I’m so glad I found your blog! I would love to know what you think Jo and Link’s main similarities AND biggest differences are. I used to think it was that he was such a calm optimist while Jo is such a scrappy, feisty realist, but Link got a lot more pessimistic and snarky over the past few seasons :)! I’m guessing an obvious similarity is that they both want a secure, stable and committed family life. They’re also both fighters who are super stubborn, but who on the show isn’t?! Anyway, I can’t wait to read your answers—-it will help with a jolink fic since the world needs more of those :)

Link is still the amazing human being he's always been and his optimism is there although, sometimes, he has this dark dark streak; and fully justified, if you ask me.

I do think jolink compliment each other in such a beautiful way: she's the cutest messy one and he's her calm in a storm. But it is also the other way around; They are there for each other and it is so balanced. It's not a one way thing. It's simply endgame material.

One thing that I truly love is that they have known each other for 20 years. They KNOW one another! They lost touch for a bit but they're back in full force now. He knows her. She knows him. They have such a solid foundation and this brings me comfort. They just make the most sense out of all the couples I've seen so far on Grey's. Of course we haven't seen the drama the writers are going to throw their way yet, but I am confident they will get out stronger 💪🏻 and more in love than ever.
