I think a lot of aces don't get that ace discourse wasn't just your run-of-the-mill aphobia.

It was a targeted harassment campaign orchestrated by TERFs to cause LGBT community infighting. And they were successful in pushing back the aspec community's progress in visibility and conversation, causing infighting in the broader LGBT community, and even causing infighting in the aspec community itself.

It's been about 6 years since the decline of ace discourse, and in that time we have not managed to move past aspec community infighting over assimilation to prevent that kind of harassment versus actually being ourselves and making progress as a community.

Every single "but aces can have sex too" and "but aros can have romantic relationships too" and "well we don't experience that much oppression" and every time an aspec meme is called "cringe", that's all assimilationist bullshit sourced from people trying to cater to the people who only wanted to crush us.

Newsflash: we're all queer in the eyes of society. We will never conform to their standards as they exist today. We need to stop the infighting and redirect towards breaking down amatonormativity and compulsory sexuality, as a united front.

Logan watching Wade tick over into most feared and ruthless mercenary the first time and almost exploding.

Objectively he knows that Wade is good. Hell he fought him he knows he's good. And he also knows he's a Merc duh.

But not once before now had he seen Wade drop the goofy attitude to this extent and become an apex predator.

Logan fucked up on a hit and Wade is livid about it.

Pinning him to a wall and threatening him.

"Do you have any idea how hard he'll be to track again? That's a paycheck Howlett and you let it run."

Logan isn't sure if he should be angry or not. What he is feeling is a bit scared and a lot turned on

"You might tag along for this. But it's my name on that hit, if you fuck it up? It reflects on me. I'm not about to let you lose me my reliability. I don't fail jobs."

That's what he's known for after all. He gets paid the big bucks because with enough money and information he will do damn near anything and it will get done.

The hand he has on baby knife twitching in restraint does not help the situation in the slightest.

This isn't Wade this is Deadpool and Deadpool is terrifying.

Logan is quite a fan of being pinned by Wade and Wade knows it. He does it often to mess with him, but this is not like that. There is no intent behind it this time other than blood boiling anger.

Wade even pulls a gun on him has the muzzle press on his forehead. Logan knows there's adamantium bullets in there, he knows it can actually kill him.

Wade has a sneer so harsh that can be seen through the mask. The fact there's also no teasing in the tone it's bone dry. Nothing but genuine dark anger.

It feels like a kick in the pants honestly and it's a sharp reminder that Wade is in fact unstable.

He turns on his heel releasing Logan and Logan just crumples into the floor. He's beyond flustered and is unsure what to do about it. Mainly because Wade seems to be the least interested he's maybe ever been...and also really fucking mad at him

Now since I'm going to be down two of my three current roleplay partners (🙃) throwing this out there to anyone who is interested:

Looking for a roleplay partner (or two) for Poolverine. Long term preferably. If we click, I'm someone that kind of gets settled down and gets comfy.

Minimum of three to four paragraphs is preferred. Longer is fine. Literate of course. I've done this for 10+ years so I'm plenty experienced. Third person pov only.

Active/serious players only please. One reply a day is all I ask (it can be more of course). If life happens, I won't be mad, even I get days where I don't touch Tumblr, but leaving me for a week in between isn't going to work.

I would like to play Logan/Wolverine, as I am more experienced with him, so I'm looking for someone to play Wade/Deadpool.

For story plot I'm thinking a continuation of the Deadpool and Wolverine movie. Like these two are living together and it's a slow burn, slow romance building bond between them as they adjust to this new lifestyle, and Logan adjusts to this new timeline. I love drama so don't be shy.

If there are any other plot ideas you have in mind, I'm open to discussing them!
