Portals To Who Knows Where - Teleporters and Trash Chutes

Because A)Sims have poor stair management so I’ve decided to install some teleporters, and B) I find the idea of throwing trash into The Void hilarious.

Targa’s Ascension V2 “stairs” re-mapped and updated. Same mesh as the original, but it has been broken into two subsets: center and border. This gives it a greater recolor versatility.

Comes with a variety of simple and mystical recolors. 6 Woods, 3 metals, 2 stones, 8 Crystals, 11 magic circles, 10 galaxy, and the standard invisible.

It the same GUIDs as Targa’s original Ascension V2 stairs. I don’t intend to use the older version in favor of improved mapping on this one, so I saw no need to change it. Consequently that means the two will conflict and you’ll have to choose which one you want in your game.

Next is the Maxis Trash Chute Simplified. I took the maxis trash chute and simplified the mesh as well as remapped it to give it better use as well. It comes in two flavors, one with a door and one without a door. The one with the door acts as a MASTER to the one without.  It now has two subsets; the door and frame share a texture and then the inside.

Also comes with Too Many Recolors��. 6 wood with a metal bars, 6 wood without metal bars, 6 smooth woods, 3 smooth stones and  4 metals, 3 grated stones and 4 grated metals, with insides that are wood, stone, metal, or galaxy/elemental. Mix and match for maximum fun.

When you attempt to make one thing and end up with something else. I wanted to make a Cold War Eastern European home but ended up making something else instead. We have a Volvo and SAAB instead of a Lada or Skoda. Not done yet. I took a condo from Plesantview because it was already square and didn't need much other than new windows and sidding and an add on.

Finally! I thought I had finished this set last week but I started working on another sofa conversion when I had the idea to add another subset for recoloring purposes. That reduced 15 files to about 5 which made me think I should do that to other files in the set if possible. Well eventually after fixing shadows and moving a slot on the sofa, I’m satisfied with this conversion to the point of releasing it for download.

Recolorists:

Multipliers - These are good for maintaining the original shadows of the objects and I find these better then PSDs. Don’t know how to use them? Check out this tutorial HERE. (I didn’t include the pillows or blankets because they didn’t look good when created. 

Textures - I would use these to recolor the pillows, blankets and pouf. I would follow the tutorial created above but in place of using overlay use multiply. 

Issues:

No wall shadows (I tried but failed). 

The sofa has a ground shadow but it might be too light. It shows up in SimPe for me but its not apparent in my game. I will probably go back to fix this eventually but I don’t play with shadows so its not a priority as of yet.

No shadows on deco.

Only two slots on Coffee table.

kepler ct.

a set of unfurnished strangetown inspired family homes.

hello everyone! my first official post here is a gift of four lots i spent this weekend building. they range from 3 to 8 (... i know) bedrooms, and are meant to go together as a small 'neighborhood' of sorts.

in my own personal strangetown, i've used hoodreplacer to change the terrain (this one specifically) to have more roads available, so these were created for that in mind, however these lots could easily be used in any other setting you wish! i think they'd be super cute in the monty side of veronaville.

anyway... enough rambling here is some more info + photos of the lots!

500 followers Gift - Part 2 - Download 

I always have a lack of clothing for male and especially for the non-adults, so I decided to convert one of my favorite bottoms for adults. This is a convertion of Bunhead’s Shorts with all of her recolors as well as the recolors Needlecream made. There are 7 recolors, but tucked and untucked.

For psevere and anyone else who might want it, here’s this little house I built, now available for download. It’s medium-sized, built on a 2x3 lot. (It could be 2x2, if you want to shrink it, but that will leave you only 3 tiles of space in the back; I wanted more than that.) It has 3 decent-sized bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. I moved the family it was built for into it and played them for 3 Sim-days, and encountered no issues with anything, so it should be good to go. The uploaded copy has never been occupied.

All of the CC is included, with all extraneous recolors removed. The list/credits is behind the “Keep Reading” thing. Stuff that wouldn’t package is in a folder called “Extras.” If you don’t install or already have those files, the little square windows will flash blue, you’ll be missing the shake siding, the stairs might be FUBARed, and a bunch of stuff will be the wrong color. The lot was built with all EPs/SPs installed. I believe the tile wall in the bathrooms is from K&B. Other than that, I didn’t use anything from a stuff pack, but you will need all EPs and probably M&G for this lot to not make your game go crashy.

A couple of notes:

I have default replacement white roof edges in my game. If you don’t, then this lot won’t look so good with the nasty yellow-brown Maxis roof edges. (Seriously, what were they thinking?)

Driveway issues: I didn’t include an invisible driveway recolor; out of the box, the driveway pieces will be the Maxis concrete. Also, I have Mootilda’s Rotatable Driveway mod and HugeLunatic’s Rotatable Garage Door mod in my game. If you don’t have those mods, you may experience Driveway Weirdness. Installing the mods will normalize the weird.

Out of the box, the toilet in the upstairs bathroom will be green because I forgot to change it back to a Maxis color before I packaged the lot. I noticed it when I put it in my otherwise-CC-free neighborhood to test it but didn’t feel like going through packaging the damn thing again just to fix that. So, if you don’t want it to be green, change it to whatever color you like.

The roof, as advertised, is a bit wonky. It’s because part of it is constructed with a gable plus a gable-shed. The angles wouldn’t line up without wonkiness even when I fiddled with the pitches to five decimal places. So, it’s as good as it can be. Here’s a closer-up:

The same issue occurs on the back. It’s the best it can be, loves.

A fully furnished, modernist lot for Sims2. All cc and recolors are included, but you’ll need Buggy’s Kitchen Basic. I have UC on my computer. There’s a car and driveway, so NL is a must.

These are so pretty, and as a plant enthusiast irl, I just had to have them in my game! There’s 2 meshes, they can be found in Deco/Plants for §384 (yes, they’re a bit expensive, but since they’re so pretty I wanted them to have a higher room score so I went with a higher price), and they give nature enthusiasm when viewed. I cobbled together one recolor for each, using bits of texture from the other. They’re not drastically different (one has more purple/pink shades, the other has more blue/green), but it’s nice to have a bit of variety.

This set includes many windows&doors, four fences, a few buy&architecture objects and a functional microphone. Most of them should be base game compatible, however:

The fences require at least one EP.

The three tiles wide windows (including the round ‘walls’) require Open for Business.

The garage door requires Nightlife.

The microphone requires Apartment Life.

The download also includes a collection file. As I created it in an all EPs, all SPs game, it will not work for everyone.
