I’m so tired, I want to read, I want to be held, I want to not have to ask for either of those things. I just want it to appear as I wish for it . I wonder if I could procure a service for a handsome man to brush his fingers through my hair. To blow him before I go to sleep. A chiseled dark haired man, whose mane is long enough to tickle my back as I maul over tawdry fiction. I think that’s a fair exchange. Men are generally lazy at eating me out anyway.

I want the appearance of romance, the aroma of its sweetness but I don’t want to taste it. I don’t care to know it’s inherent bitterness. I’m perfectly comforted in only surface level exchanges. An amouse bouche, for a meal I’m not yet hungry enough for. I adore my loneliness. I love my lack of reciprocation for anyone who I allow to enter my private world. But I very much need physical touch.
