Traits of a HUMSS students Humanities and Social Sciences is not an easy track. It needs more time and attention. In choosing Humss you should have the unlimited confidence in facing the crowd. Good Day and Hello Readers! I as the author given by the name of Arlene Abedencio a 16yrs old Senior High School Student whose taking the Academic Strand HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES of Tomas Cabili National High School located at Tomas Cabili, Iligan City. I write this blog to share to everyone about my choosen track and some information about WHAT TRAITS A HUMSS STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE. Basic, Not Challenging, and easy, words I usually heard from the persons who think that taking Humanities and Social Sciences is just a piece of cake. They said it because they don't know how does it feel to be one. They don't know the challenges and all the trials that a Humss students had encounter just to pass all the core and major subjects of a Humss Students. In taking Humanities and Social Sciences it will not just measure your speaking skills it also includes a deep understanding. If you wanted to be a Humss Student someday you should be the person who Understood not the person who needs to be understood. Humss is also about understanding because if you don't understand people and if you cant be patient with everything then you are not In for Humanity. A Humss Student should be Open-minded all the time. You have to be open about sensitive topics like sexuality. You should look at the realities of the world. Being a Humss student is seeing the world as it is and not how we want it to be. In studying Humanities you should face the reality and live with it. You step out from your comfort zones and think what we can do to solve any kind of problems. Because how can you understand the world if you cant accept things? If you are up for humanity you should be up for the world. You study the world not by the being of the world but by accepting the world. The sooner you accept the reality of life the more you'll understand. Humanities and Social Sciences will always be a deep one. It will always be sensitive, controversial and there will always be hard problems and being dense will not make you worty it. And lastly a Humss student should be passionate. A passion for public speaking, writing, acting and thinking is what should we got to be a humss student. There is no job in Humss that is not related to public service. We should know how to serve and socialize people or even a simple interaction with the people surronds you. If you are not open to the things that the world had developed then it is hard for you to accept the harsh truth. The traits of Humanities and Social Sciences are just traits that Humss Students should have. But if you don't have these traits you can still prove yourself to become a Humss Student in the other way around. But that doesn't mean you will be a real Humss student. If you don't have any of these traits then you should practice yourself to have any of these because if not What is your purpose of going to Humss Classes were in fact in the first place you are not belong in there. You should study hard to be one , Practice hard to be one. You're afraid? You dont have the confidence talking in front of a lot of people? You have Glossophobia? Well here's some tips.Before your speech you should practice in front of a mirror and be confident talking in yourself thinking yourself is the people who are watchinh amd listening to you. Then During the speech you should relax and believe in yourself. Smile and think that you are performing alone and you are just performing for yourself. Make yourself comfortable and show them what you've got. Whatever strand you'll choose there is still no simple and easy strand. If want to enjoy your life to tje fullest you just dont stick your head down to the books and be grade concious or slack all the way you want, If you want to enjoy your life you explore the wonders the world has to offer. Embrace the life that god had given you to live for. Because still at the end of the day we just don't study to get good grades or to make our parents proud or to achieve the dreams that we wish back when we are still kiddo. We study to learn and discover new things. We study to have a better future. Studying Humss will always be more than calculations and numbers. It is about exploring different worlds and discovering new one. Be passionate about Humss and nothing will ever be as simple as dull but as wonderful and amazing as it can be. Take Humss Seriously. It is a great honor and privilege to study Humss. And once you see the world the way liberal people see it life will never be the same. We dont just study Humss. We study Humss. We study it because we want to. We dont study Humss jusy for fun. We study Humss because we love to. Being a Humss student is always looking on the reality what the world had become now and what it would become in the near future. I as the author who dream to be one is now already one of the humss student that hardly do all the things that make me become a real Humss Student. I maybe dont have all of these traits but I work hard to have those traits and to become a real Humss Student. Thank You for reading and God Bless.
