It makes me sad to say, but over the last few days I’ve made the decision to close Hope Springs. It’s been 6 months filled with lots of ups and downs, but as my first time admining a Tumblr RP and one that I was not supposed to be sole admin of, all things considered I think it went well. I want to thank you all for joining, and I hope you enjoyed it here. Current members, feel free to continue to RP on the dash, if you want.

Hey!

I had a completely crazy day yesterday, and am going to be out of town most of today signing my lease and things. Any apps, asks, etc will get taken care of probably on Friday.

I got the apartment I wanted! That being said, I’m going to be moving in July and have a lot to do between now and then. Because of that, there will be no events for June or July other than the usual Frolic Night and weekly Farmer’s Market. Thank you for understanding.

Summer has always had a fairly normal childhood. She was born an only child to two Switch parents, who had great respectful jobs and loved her very much. Summer was always a loud and creative child, always finding a way to always get what she wanted. So she was very surprised when she took her test when she was 14 and found out that she was a Sub.

But in the end it all made sense to her. She actually loved being a Sub. The need she constantly had to be dominated was so excited and thrilling that she couldn’t get enough of it, whether it was sexual or not.

When she was growing up Summer always wanted to become a nurse. She had studied long and hard at school and had big plans to go to college, but she and her family were struggling a lot with money issues, and Summer decided that she needed to put her plans on hold for a while. And then word on the street was that she could make some good money by becoming a professional Sub, have people pay her for being a Sub for them.

So that’s what Summer did, became a professional Sub. And she hasn’t stopped since. She loves her job and can’t think of anything better to be doing with her life. Then heard that Hope Springs was now the place to be, to meet new friends and have new adventures. So here she is, a new place to explore and continue her new career.

Juniper use to be such a sweet little girl, always exploring their mother’s farm with her older sister and younger brother. Except the world took that sweet innocence from her when she was ten, when she lost her mother. It was Christmas day, and it was no secret they were leaving for a few days to spend the holiday with their father - his business called for travelling on occasion, and he’d meet them at the cabin. The weather held them back that night, meaning they were home when an intruder entered. Not expecting anyone home, the man in the mask shot off his gun, hitting her mother. The next thing she knew, there was smoke as the man knocked a candle into a curtain, and the fire was catching quickly. That night, as the flames engulfed the darkening sky, their mother died from blood loss, smoke inhalation, and burns - as she lay over her three children to try and protect them. It was what saved them, but not without leaving Juno without burn scars of her own.

From then on, Juno and her sister grew up solely with their father - a rather dominant man who was fair, but also busy and hard to please. It left the Roe children with each other to rely on, when all the needed was their father. Needless to say, it hardened Juniper and made her cold. For the next two years, Juno was too angry to care about getting close to their father and always getting into fights, only staying close to her siblings, even if she appeared shut off. Eventually, something clicked, and she started pulling herself together, taking martial arts classes a few times a week - revenge was on her mind, but also fear, so she’d learn to fight and protect herself. So when the day came if she ever saw that face again, she’d kill him. By the time she was sixteen, managed a fake ID and began dancing at strip clubs, wanting to save up for college, and eventually becoming an exotic dancer at a gentlemen’s club in Oakcliff Park years later.

It took years for her personality to settle down some, going to college and taking full course loads, and evening opening up to a few potential claims that never panned out - but in the end, she managed to get over her rather intense fear of fire, and become a firefighter. She’s considered to be a strict Dominant, and a little hard to read - often guarded still and rather stubborn; it’s easier for her to communicate through actions more than doing so verbally. Although, she’s fiercely loyal, protective, and observant, as well. But as much as Juno enjoys being rough, she discovered she also had a rather soft spot for Littles.
