One of the biggest issues of moving to England as a person who is Ukrainian AND neurodivergent is not knowing how to answer the small talk question of "how are you", but today I was reminded that Ukrainian blessed me with the phrase that roughly translates as "living is hard but dying would be a pity" and can we please naturalise it so I can use it all day every day

You might not want to hear this but people with anger issues and/or violent impulses need social accommodations. And no by accommodation I don't mean walking on eggshells around them, actual accommodations for people with these issues comes down to giving them a space away from what's triggering them to process their emotions and calm themselves down same as what kind of accommodations people who get sensory overload or just any kind of overwhelmed. There is no moral value to having anger issues or violent impulses, people with them are deserving of accommodation the same as everyone else.

I've always hated Allura for what they did to her. I think her character was so poorly done and two-dimensional. I much prefer the way people write for her rather than the character herself. I hate that she was reduced to "love interest". Twice. I hate that she was barely explored as a paladin except for like one episode. Honestly, I think my problem with her was that she wasn't flawed enough.

I've always wanted her to have more conflict, and more of a chance for her altean origin to shine through. I think she deserves the same treatment as the others, especially Lance. She wakes up to her family gone, poof, is given so much responsibility as not only the last member of her race, but surviving royalty! There are so many fics about Lance being homesick but I never see it for Allura. Let her be homesick, let her breakdown in the middle of a meeting because the sight of Galrans pisses her off. The last thing she remembers is her planet being destroyed, she has not had a second to process anything! I love the idea of her pretending to be put together and brave but having small things set her off because they remind her of home and she can't take it anymore.

Another character I feel people neglect is Coran, which is so heartbreaking because the two of them have the best family dynamic potential (think how people write Keith and Shiro as brothers) and he's always an after thought. Don't even get me started on her... ending, we'll say. She deserves happiness, they all do damnit 😡😡

Ok so I know traffic SMP isn’t actually that lore heavy outside of Martyns stuff but I find it insanely interesting that both servers where watchers/listeners were involved (Evo and the Life series) feature Jimmy being incredibly unlucky. It’s like these Erdrich beings personally have it out for him and I’m here for it.
