RE4 remake verdicts:
Ada literally has one of the worst voice actors I've ever heard in a AAA game, sounds like a literal random person recording in their living room
punisher still best gun, still not close
merchant quests thing very lame
shooting gallery worse than original
all bosses worse than original

I haven't messed with mercenaries or anything yet, this is just the like "just killed the last boss" kind of summary. I think the game suffered for a lot of its "modernization," but the fact that RE4 is basically a perfect game made with perfect ideas and perfect pacing and perfect structure and etc etc etc is pretty difficult to eclipse.
