“Oh, thanks.” Not that he knew what exactly a house of guidance was, but asking might get him some weird looks. A glance over when he heard the call, before turning his attention back to the girl.
“Traveler, yeah.” The monsters around here aren’t too much trouble, luckily for him. “You’re on a journey too, I’m guessing?”
“Yes, I am. I hope that I will be able to complete it.” A bright smile as she rested her hand against the cruxis crystal that sat embedded in her collar bone. If she completes this journey then everyone would be happy and that was all she could ask for.

“You could say that.” He didn’t really get why the people he met on the road had been staring at his ears. They weren’t that out of place here, right?
“Mind telling me where I am right now?”
“Where we are? The house of Guidance between Triet and Iseilia. I sit nearby a desert.” A small frown formed on her lips as she heard the calling of one of her accompanying Priest.
“You are a traveler yes? Or maybe a mercenary?” she asked, eyes flicking down to his sword.
