I hate it when I can't properly capture the beauty of a nail polish! Chanel Bel-Argus is a gorgeous mettalic blue with purple duo-chrome tendencies. I'm not gonna spoil this baby by describing it with my insufficient words. I'm very lucky to have gotten this from my best friend... this is limited edition so go get it now!!

I wasn't really planning on getting Dior Nymplea but when I saw it in store, I fell in love! I have a hard time pulling off pastels on may nails but this totally works on me. I'm head over heels for Nymphea. I love that it looks light blue in some lighting, mint green in some. Both colors that I usually avoid. Aaack - I just might get a back-up bottle!

I've been looking for a vibrant blue nail polish and Butler Please totally fit the bill! I'm not a big Essie fan but I had to have this. I love how bold the blue is.

My friends gave me Chanel Malice last November but I didn't realize that I never posted about it. It's a gorgeous wine red nail polish with noticeable shimmer. Not really something I would wear for regular days but I would definitely pull this out for more formal occassions -- like a Christmas dinner. That really isn't surprising because this is actually part of Chanel's 2012 Christmas collection.

I've been waiting months to get Suspicious onto my nails... My bestfriend has been keeping it safe and sound. At first I wasn't as excited to try it but now I absolutely love it! Depending on the light, it changes from raspberry, to fuscia, to red. Definitely a must-have. It's like having three colors in one bottle.

I was lukewarm about this polish so it really wasn't on my must buy list. But as I'm wont to do, right when it's about to get sold out I decide I want one. Luckily, my friend was still able to grab a bottle for me in Singapore.

And I promptly fell in love with Sky Line. It's such a pretty color. Couldn't stop looking at my nails when I was wearing it. I loved it so much I thought of getting a back up... still thinking about getting one actually.

Vertigo does not appear black in person. It's just so very difficult to capture its color in photos... sigh. And that's probably my only complaint with it.

It's actually a dark gray/plum/brown polish with secret red shimmer. Now the red shimmer is more prominent in the bottle and virtually non-existent on the nails -- and some people are disappointed with that. Not me. I like that the shimmer appears randomly, that it would catch me off-guard. And it's not a straight shimmer, it's like they're floating or suspended.

The consistency is amazing. Non-streaky and self-leveling. I'm in love!

A year ago I was obsessing over Georgina Wilson's nail polish in one of the BENCH billboards. I never found out what it was, but it looked like a mix of beige and lilac. I wanted it so bad. Funny how things turn out -- Chanel Frenzy is the exact color I saw in the billboard. Now I don't know if the actual polish they used would've been what I expected but that doesn't matter anymore, does it? I'm just super happy Frenzy is perfect.

In some skin tones, Frenzy pulls more beige. Thank God the lilac tinge shows on me. I'm not sure if you can see it in the photo, but trust me -- it's the perfect mix of beige and lilac.

Now I know why everybody's just so gaga over DL Happy Birthday -- it's so happy!!! Love love love. so far I've worn it on top of a base color and as you can see on the photo, straight on my nails -- both looked equally amazing. I actually need to consciously stop myself from using this ALL THE TIME. But I might not have the strength, so seriously looking at getting a back-up. Happy Birthday is very difficult to acquire so while we have some available, now's the chance to grab an extra bottle!

Full disclosure - I mostly picked up Chanel Delight because it's limited edition. And Chanel regret is painful, so I decided I'd have to get it. And I guess because it's the same finish as Graphite and Gold Fingers and they'd be a great trio so I might as well complete them. But really, it's not up to the usual level of Chanel-awesomeness. I was hoping it would have more of the multi-colored sparkle Graphite has, but unfortunately it looks straight-up sandy gold. I don't know, maybe under the sun?

This is one difficult color to capture. I don't think any picture can ever truly show the right shade. Dior Lucky sometimes looks coral, sometimes electric pink, a few times it looks a touch red. It would even look orange. Totally crazy. Lucky has earned a spot in my top ten.

buh-bye Chanel Dragon.

Chanel Dragon reminded me of all the reasons why I've always stayed away from red nails.

An unexpected stop at my favorite nail salon yesterday allowed me to finally try Chanel Dragon. I hated it! Up until this morning I've been convincing myself that it looks nice, just different from Chanel Fire which I've come to love - it didn't work. I took it off after a day and switched to another nail polish. I felt old wearing it. Plus it looked too dark, almost maroon.

So many people love Dragon because it's a classic red. And I guess that "classic" translated to old on me.

Officially striking this polish off my wishlist.

Turquoise polishes are quite tricky for me. Most of the time they make my skin appear sallow. But I took a risk with Zoya Wednesday - it was just too pretty to pass up. Thank God my risk paid off. It totally works on me!

Am still not used to seeing bright red nail polish on me but am definitely warming up to it. I just can't shake the feeling that Fire is a tad too orange for my liking. But it's such a vibrant, vivid red that kinda works for summer. I'd still like to give Chanel Dragon a try tho, just to see if it's what I'm looking for.
