⚠️ Long post ⚠️

Few weeks from now, our life as a family is about to change, we are grateful and nervous at the same time for our new bundle of joy, our baby #2.

JM and I decided to spend time with our first born, we ask him unsa iyang gusto kaonon or buhaton, we are preparing him for a big changes na he will become a brother na and explain to him na hapit na muabot iyang manghud and we are really thankful that he already understand, he even include his little bro to his prayer, kiss my tummy and said goodnight every time mag sleep na mi ❤

I'd like to take this chance to tell everyone, our family, friends, relatives, churchmate to please refrain from teasing Chaps nga "dili na siya palangga or love namo kay naa na syay manghud" you don't know how will affect the child so please lang gyud. If you happen to visit/see us please greet Chaps first or ask him how does it feel to have a baby brother. Help us to make him understand that he is the kuya and his responsible to protect his brother.

Again we are not a perfect parents nor a perfect family, but we are trying our best to have a positive environment for our children.

Expectation vs Reality 🤣

Most days raising a toddler will really test your patience. Some days you're exhuasted and you can't even remember what it was like to get a full night's sleep, but it's all worth it. This season of life won't last forever and as corny as it sounds, someday mingawon ra gihapon ka ani nga feeling. ✨

You have been the rock I needed in this wild parenting adventure. Seeing our son grow more and more attached to you every day is the greatest gift. For that, I am grateful 💖

I can't exactly explain how my life changed because of you, but you broke the silence with your uncontrollable and contagious giggles. You brought warmth into every day, and filled every morning with a scent of life beyond compare. My dearest Juneau, you came to change my understanding of happiness. I love you with all my heart ❤️

I am forever thankful for Juneau's existence ☺ As parents, we can't control our child's happiness but we are responsible for our own. We are not a perfect family nor perfect parents to our child, we also have lapses and hidden battles that the world doesn't need to know, but one thing for sure we have the same goal, to give what's the best for Chaps. The child absorb everything from us, our moods matter basically happy parents are likely to have happy kid. If parents have good relationship, the child's happiness often naturally follows.

One of the greatest truths I've learned in life is that those who trust the Lord move forward.

It's not only about minimizing past hurts, losses or letdowns, but it's also about not allowing the past to keep us stuck in place where we stop growing and miss out on stepping into the purpose, destiny and calling that God has for our life. There's so much more ahead, we can't afford to stop or give up now.

We've traveled many times with hubs with family and friends, but this was the first time where it was just the three of us with no agenda other than enjoying each other and the sunshine 😊

I'm not really into upgrading phones, cause for me it's unnecessary, but I was touched by the thought that he always prioritized me and our family. I know he needed it more than me because of his work and all, but still huhu gi una gyapon ko niya 🥺

Don't worry about what people think of you or about the way they try to make you feel. If people want to see you as a good person, they will. If people want to see you as a bad person, absolutely nothing you do will stop them. Ironically, the more you try to show them your good intentions, the more reason you give them to knock you down. Keep your head up high and be confident in what you do. Be confident in your intentions and keep your eyes ahead instead of wasting your time on those who want to drag you back. Because you can't change people's views, you have to believe that true change for yourself comes from within you, not from anyone else.
