aang faced ozai on the anniversary of his people’s genocide and proved that the values and ways of the air nomads still deserved be in, and were necessary to save, a world ravaged by war, and if that doesn’t give you chills i don’t know what will

it’s so funny how iroh is always just like “oh don’t look at me I am but a stupid old man” and if anyone is like “um... no...... you’re the Dragon of the West” he’s like “what? that was , like, ages ago. six years ago, even. I’m stupid now. my brains turned to mush!” and then they just believe him and completely let their guard down. I love it

does anyone else adore the fact that while the hargreeves may blow up at each other over a billion different things, they still support each other's love lives no matter what?
like, five and a mannequin? okay, definitely not the weirdest thing we've encountered. klaus fell in love with a soldier from the 1960s? cool, lemme just tie him up tighter so he can finally stay sober. allison and luther? meh, we'll tease them a lot but otherwise it's fine. diego and lila? sure she tried to kill us, but who hasn't at this point? vanya likes sissy? alright then, everybody, buckle in, we're going to that farm.
and it's just so heartwarming because it just shows that at the end of the day, no matter what happens, they're people--no, family who will always have each other's back, and i love them so much more for that.

does anybody else get the same vibes from leonard peabody/harold jenkins and syndrome from the incredibles? i mean, both wanted to be special, both wanted to be part of an organization that fights crime, both were spurned and turned to the dark side as a result, and finally, both ended up being killed by the very same thing they created to defeat the heroes?

Rewatching Umbrella Academy and when Five comes back he makes a peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich, which were the type of sandwiches that Vanya left out for Five after he disappeared and I thought that was a nice detail.

Son, I found your fedora. At first I thought you were a brony and I was going to be very disappointed. But then I found your giant stash of checkered vans and hawaiian shirts. Ska punk forever, son. Ska punk forever.

me when astrology doesnt match my personality: this is liberal hippie trash and honestly, I am the one who decides what kind of person I am, not some con artist trying to make a quick buck
me when astrology matches my personality: this is honestly so scary, i can literally feel the planets aligning and I am one with the earth, moon and the stars *grabs handful of dirt for no reason*

*hits the blunt* yugioh was propaganda because the season they opened the anime with in the US started by making you pity yugi for losing his exodia cards in like, the second episode i think it was. basically this fuck has a huge unfair advantage over everyone else in the world and is planning to use it to win a cash tournament. but you’re supposed to feel bad for him when he loses that advantage and ends up on an even playing field because the cards are “his property”. exodia is capital and yugi moto is the bourgeoisie
