If I made a show for Shen I'd make all his flashbacks pre exile to be animated in shadow puppets like the beginning of Kung Fu Panda 2 as if he remembers his memories in that way. But they'd sometimes mix with reality and puppets at hard times to express complicated emotions

Немножко предыстории. В бородатые времена существовало ныне почившее приложение по "Кунг-фу Панде" для iPad, в котором содержалось много дополнительных материалов и контента в том числе по второму фильму. И в одном из файлов был вот этот концепт арт (фото 1) со следующей подписью (фото 2):
