Correcting someone saying some rather hurtful things is not harrassment, it is far from it. While it may open discourse, this is the internet and a level of discourse over anything is to be expected. People will be people.

Their post was unfair, and you had every right to correct them. While you don't speak for everyone, i do feel as if you said some things a few people (maybe even many) felt needed to be said.

It sounds more like OP doesn't like that they've been told that what they're saying is actually harmful, and instead of admitting that they said some hurtful things, decided to double down and make matters worse by claiming harrassment

I was not harassing them. I posted some information about what they posted. I did NOT use AI for anything. They were ACTUALLY real posts and articles. I can’t believe they reported my post. So if my account gets taken down you’ll all know why and who did it.

Gonna make a longer post on this later, but people need to stop labeling themselves with clinically invalid terms just to explain their behavior or have a less stigmatized label. No, you do not have PDA. You do not have RSD. You don't have C-PTSD.

This isn't dismissing trauma - you do have trauma, it's just not C-PTSD. C-PTSD is currently indistinguishable from BPD and psychologists are not allowed to diagnose you with C-PTSD...because it simply does not exist in the DSM. Research suggests C-PTSD is a presentation of BPD.

And please stop with the PDA. Refusing to do something unless someone asks you to do it in a certain way, lest they trigger your "fight or flight response," is not a real clinical entity. Autistic people tend to have cognitive rigidity and repetitive behaviors that can make switching to another task extremely difficult. PDA is not a validated construct and it's incredibly similar to (if not the same as) ODD.

You just want the label of PDA instead of ODD, or C-PTSD instead of BPD, when neither of the aforementioned conditions are based in scientific fact. It's like calling yourself a highly sensitive person instead of autistic.

This is absolutely stupid. According to Trump:

Autism isn’t rising or anything. It’s called better testing, better understanding, and better education/sources. And oh my god, the Pennsylvania Dutch (whatever that is), has autistic people too I’m willing to bet.

What does autism have to do with anything political?

1999 spoilers simply because i don't want to ruin any conversations

I'll admit i'm not the biggest fan of arthur, but, the conversations on the KIM system really show his character outside of the quest. We have to keep in mind that the Hex are going through some pretty serious shit.

Arthur has some really chill conversations, including ones about cooking! Even making the drifter food that followed the drifters weird way of eating their food. (The ration cubes), and even though it tasted terrible to the drifter, he still tried to be accomodating to the drifters tastes

From the conversations i've had with him he's just a dude doing his best, and trying to be at least polite and nice to this stranger (the drifter being the stranger).

Sometimes some characters just aren't your thing, and thats fine!

We saw him not trying to convince quincy to stay, even telling him a place so Quincy hopefully survives the fallout.

honestly, i think they did a bad job with arthur. he sucks really bad. he's just a total asshole pretty much unprompted and he doesnt have any of the charm quincy has that makes quincy being an asshole work. like, he's a dick to the drifter, he's a dick to the other member of the hex, he's generally just an unpleasant person- i dont really get it. i dont like lettie very much either but she at least has a personality

mmm I don't think so 🤔 if only by how many fans he has, what you described is either not digging too deep, or it's the appeal for a lot of people! Him and Quincy and Lettie all feel distinct while coming from a similiar ground and I definitely don't need Aoi level of accessible affection to enjoy a character, I like the hard-to-crack eggs :D I just enjoy hating on Arthur, it's funny to me. From the chat prompts I've seen it's 50/50, half of it is amazing and the other half is either disinteresting or cringe 😂 but not gonna yuck someone's yum cause i saw both of those halves be liked by someone I think they all have entertaining writing, some are just your thing and some aren't, and while there's obvious community favorites (Eleanor), none of the protos so far stand as obviously bad in the community, some are jsut less approachable/more niche

I'm just gonna point out that wallys speech during the zariman scene is kind of... less scary when i think about it.

He seems moreso angry, i know he's holding a deal over our heads, and hes still a not so great guy, but he seems so. Angry and upset to me? And talks of how "those before you. They did not ask" and "they butchered me. My flesh fed their greed" he just seems so mad that he's being taken advatnage of.

i think he's angry as hell at a lot of things and probably people. Doesn't make him right though. Idk, i obviously could be wrong, but i'm not the only one who's been thinking this, or feeling this about wally. ||

I'm starting to lean slightly towards the operators deal being release for wally. Because to me, it seems like wally is just, suffering?

Wally is a massive incomprehensible thing, being forced into a shell of mankind, and his only experiences that are true and defining have been pain, and anger, and being taken advantage of. plus we repaired the heart that keeps wallys power moving through the material world. (heart of deimos quest), so i think, without intending to, have just perpetuated his suffering.

I don't think wally is evil. He's not good either, he's overall a bad guy, but i think he's just. Hurting, and angry at everything and probably everyone.

He is a cosmic force, forced into the shell of mankind, and i think, all wally has ever known is suffering, anger and sadness, without any kindness or warmth.

And obviously, he's uncanny etc because he isn't human, sure he can mimic it, but theres *always* something off and not quite right about it. He's quite literally, the building blocks of the universe. " (the fiestzariman classroom scene, the new war quest)

Not to mention, wally doesn't know what love and compassion is, i don't think he understands it, which is *why* it's his weakness imo. He's either afraid of those things because he has never experienced it, or he's scared he could be hurt even more by it, so he lashed out.

I despise the feeling of sponges myself, i typically use a plastic brush with the sponge on the end, it saves touching the sponge unless absolutely necessary.

Gloves are also a good way to minimise the feeling!

Hi, hope you’re doing well. I have autism and adhd and I was wondering if you knew if it’s possible to get over a big sensory issue? Or just desensitise it slightly?

For example; if I had a sensory issue with sponges of any kind so I couldn’t stand to be even a couple feet near them, is there anything I can do to minimise the effect it has on me so it isn’t such a big issue?

I have a few sensory issues that are inescapable in my day to day life and they really effect me negatively, I’m just desperate to know if you’re aware of any way I can not be so effected?

I really hope this makes sense, I’m sorry if it doesn’t. I’m quite frazzled right now.

I get what you mean about the sponges. The only think I can think of is wear a type gloves to minimize the feeling a bit.
