Hope Springs’ annual Farmer’s Market will be on the town square every Saturday from May 6th until November 4th. The Market will run from 8AM-2PM.
If you would like to have a booth for selling things, stop in the town hall to sign up for one.
The following things can be sold at the farmer’s market: fruits and vegetables, herbs, teas, honey, pesto, meats, bread and bakery, homemade items, etc.
Local businesses may also have a booth, if they want.
What may not be sold: alcoholic substances.

Price: 1-day pass $20 3-day pass $40 7-day pass $100 (Wristbands will be issued for re-admittance)
Rain or shine the music festival will happen! There is a stage for the artists to preform on and vendors will be selling common festival food and drinks. Alcoholic beverages will be served to those of legal drinking age.
There will be a seperate place on the beach where people can set up tents if they want to camp out for some or all of the festival. Outside of the festival hours you will need to provide your own food and drink, if you camp.

Due to the generous donations of Hope Springs residents, I am happy to say that for the time being we will be able to host Frolic Night free on the second Saturday of each month from 7PM to 1AM at the Event Hall in Edgewick Heights.
The event hall will have various sections such as: a littles area with toys and coloring books, a pet play area with pet toys, a massage area (you must arrange for someone to do the massaging), a quiet aftercare area, a lounge and snack area, a cuddle pile area, as well as various furniture like a bondage table, St. Andrews Cross, fucking machine, and others that various people have agreed to bring for anyone to use. If you have something you would not mind sharing, do feel free to bring it.
Though cost is free, it does take a lot to get ready. If anyone would be willing to help with set up and or take down at the end of the night, please contact me.
Some rules for Frolic Night:
No blood play, watersports, scat play, consensual non con, gangbangs, or takedown play without prior approval from the Organizer (Gabriel Lefevre).
Red will be the universal safeword. You may have another if you wish.
Everyone must respect everyone else at all times. If you are not being respectful, you may be asked to leave.
If someone is sceneing you may watch, but never interfere with someone else’s scene unless asked to do so or you hear Red.
All scenes and areas will be open to everyone. There is no closing off areas for private scenes.
Make sure when planning a scene with someone aftercare is discussed and planned.
After using something (toy, St. Andrew’s Cross, etc) please make sure it is clean using the cleaning supplies that will be provided.
Being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is not allowed while at Frolic Night. No alcohol will be served.

Renn Faire Feast!
The renaissance faire feast is tonight at 7pm in the town hall event space. The space would have been redecorated to fit with the faire theme. Long tables hold food that is being served banquet style. Tables have signs as to who sits where- not by name but by class/ rank in society. The King and Queen are with the knights, the nobles, princes, princess and other wealthy people are together, and then the peasants and servants.

The Faire has begun!
Feel free to make starters at the faire! I’m not posting pictures of what it would look like because all pictures I could find had people in them. If you don’t know what a Renn Faire would look like, feel free to ask and myself or others can try to explain it to you.
Remember that there are no electronics or any ‘modem’ devices at the faire. The exception being staff. There will be staff working security, medics, etc for safety reasons that will have walkie talkies. You can have your character there sometimes in that job, if they have the necessary background for it.
Please, please remember that all interaction while at the faire is face to face. Not everyone will be at the faire at the same time, nor is the fair open 24/7 so dash interaction can happen as well. So please make sure to put F2F in the title or tag it as rennfaire17 or something so that it is clear it is not on the dash.

The people of Hope Springs are invited to participate and attend the annual Hope Springs’ Renaissance Faire!
About the Faire:
The faire will take place in the town square and will run from April 2nd to April 9th. People will be able to dress in costumes, fill various roles, sell or buy food drink, and other handmade things that would have been available. No electronics (cell phones, tablets, computers etc) should be brought in to the faire. The faire will run from 8AM- 7PM each day.
Participation:
People are invited to fill many roles! King, Queen, Knights (may be any gender), court physicians, court jester, peasants, servants to the King, servants to the Queen, and more! All roles are open to people of any role. All roles except for King and Queen may have more than one person in that role. Please send in your top two choices to the event blog. Look the part, talk the talk, go all out!
King and Queen:
The King and Queen spots will only be filled by one person, and therefore that person should be available for a substantial amount of the time. The King and Queen slots will be filled by voting. If you wish to have one of these slots send a message in to the Hope Springs Event blog. You may promote yourself for King or Queen in any way that you wish.
Clothing:
Purple belongs to the King and Queen. Do not wear it if you are not royalty. Black, red, vivid jewel-tone colors belong to the nobility and extremely wealthy. Earth tones belong to everyone, most especially peasants. Your fabrics should be natural, breathable fibers. No synthetics. No velvet or silk for anyone but royalty, nobility and the wealthy commoners.Jewelry, fur and feathers belong to the very rich. Hats finish off the costume. Wear them for sun protection and for authenticity. Leather belongs to the lower classes, except for outdoor-wear shoes and gloves. Those leather items may be worn by everyone.
Roles and Forms of Address
While at the Renaissance Faire only, traditional roles (Dominant, Switch, sub) will not matter, what will matter is their role in the Renaissance society. Ex. A Dominant who is a knight would be expected to call the King and Queen by title and show them the due respect of their position.
Schedule of Events:
Sunday, March 26th- Saturday, April 1st - Sign up for roles in the faire
Thursday, March 30th and Friday, March 31st- voting for King and Queen
Saturday, April 1st- King and Queen announcement
The Faire will run from 8AM to 7PM each day!
Sunday, April 2nd
8AM- Set up of faire and final preparations
12PM- Safety and Health discussion for those preforming
2PM- Opening of the faire- announcements by the King and Queen.
Sunday, April 9th- Feast for those who participated in the faire in the Town Hall at 7PM.
