An underpaid worker speaks up about the PTSD they got from working in the horrific conditions of a dirty slaughterhouse and cleaning congealed blood off of the floor every day and yāall are silent.
But someone says āI donāt want to support an industry that gives itās workers PTSD as well as killing animalsā and yāall suddenly claim we donāt care about those workers. When yāall are the ones providing the demand that that worker is supplying.
I understand that not everyone can go vegan. Health conditions exist. Eating disorders exist. Poverty exists. In places like Alaska fresh fruit and vegetables are extremely expensive. I know that and reconize that not everyone can or should be vegan. I just want people to acknowledge that they eat the same vegetables from the same farmers that you say vegans donāt care about.

There are a lot of times I feel like justā¦flipping the vegan script.
Itās not āpolyesterā itās plastic
Itās not āvegan leatherā itās plastic
Its not āfaux furā itās plastic
Plastic is a pollutant and causes far more damage to the environment both now and in the future than leather or wool.
Please stop telling me that the Plastic Lyfe is the only life, it is not. My leather shoes will last a decade where pleather is lucky to last 12 months. Leather (and wool) decompose and are renewable. Plastic is neither of those.

No offence, but how are eating meat and animal cruelty related? Kind of unfair to lump the animal abusers and most of the population together
I donāt like to talk about this on my main blog.But I think that hanging an animal upside down and slitting its throat while it screams for its life till it bleeds out and dies is animal creutly.Not to mention how they are treated when their aliveControversial opinion I know.No one likes to think they partake in animal abuse but.. thatās what happens and I want to distance myself from that world as much as I can.Factory farms exsist because the demand for meat is so high.You can argue for meat all day but Its cruel and nothing will change my mind.Sorry guys, I know Iāll lose followers for saying that but you asked
