[good evening! how the moon screams tonight...]

[my name is Dov. you pronounce it like “dove”, as in, “the silly goose dove into the lake.”]

[this space is a den of sorts for me to live and bark and howl about things that make my tail wag!]

[there aren’t very many things I know about myself yet. here are a few of those things.]

[I am not a human or an animal - I am a beast. I don’t always take the same form, but my preferred form is akin to a werewolf. two legs, claws, big sharp teeth and drool and the like.]

[sometimes I like to call myself a dog because dogs are silly and I’m silly but I’m not really a dog, I’m a beast.]

[I am a fully-grown male and in human terms I am “gay” and “queer" when it comes to the way I love. I have always been grateful to be a male but I also think transgender/nonbinary people and beasts and creatures are so wonderful and if that or any kind of “queerness” upsets you, you may want to get out of my den, because I would guess that having your beautiful bones added to my collection would upset you more.]

[my home is somewhere in a deep dark forest filled with pine trees and crystal blue lakes and jagged shadowy mountains and wet dirt and carcasses and skulls and bones and treasures to find and moths and misty wind and deep caves and deer and bison and squirrels for me to snack on and wolves and foxes and hawks to play with]

[it is a wonderful and beautiful thing to be a beast, but it is also sometimes a very sad and lonely thing. humans are afraid of me and disgusted by me, and I don’t know if there are any other beasts like me out there. I would love love love to learn how to feels to “make friends”. come say hi and send asks and messages and bark and give a big ol sniff I definitely do bite but very gently if I like you and also I give lots of hugs]
