Nintendo is a bunch of pissy money grubbing bastards. This has nothing to do with content but the fact that they're afraid you're making money off their shit. It all started with "Get it on like Donkey Kong", a phrase they never created but now own because it contains a copyright name. All they want is money. They care nothing about fans unless those fans and giving them cash.

No longer doing Nintendo fanart!

As you guys might be aware, Nintendo of America has been doing copyright claims on hentai fanart of their IPs here on tumblr. Nintendo has been stingy with copyright for a while on various places, that’s no news. So I’ll have to stop drawing Nintendo fanart. That means no more Metroid, Pokemon, Zelda, all that jazz. I removed any previous drawings I could find of those properties from my main blog (I’ll also be purging the tags and removing them from my side blogs soon). You can always find those works on Dan/Gelbooru, Sankaku or whatever – they are not gone from the Internet.

Usually big IP holders tend to leave fanart of their properties alone. It’s grey area and they have every right to take it down, but tackling it tends to bring more trouble than benefit. It’s usually seen as kind of an attack on your own fanbase, specially when there’s no profit associated… That is unless it’s porn. Since it’s been cool to hate on porn again lately we’re in this situation without any catchy sounding jingle campaign to help us. /: I’m not gonna be the one to challenge it, I like having a blog and I’m in the wrong for all intents and purposes in this situation. No rest for the wicked.

So I’m finishing whatever ‘thing’ I might be working on that involves Nintendo characters (after all, it’s a work in progress and it’s been promised for months now to you guys and my Patreon backers), but after it, as I said, I’ll not be drawing any Nintendo property fanart again. Just to be safe.

I’m super sorry for any fans of Nintendo hentai out there (I know I have quite a few of you following me), the big N doesn’t want you fapping to Princess Peach anymore – but there’s always another castle! ;) No hard feelings on my part, personally. I grew up with the Genesis… I guess that explains a lot! :P

The facts are these: Disney has no intention of releasing a complete series set of Gravity Falls. Alex Hirsch has expressed on several occasions how he wishes it wasn’t so. Alex, like many of us, is a consumer— Would LOVE to have a series DVD/Blu-Ray box set. A set with every episode, every short, the mini-sodes (like “Old Man McGucket’s Conspiracy Corner”, “Shop at Home With Mr. Mystery”, etc.), commentary, extras, the whole works!

But Disney doesn’t think there will be a market for physical copies in the future, so they just don’t bother with their television properties.

Here’s what we can do to let them know otherwise: We’ve started a letter writing campaign to Gary Marsh, President and Chief Creative Officer for Disney Channels Worldwide. (Don’t worry, we’ve heard he’d be fine with it.)

Us fans have to let Disney know that we want this product. That if they make it available we’d be willing to pay for what Alex would honestly love to give us!
