the problem I tend to have with disco elysium video essays is that the video essayist is simply not insane enough about it, I have at least four tumblr mutuals who could make the same point but better and with quotes from 5 different routes, an untranslated estonian novel, a book by hegel and a manifesto by some obscure russian anarchist no one has ever heard of

Forgive me if this point has already been made but I think the reason Harry likes to jog is because it keeps his head clean from thoughts. When we need to click on a thought bubble Harry needs to stop moving, even backtrack his steps to process what he thought about.

Assuming Harry's thoughts manifested this way all his life, it's no wonder he became a gym teacher. It's the moment of peace he gets that keeps him running everywhere.

Him literally running away from his problems (his overactive mind) fits him well!

imagine being kim and u show up at this case in a really neglected shitty district (bc you don't want anyone else to do it) and u meet a partner who's one of the nicest people you've worked with in a while but also kind of a mess so you spend a few days developing a sudden yet very strong alliance/friendship with him and then he gets SHOT and u have to relive your worst experience of watching ur old partner die in front of you and you're left alone desperately tending to his wounds with your only thoughts and a concussion for company for like 2 days but then right after he gets up you solve the case at the last possible place you expected and you also discover a giant bug. and then he invites you to work with him.
