the sake of your family, I understand that. But you have to understand why I am weary. I know how to control my impulses as I’ve lived for quite a while. But I'm not so quite sure about you. So I'll offer you the very same thing. If you are craving to quench your thirst, I'll allow you to take part in my own.” Lucius crossed his arms with a small huff, slightly offended that he was pegged as some sort of predator. He definitely had more class than that, and manners for that matter. “Are you not afraid that you may lose control and attack your loved ones? I may be assuming but, you seem to be what you call fresh meat in regards to being one of us."
Night had fallen, Lloyd lay fast asleep in his bed while Cho curled up on the couch her book lay open on her chest. Where was Kuro? The sly man had waited in silence, sitting in the kitchen just watching for the moment his sister had finally fallen asleep. Seeing how the time had come, the male quietly stood up and crept towards the front door. It wasn’t too hard to navigate, the curtains had been taken down to wash earlier in the day so the moonlight was free to leak through the windows like waves.
Dough brown eyes darted back and fourth before bit by bit the front door was open. He felt bad for always creeping out at night, or at least he did in the beginning. Now after so many years it had become second nature, the night was his freedom, the dark meant he could stop hiding. Didn’t you find it odd how Kuro wasn’t one for speaking? Well perhaps it was his nature, maybe his sister just liked speaking for him… Or maybe he had something to hide.
“Freedom..” Soft lips parted to reveal a rather sharp pair of fangs, his breath visible in the cold night’s air. Sadness washed over his face, he was free to be himself but no-one to share it with. Sure his sister and friend were there for him but he was too scared to tell them what his true nature had become, being something supernatural wasn’t something to easily admit to. At least not in Kuro’s case. Sighing, the man tucked his hands into his waist coat before striding his way off the farm. He didn’t suck blood, at least not too often, no he just liked to roam beneath the moonlight free to talk as much as he wanted even if there was no-one to listen.
“ Halloween is over.. Another year I managed to hide the secret. Well done Kuro.. Father would be proud.” His voice was deep, rough but it was still laced with kindness. He knew he was different, but he still loved himself, he still tried to show himself kindness. His father was the only one who knew the truth of course he would, who else would he go to? It was a bonus that his father was a doctor, as it stood now the old timer was working hard to find a way to turn Kuro back hence why the twins moved to the farm, so it would be easier for him to hide. Cho didn’t know that of course.
Approaching the forest, Kuro stretched. He was a vampire, he had the fangs but there was more to it. The male was strong as an ox, able to lift two or more people at once, if he wished he could moved faster than the eye could track. But he didn’t wish, Kuro was quiet and slow, the laid back type though he would still yeet you across the land if you asked. He found himself approaching the dock at the forest’s lake, settling on the slowly rotting wooden planks creaking under his weight, feet brushing the waters surface. “I wonder how others would react.. Father took it well.” Mumbling, his head tilted to look at the dark skies above, stars twinkling to light up the countryside. It was just him and.. He was so lonely.

Lucius watched as the tall male brush his fringe from his eyes, meeting his gaze before Kuro looked away in a nonchalant manner. “I don’t have to be a stranger, dear stranger.” Lucius gave him toothy grin. “Can’t sleep? Well, you could say I’m quite nocturnal myself.” Lucius slid over to stand next to Kuro, his arms behind his back. “My family, it is very much the same for me. Don’t you know the nights are dangerous for such youth?” Lucius didn’t return Kuros gaze. Instead staring out at the lake with a dangerous glint. Watching the calm ripples of the life filled lake. “The night is when we feed. When there are dangerous creatures in the night, our families should stay indoors. Don’t you think?” Lucius turned to face Kuro, “Please excuse me for my rude behavior, I believe my introduction is long overdue.” He gave Kuro a curt bow before glancing up with a smirk. “My name is Lucius Goodhue. It is a pleasure to meet someone much like myself.”

Lucius was in the forest, up in the trees. He had not much to do as he would like, all the farm work had been done and he had already gone through the mines today. His thoughts were quickly interrupted by a voice. He peered down the tree to see a male with dark locks of curly hair walk down to the forests lake. Catching sight of fangs his curiosity was piqued for better or for worse. He silently climbed down from the tree he was in and silently came up behind Kuro. Now threat or friend, which are you. “Hoooh, and what secret would that be?” Lucius spoke up suddenly, standing behind Kuro with a smirk. “Tell me.. Why are you out here all alone?”
Night had fallen, Lloyd lay fast asleep in his bed while Cho curled up on the couch her book lay open on her chest. Where was Kuro? Age: 23
Birthday: Summer 24
Romantic/Sexual preference: Bisexual
Height: 6’0 or 6’3 with heels
Personality: Nina is what everyone sees as an independent woman who doesn’t need a man in her life. She’s graceful and completes her goals no matter how much time, sweat and tears she will have to put into a project. She’s emotionally strong, but still desires a significant other to share her life and heart. Despite her inexperience, with her future partner her mind would quite often be in the gutter due to the many erotic novels she reads. Loves: Prismatic Shard, Peaches, Honey Likes: Milk, Tea
Dislikes: Bait
Hates: Cauliflower, power struggles
History: Nina grew up wealthy, her parents owned a very large company in Zuzu City. Though they were very old fashioned. So once her brother was born, it was pretty much decided then that William was going to inherit the company as the only son in the family despite Nina being the first born. The way they were raised were both very harsh in their own way, Nina being forced to take the back seat even though she was very capable and independant. She eventually got tired of being made to feel second best despite all her efforts just because she was a woman. And she soon bought land in the valley to live on her own and without expectations of her parents.

The pressure on him was far too much than he could handle for himself but he hung in there. Only when his parents brought a girl over and saying that he was going to have to marry her for the business partnership did he finally run away to Honey Bear Farm. Working was one thing but being forced to love someone he knew he wasn’t going to have a happy marriage with no matter what, was what led him to run away.

Lucius Bio
Name: Lucius Goodhue
Gender: Male
Age: ??? (Vampire)
Birthday: ???
Romantic/Sexual preference: Pansexual
Height: 5’5
Personality: Lucius is a bit jaded and tended to stay in the shadows. However he is kind and caring, and loyal. His naivety gets him into trouble quite frequently.
Loves: Octopus, Squid, Lobster, Blood Likes: Purple Mushroom, Void Essence
Dislikes: Solar Essence, Parsnip
Hates: HorseRadish, Fish Taco
History: This story is quite the long one. A long long time ago, Lucius was once human. He and his brother were starting up a company and everything was lined up for the both of them. They both had lovers, his brother just had gotten married, and his brother’s wife had a life growing within her. They just needed one last contract in order for success, for a better life for their family. Lucius went to a meeting, his brother unable to go with him. It was alright, Lucius was determined to close this deal. When the contract was in front of him to close the deal for their success, Lucius did not hesitate to sign with the feather and ink. The man in front of him had black hair as the night and vivid red eyes. It sent chills down his spine once he caught sight of the males grin, and his rather sharp canines. It was sudden when he was pulled across the table, pinned down as the man pierced his neck with his fangs. Lucius couldn’t bring himself to move as he whimpered before he blacked out. When he awoke he was in bed, bolting up he sped to the mirror and sure enough there were marks on his neck. He looked up and paled when he saw his scarlet eyes. And the creeping thirst he was feeling. His brother held him in sorrow, Lucius’ humanity was stolen from him in exchange for their success.
Lucius lover didn’t leave him, but she aged as he didn’t. It broke him as Lucius watched her wither away with age, they had not even had any children. She could not since from the beginning she was not able to conceive. His brother who was on his deathbed himself told Lucius that their family descendants would take care of him as he was the one who sacrificed everything for his family. From then on he became the secret of the Goodhue family.
For a long while he tried to find his lover as she was reincarnated but over and over, found out that she was with another man, with a family. Eventually Lucius stopped seeking her out after all the endless hurt and pain of his lovers soul not remembering him. He soon dedicated himself to his family and now he watches over William who reminds him of his old self and Nina who fills him with joy as he didn’t feel so alone anymore in terms of looks.

History: Touma barely got any support from his parents for his dream. To have his music be heard by many different kinds of people. Touma had to struggle to find a place where he could belong. The place he found himself was in a band called “Thorned Fates.” Scott had brought him in after they met at one of the venues for the indie rock shows they had around. Touma had finished up a solo with his guitar and his voice when Scott had approached him with the offer to join the band. It was later when Scott asked him out, his parents disowned him and kicked him out for being with another man. It was fine at that time, Scott let him live with him. He did all the cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping and even held a part time job. Though his world came crashing down when he witnessed his boyfriend cheating on him. When he brought up the affair to Scott’s attention, Scott lashed out and started to punch Touma, and even slamming him into walls. The bruises didn’t go unnoticed, Kian, Toumas best friend often helped him take care of his wounds. Lest he under performs at a concert and gets more wounds because of it. Kian told him on multiple occasions to leave Scott, but Touma made excuses for Scott. “He’s not a bad guy! I’m sure he just had another off day.” One day it just got too much for Touma, he finally told Scott that they’d break up. But he was easily lured back in with sweet words which sparked hope. They had a rather big gig coming up, once they finished the band went their own separate ways. Touma went to hang out with Kian for a bit but when he got home he found his things on the curb. He rushed up to the front door only to find it locked. It sunk in when he read the note, ‘Don’t show up here or for the band. You’re out. -Scott.’ His heart dropped to his stomach, only realizing now he didn’t have anywhere to go. That was when he lost both his dream and his heart shattered. Touma was lucky that Kian was always so kind to him and his brother also allowed him to crash at their place. Touma getting a job at Joja as a call center representative for full time hours since he didn’t want to just mooch off of Kian. Touma couldn’t lie to himself, he was tired, lonely and stressing out from the terrible working environment at Joja. He felt miserable. Kians brother Jasper had been deployed to the Gotoro Empire war soon after he started working at Joja. After a year passed Touma finally had enough and decided to move to his grandfather’s farm since it was the only other place to try to be happy. Touma sold his motorcycle so he could use the extra money on the farm. It was worth a shot. A brand new beginning in a brand new place sounded like just the thing to help him. Soon after he decided to name the farm, farm euphoria. Because he wanted to chase after the lost feeling.

Touma’s favorite fishing spots tend to be the far left dock by the large rock at the ocean and the mountain lake near where Abigail typically plays her flute. Touma feels like he has the most fishing luck around these places.
