06/06: early april drawing of leana I did with the most short haircut of haircuts I've ever done for my female ocs

Also started watching chiikawa for fun.. gave chau family a fun little designs as cute little things.

Leana yap under the cut because why the fuck not.

Short trivia about her life that I wanted to get out of the system.

— Been on 3 planets during her lifetime (Born and raised on Vineta, lived and studied in Heimat and currently residing in Leng)

— Youngest child of Chau family, she is 10 years younger than her older brother Raul and 12 years younger than her elder brother Marcquise.

— Her birthday is 23rd of May, making her Gemini. She's 183 cm tall, almost reaching Aras by height.

— She finished both school and pedagogical university, but ultimately abandoned her career as a teacher in favor of being chaffeur and then truck driver. Had she not done such drastic changes, she could have been a music teacher.

— Desicion to become chauffeur came after it was revealed to her siblings that she used elder brother's car to race and work as a taxi. But the reason how they found out was because she crashed the said car. The desicion to become truck driver also was done after she crashed her workplace's car while working as a chauffeur, but thankfully it wasn't her fault that time.

— Had made a lot of friends during university years, yet has zero luck with maintaining them. Also no luck on romantic prospects either. Issues, issues! She also has small tattoos that hide her scars she had gotten from her (now) exes.

— Moving to Leng after hearing news regarding her older brother Raul was the quickest desicion she had ever made, shaking up literally any connections she had at the moment. And so after moving to work at Leng Terminal, she began to stalk schedule of trucks that are headed towards S-23 Sierpinski, begging people to let her send a package with extra rations and clothes. There is about 40% chance these packages reach Raul.

— Since Leng Terminal's policy isn't as strict as reeducation facilities, the lack of frequent house inspection had given opportunity for Leana to keep a lot of cassettes, posters and even alcohol in her house. Sometimes she sells them as a side income to purchase other things. Has a rather tense relationship with administration because of that.

Long story short neither of them knew why they had a meeting but everything quickly resorted to interrogation for a good measure and 2 hours Kepler later got mental breakdown, breaking Raul's jaw💔

And then Kepler got immediate decommission(incinerated) but damage was done and now there is remains of KAER's bioresonance driving whole replika staff insane 🫶

To picture their dynamic, imagine an alien whose feelings for you are either based on finding you funny or enjoying driving you insane. Both moods switch spontaneously.

Could care less if it was brought up before, nothing is new under this sun anyway.

Judging by the clues within the game readables and datamined files, it's exactly not wrong to state that Vineta was screwed over thousand times due to war. Which begs the question, just how many people died to ocean alone?

Because floods are not exactly a thing that could be controlled in a large scale, mind you, it's also something that one can't escape that easily. Not to mention the moon was shattered which definitely messed with the tides hundredfold.

So it's plausible to think that largest kill count goes to ocean, not Empire nor Nation.

Which brings a thought that, well, maybe, a lot of veterans (or heck, even Vinetan civilians in general) have a fear of tides and ocean due to floods and related natural cataclysms. Some could have it worse, unable to look at pools or even regular water filled-baths, in fear of sinking under the water.

Perhaps some soldiers were even relocated to different planets after the war to alleviate the PTSD symptoms related to sea.
