Soulmates (Theory & explanation)

So I have been wanting to do this for a while and I’m doing it now because why not. I’m gonna be explaining soulmates, or what I think soulmates are to ya’ll. This is from my own research and beliefs, not from the internet it’s from what I have observed about people. 

THIS A VERY LONG POST!

So I was raised in a pretty christian family though I’m not christian and my family dosen’t practice at all. All that to say that i started theorizing on soulmates when I was really young like 9 or 10 and now I’m 18 and the theories stuck with me.

So first the backstory:

At the very begining there was one god and many souls. But as time went on the god noticed that certain souls would merge to become a bigger and brighter unified soul. It happened more and more until every soul had been paired up. At this point the god was very jealous because he wanted to be with someone too. But there was only one of him so he decided instead to separate all the souls and place them in different bodiesaround the world. What he didn’t expect though, was for the souls to begin longing for each other  and finding each other to become whole again. But they weren’t all romantic connections oh no, sometimes it was something else; friendship and kinship (family bonds).

The types of soulbonds:

There are three types of soul pairings each soul needs at least one to feel complet or at least comfortable with their life. I’ll explain each one in the order below. 

1. Kinship: SoulFamilies/SoulParents.

2. Friendship: SoulSiblings

3. Romantic: SoulMates

1 & 2 are similar in some ways because they both refer to family and platonic love, also in both you can have more than one.

 Minutes earlier

 If there was one thing Yixing loved doing was making Yifan, her slytherin boyfriend a blushing mess. He always acted so high and mighty in front of others never had she thought he could be anything but. Right now she was watching him do his potions homework, lazily stirring her tea. Yifan was so diligeant, Yixing was hardworking as any hufflepuff but her memory made it hard for her to even remember she had homework. It was just them two in a corner of the library and she smirked as she got an idea. She silently took out her slightly bent wand and pointed it at her boyfriend’s book with the intention of transforming it into a rabbit. Yifan would never admit it but he absolutly adore bunnies. She murmured the spell but when she cast it her bent wand decided to cast it at poor Yifan. 

 Back to the present 

 -I’m sorry? 

 Yifan tapped his paw on the table in anger. His bunny cheeks puffing up and Yixing let out a squeal. Picking her rabbit boyfriend up she inspected him carefully. A bright dimpled smile lit up her face.

 -Yifan, you are the cutest bunny I have ever seen. 

 Yifan huffed as he wiggled out of her hands and hopped away from her giving her a small glare. She giggled and changed him back easily before laughing out loud. Yifan was now sitting on the table in human form. The slytherin looked so dazed it was hilarious. Yifan snapped out of it and sat back down gritting his teeth and he glared into his note book a heavy blush on his face. Yes Yifan was mad at her but Yixing had now discovered a new trick she decided she loved very much. How to make your Slytherin boyfriend go from cool to cute in seconds.

EXO HP AU: CHAPTER 2

Alright! Hey it’s Val so there isn’t much in this chapter because it’s an introduction chapter. I’m introducing all the boys here so it’s kinda jumbled. Also I’m kinda making this story Sehun centered...lol...details. Happy reading!

If Sehun had felt a pang of nostalgia while walking through HU he almost drowned in it when he stepped in the colourful gigantic room that was HU’s Great hall, the room was very similar to the great hall he knew back at HS. This one though was a lot bigger and very colourful. The tables true to Professor Vindel’s words were brightly coloured and students wore robes similar to what he was used too. Sehun looked up at the ceiling, it was blue and clear of any clouds making it look like they were outside besides him Sehun could hear Tao’s silent awed sounds. Sehun turned to the tall muggleborn with a smile before sighing. As put his hands on Tao and Jongin’s shoulder.

-Well! You two puffles should hurry to your table let’s meet up again later.

The two boys nodded and Tao hugged Sehun before shyly approaching the red table on the complete right of the room. Sehun took a deep breath and approached the red table in the right center. Sehun was Gryffindor of course, just like his whole family was. It was a given, but the 18 year old preferred hanging out with Hufflepuffs or even Ravenclaws, not always up for energetic Gryffindor  meetings. Of course Slytherin’s were out of question, all but one, a friend of his, Jongdae, who was a little older than him. Sehun sighed as he got closer to the noisy table and finally sitting down by a tall man. Sehun barely looked at him as he studied the great hall once more. It wasn’t until he heard his named that he turned his attention towards the male. Sehun almost flung himself at the one beside him.

-Yifan!

Yifan had been the first person to even talk to Sehun on the first day of HS. The male had been a 5th year at the time and hadn’t stayed long but to Sehun Yifan was one of his best friends. The older Gryffindor clumsy and awkward a bit like Sehun himself was calmer than most Gryffindors which made him a lovely company. Yifan smiled his gummy smile at the younger side hugging him as he beckoned two others that Sehun recognized instantly: Chanyeol and Baekhyun. It seems the two had achieved to come to this school after all. Chanyeol sat down in front of Sehun, Baekhyun sitting beside him with a blinding smile.

-Sehun! Hey you finally got here huh?” Chanyeol asked with a smile.

-Yeah, I see you made it too elf.” Sehun replied sassily. Chanyeol pouted  tried to hide his pointy ears under the hat he was wearing.

-I’m only half-elf…” He grumbled.

Baekhyun laughed at his boyfriend; yes you read that correctly, Baekhyun and Chanyeol, from Sehun’s point of view, had always been together, though at the time they were probably only friends. It wasn’t until their 5th year and Sehun’s 3rd that, he suspected, they were couple. They were never seen alone, it was less likely to see Baekhyun without Chanyeol, and vice-versa, than to see a unicorn. Sehun chuckled to as he cuddled his brother figure’s side before letting go as the woman dressed in red from earlier stepped up to the podium, of a dragon this time, not an owl. She cleared her throat before pointing her wand at it and her voice boomed loudly throughout the great hall.

-Hello students! I am headmistress Calinara.

Sehun whipped his head around as he distinctively heard Tao let out a squeak of fright. Sehun snorted as he caught Tao’s eyes before actually listening to what the headmistresses’ speech.

-It is a pleasure to welcome you all back from summer vacation and to also welcome our new first years students into our halls. As of this year floor 10 and up are prohibited to students from years 1 to 4 so please refrain from going up. If you do, you will face grave consequences. That’s all for today. Older students I am counting on you to guide your new comrades throughout the castle and explain the rules to them as well. Class begins in three days and supper is at 7h. Dismissed.

Sehun looked between the three older Gryffindors who smiled down at him. This was going to be fun.

In the Hufflepuff corner Tao and Jongin were also delighted. They had found Junmyeon and Yixing waiting for them with smiles. The two 4th years had been the older brother figures of the both of them and Jongin as well as Tao were really glad they were there.

On the complete left kidding around with the Ravenclaws behind him, Jongdae, Sehun’s Slytherin friend, was almost sitting at the Ravenclaws table at this point. The Ravenclaws he was joking around with were 5th years, Minseok and Luhan; while a young second year named Kyungsoo watched them with a bemused expression a book in hand.

 Oh yes this would be fun indeed.

Six Feet Tall Beauty (EXO HP AU: FanXing Fluff oneshot)

So @holyxingsdick gave me this prompt: Popular quidditch slytherin  captain Yixing meeting embarrassingly cute hufflepuff Kris in the library. 

Other pairings will be mentioned but the main paring is FanXing (LayRis in this case?) This is going to be fun happy reading y’all.

Yixing sighed as Luhan pulled him through the whole castle hastily. He raised an eyebrow at the light brown haired Slytherin seeker. 

-Where are you taking me Luhan. Practice is going to start soon…” The younger Slytherin drawled.

Luhan shot him a smirk and finally stopped in front of the library doors. The half-veela pointed at it.

-I have something to show you and I’m sure you’ll love it!” He giggled and opened the library doors with a charm. 

Quickly pulled Yixing in he looked around before almost jumping in glee as he spotted the person he was searching for. Yixing look at said person it was a hufflepuff Kim Minseok or Xiumin as he called himself. The chubby cheeked male was the hufflepuff quidditch team captain and keeper. Yixing sighed Luhan had tricked him into coming to watch his crush… again. That’s when he realized Xiumin wasn’t alone. With him was the most beautiful man Yixing had ever seen. The slytherin captain gulped audibly as the other smiled form something Xiumin said. God, he was beautiful. Yixing turned to Luhan quickly.

-Who’s That.” He uttered almost breathlessly.

Luhan shrugged “That’s Minseok’s best friend Yifan. Why? He caught your eye?” The older male smirked.

Yixing cleared his throat and answered “No. Come on we’re late for practice.”

Practice felt unusually long as Yixing re-explained the way to hit a bludger to Chanyeol for the 50th time. Chanyeol of course wasn’t listening at all throwing air kisses to his Gryffindor boyfriend Baekhyun. Yixing cursed and sighed.

-Alright practice is over! Everyone go back!

Yixing went back to the slytherin homeroom and after a long shower he found himself in front of the library once more. He sighed and entered trying to convince himself that he was going in there to study for the potions exam,even though he was the top of class, and not to spy on the handsome hufflepuff that Kris. Yixing directed himself towards the potion book section of the library he had to at least make his excuse look validable. He reached for a book the damn thing just out of his reach and just his luck he had totally forgot his wand in his room. Just as he was about to give up for another less interesting book an arm grabbed the book he was trying to reach and handed it to Yixing.

-Here you go.” Yifan said a light blush on his face as he smiled at the Slytherin in front of him.

Yixing stared at the tall Hufflepuff in front of him. Yixing had expected him to be tall, of course he did he had towered over Xiumin earlier when they were both sitting together but he hadn’t expected That tall! Kris fidgeted under Yixing’s stare.

-Um… Are you going to take it?” the giant asked as he gestured to the book he was holding.

Yixing snapped out of whatever trance he was in and nodded quickly, taking the book.

-Uh. Yeah thanks… I’m uh… Yixing.” He said stammering a little before schooling his features.

-I-I’m Yifan… and I know who you are… You’re very popular you know?” Yifan pointed at the table full of young girls from every house staring at them. Yixing turned to look at them and the girls swooned. Yixing frowned he didn’t want any of them not even to play and almost screamed when Yifan started to leave.

-Wait. Yifan!” He grabbed the blonde’s sleeve and pulled him towards an unused part of the library. Yixing looked around to make sure they hadn’t been followed and sighed turning back to a bewildered looking Yifan. He took a deep breath and stared at the Hufflepuff who gulped loudly.

-Say Yifan…” He took a step closer to the tall male. “Do you have a significant other?”

Yifan shook his head not looking at Yixing as he dropped his head and looked at the ground.

“Really?” Yixing said his voice low as he stopped right in front of Yifan and lifted the others head to make Yifan look at him. “Well then lucky me… I quite like you Yi-Fan” He said punctuating each syllable.

-R-really?” Yifan said in a whisper that had Yixing stop and stare at the male with wide eyes. There was hope in the others big brown eyes and Yixing finally dropped the mean act allowing himself to finally blush as he realised how close they were standing to one another.

Yixing cleared his throat slightly. ”I mean I only just saw this morning but it was like lightning struck me. If you’ll have me I’d really like to have you.”

-Yes. I would like that. You might have noticed me only this morning but I’ve always been noticing you… I can’t believe this is real…” He trailed off and looked at Yixing.

Yixing drew in a breath as he looked up at the taller male who was as red as a tomato. Yifan bent down slightly and that was all Yixing needed to finally lean up and kiss the Hufflepuff with tenderness he didn’t know he had.

So I decided to write a story for this AU because I love it too much. SO! Let’s get this started. The character focus. will change depending on my mood and the chapter, also the characters will probably bit a bit OOC at times. Also here are the blood statuses:

Sehun never thought he would ever see a place bigger than hogwarts itself but guess he was wrong. Hogwarts UNIVERSITY of Charms and Sorcery  was about twice the size of the old castle and looked almost brand new. The gigantic castle was surrounded by tall hedges and trees that hid it almost perfectly. Sehun took a deep breath as he took his first step towards it. He only wanted to eat and then go to sleep. The train ride had wore him out and he wanted nothing more than a good rest. As he approached the entrance of the giganic castle Sehun spotted two very famillar faces in the crowd and, suddenly feeling joyous ran up to them.

-Jongin! Tao! 

The two in question raised their heads and both their faces broke out in a delighted smile at the sight of their best friend. Sehun stopped right in front of them and studied them silently. Over the summer Jongin had become tan ad had grown to be as tall as Sehun himself. Tao on the other hand towered over them his feline like eyes smaller and more masculine than when they had first met. Jongin was about to open his mouth to ask Sehun something when he was interrupted by an old woman sporting a red and gold cloak.

-You three will be late for dinner.” She said her voice soft but her words stern.

The three 18 year olds nodded and rushed to follow the large group of lost looking first years, which is exactly what the three of them were. Sehun looked around feeling a certain nostalgia as the portraits waved and smiled at them, here it was just like HS (Hogwarts School except they were older and wiser. As they neared what seemed like the grand hall Sehun began to wonder if any of his older friends were here too. Unlike HS, HU (hogwarts university) was not mandatory. Sehun was only here because his parents told huim to, same with Jongin as for Tao since he was a muggleborn the feline like male was here because of his curiosity. They finally arrived to the great hall doors where a man dressed in yellow robes was waiting for them. The man, no older than maybe 30, grinned at the new students a gentle chuckle in his voice as he introduced himself.

-Hello! I’m professor Vindel and I’m head of the hufflepuff house here as well as your Alchemy instructor. Pleased to meet you. Now let me tell you how things are going to go. There are four tables in the grand hall, one green, one blue, one yellow and one red. I’m sure you all know what those colours mean right?

Sehun nodded and so did most of the first years. Professor Vindel continued.

-Each of you was sorted in a house at HS. Just go to the table that has your house’s colour, simple as that. Have a good supper and good luck!

Proffessor Vindel swished his wand at the door before diseaparating. The big doors fianlly opened on the beautifull room that was HU’s great hall. There’s no tunring back now, Sehun thought as he and his two friends took their first step towards it.

I read a translation of one of Yixing’s fan/staff accounts in one of the Baidu bars about him. Apparently, Yixing and Sehun are actually closer than Luhan and Sehun themselves but SM didn’t promote this then because of Hunhan. No offense to Hunhan shippers tho. (Please don’t attack me, I’m not saying that Lu and Sehun aren’t close)

But I got excited over this. Like, I’ve had this suspicion before but I didn’t really believe it myself. Whether it’s true or not, Idk. But this may be why a lot of Cfans actually ship Sexing/Hunlay.   ٩(●ö●)۶

EXO HP AU : The Ravenclaws

Here are the EXO members that I think fit in ravenclaw the best (Don’t agree? Tell me who, where and why :3)

D.O (Do KyungSoo): KyungSoo is also someone that screams ravenclaw to me. I wouldn’t see him in slytherin because even though he wants to do great things both as an actor and singer ambition is not a dominant trait in him neither is cunning. A lot of people put him in slytherin because of his looks, just like Tao. But KyungSoo is totally a Ravenclaw, there are scarier ravenclaw. If he was in ravenclaw you could be sure instead of a punch i would be one of the many book he books et probably carry that you would receive as punishement for disturbing him.

XIUMIN (Kim MinSeok): So for MinSeok I’m going with the stereotype and I’m sorry. But like MinSeok is intelligent and it needs to be known. He thinks rationally as well as outside the box he studies a lot but is also seen goofing around. A lot. He could very well be a Gryffindor but he isn’t brash MinSeok thinks before he acts and doesn’t show off very often. It’s a prominant point of his overall personality. He is talented but prefers to do thinjgs other than be extra and try to be center the center of attention. When he is he dosen’t know what to do the poor sweetheart.

LUHAN (Lu Han): Now he was a case apart Luhan, could be both a a Gryffindor because of him trying to manly all the time and failing. Him being derpy. but for me Luhan is a ravenclaw. He is just like MinSeok very intelligent, he’s creative and studied at one of the most prestigious universities of Korea. But like Minseok, Luhan isn’t extremily noticeable. And he goofs off only with those he is closest with. He is a little akward to sometimes and spontaneous things tend to surprise him, he’s quite organized and that’s not really screaming Gryffindor at me. Also he alwasy triess for the manly man thing he dosen’t quit he tried real hard guys.
