rain world is really funny to me because I’ve been told the game is an intensely hard, brutally difficult survival simulator that takes place in a real ecosystem. The game’s story is about the pain of creation and the Buddhistic cycles of life, death, and rebirth along with how trauma can tie others physically into this world preventing people from moving on in meaningful ways, manifesting death as both a keeper of life but also a gateway to salvation.
