Having the time of my life with Batman and Robin: Year One.

I know that its fairly common for Jason to have blue eyes that turn green when the pit is active, but I support that Jason's eyes are just bright green now. They don't necessarily glow all the time, but they are notably green.

The first time that Jason takes his helmet off in front of the family after his resurrection Dick won't stop staring at him and Bruce keeps glancing at him when he thinks Jason can't see it.

Jason starts taking off his helmet less because the blatant reminder that he came back different, changed, wrong.

Then Damian shows up and starts talking about how both of them inherited their mother's eyes (he refuses to listen to anyone trying to tell him it doesn't work that way)

Slowly but surely, when Jason takes off his helmet and looks in the mirror, instead of seeing wrongness staring back at him, all he can see is his baby brother's eyes.

The only adult Dick knows in this manor is Bruce, beside Alfred that now is busy in the kitchen. So, with a ripped Robin cape, little Dick waddles to Bruce in front of the Bat computer.

"Dad– ehm, Batman i need my cape fixed."

Bruce looked at the ripped cape, "go get my sewing kit."

this happened several times til he decided to get rid of the cape in his new costume (yes, the discowing).

years later, Dick comes back to Bruce, who's sitting in front of the Bat computer. he holds Damian's ripped cape.

Dick smiles as he walks to the tired bat, feeling deja vu. he touches his chair, "Dad, i need Dami's cape fixed."

Bruce looked a little surprised, then he's smiling. "you silly," he takes the cape from Dick. "go get my sewing kit."

more years later, Dick gets a seat in front of the Bat computer. he's tired and worn out. taking off the Bat cowl, he looks down to his ripped cape.

"Dad, i.. need your cape fixed.." he sighs in between the silences, "... I'll go get your sewing kit."

i will forever stand by the fact that if Dick has eldest daughter syndrome then Jason has irresponsible estranged aunt syndrome.

Dick, to Damian: you have to hold my hand when we cross the street.

Damian: Richard-

Dick: LOOK BOTH WAYS

*meanwhile, two blocks away while Jason lets Tim do donuts on his motorcycle*

Jason, to Tim: yeah i can get us some weed. you know me and Roy used to take edibles and then take a bunch of paintball guns to an old abandoned railroad to role play as war veterans in the middle of a high-stakes battle, it’s so fucking fun i gotta teach you and Dami sometime, just don’t tell Dick or Bruce-

Tim: *starry eyed, listening with awe*

Jason is literally the strongest member of batfam after Bruce. Literally. And I'm not saying this lightly. He once beat the whole batfam like it was drinking water. HE BEAT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.
