I'm gonna be taking a week long hiatus starting tomorrow. ( July 21st through July 28th! ) I wanted to get some more things out before then, but I'm not gonna be able to unfortunately. I'll be on discord if people want to plot & chat over there, but my existence on dash will be scarce and I'll be mobile bound regardless. there's SOME chance I return on the 26th, but that's up in the air.

Liri gasps the moment this boy seems to pry himself from his father, or that the man seems to simply let go. Not wanting to actually be within range of him, least the rude boy cause some sort of bodily harm - the blonde girl fumbles back from the door and scurries as quickly and nimbly as she can down the hallway to the left. It's further from the party itself, a forgotten and dark section.
Likely to put off guests from venturing this way, the girl muses. She stops in the middle of the hallway, standing behind a rather large suit of armor that's prettier than it seems functional.
Liridona is momentarily caught off guard by it, blinking as she realizes this is the strange thing she saw winking at her earlier. Who has a suit of armor in a little hallway like this? Beside it, various house shields line the wall. Decorating it from ceiling to the halfway point nearing the floor. What kind of decoration was this? Was it meant as honoring other houses?
Then, all at once, she realizes she's meant to be hiding and dips behind the suit of armor, though she isn't as hidden as she might like. The ruffles of her dress stick out drastically, shoes too, and there's no hiding the way light from the party's main hall catches her hair. Still, even if he should find her, she will stomp on his foot and run back to her father. That'll teach him.
In his fidgiting, his father lets go of his shoulder, seemingly tired of holding him still. That, and, the story he was telling required both hands to gesture with. The men all bellow out loud laughs, something about war and weapons, and Lorin could care less. His focus is now this girl. This rather rude girl.
As she look at him and sticks her own tongue out at him, his legs carry him quickly towards her. Not running, no, he did not want to alert his father. But he did want to catch up to her, maybe blow a raspberry in her face, and then flee down another hallway, far from his father's stern gaze and firm grip.
He reaches the doorway she had been standing in, looking for her.

€γ
€γ
€γ
€γ
€β a collection of subtle romance prompts. some suggestive. γ
€γ
€γ
€γ
€γ
€please change pronouns and verbiage as needed.
β dialogue based prompts.
i wish you would see yourself the way i do.
i'm tired of waiting for the day you realize i'm in love with you.
i saw this and it made me think of you.
my days feel better when you're part of them.
i noticed everything about you.
can i kiss you?
if you keep that up, i might just fall in love with you.
i thought i'd never feel this way again β¦ and then you came around.
would you like to stay the night?
do you want to sleep with me?
friends don't kiss me the way you did and then expect me to forget.
i just want to sit here, eat cake, and forget the world outside of us exists.
i think my hand was made to fit in yours.
don't forget me.
β action based prompts.
the sender tucks wild hairs behind the receiver's ear mid-conversation, rendering the receiver speechless momentarily.
the receiver reaches for the sender's hand after the sender placed a blanket around the receiver's sleepy form, wanting to pull the sender to join the receiver.
the sender wraps their arms around the receiver's shoulders/arms from behind, no words spoken. they simply wanted a peaceful moment with the other.
the receiver has playfully stolen an article of the sender's clothing and the sender tries to steal it back, Β leaving room for playful and consensual forced proximity.
the sender runs through rain trying to catch up to the receiver after a disagreement that has kept them apart for a couple of days.
the sender stands in front of the receiver's door with a care package (full of candies, a teddy bear, and more) after the receiver had a terrible blind date.

β¨β πππ πππππππ π: ππππ ππππ πππππππ β¨
also including some lines from it's expansion's-- Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine. feel free to switch around pronouns, diction, and the like to make them more suitable for your muse.
β You donβt know how it is. To see someone you love die. Because of you, for you.Β β
β Uh-huh. And I'll take your tongue too if you don't shut up. β
β Easy on the insults. I could add to your misfortune. β
β You always were an unruly child. I adored that about you. Now fly.β
β Let's pretend I didn't hear that. Now get out of here, before I get tired of playing make-believe. β
β There's nothing behind me. I'm a witcher. I'd have heard it. Just like I can hear your heart. Which is pounding...like a liar's. β
β See, can't run from the truth...not even on horseback. β
β Fascinating story. Any chance you're nearing the end? β
β Hatred and prejudice will never be eradicated. And witch hunts will never be about witches. To have a scapegoat- that's the key. β
β If I wish to change anything, I cannot do so hunting monsters round forgotten villages. β
β I refuse to sit idle while you risk your lives for me. β
β If you're going to speak of courage, at least address me directly. β
β Those months at Kaer Morhen β they passed so quickly. β
β If he thinks he can buy me, he is sorely mistaken. β
β See what I've got on my back? Wolves fear it. Kings do too. β
β You'll not try to stop me? Take me to the Blue Mountains by force? β
β Traveled half the world to find you, but I never intended to force anything on you. β
β She teleports in, not even a "nice to see you". Jumps right into, uh - "We've a curse to lift. There's this to do, and that -" Then she went to the guest room, to rearrange thingsβ¦ threw the bed off the balcony. β
β Heard about the bed... Really prefer to sleep on the floor? Wouldn't recommend it. That stone can get awfully chilly. β
β Would you prefer I take it out some other way? I don't want to seem like a vindictive shrew, but that very bed is where you just happened to fuck a dear friend of mine. β
β Damn, you're ugly. β
β I'm light as a feather, but even a troll can't hold me for long. β
β We had our chance, butβ¦ let it go. β
β Well mate, at least you tried. A sorceress turned me down once. Want to hear the story? β
β Don't have the right to order her around. β
β I merely know when to indulge my pride, and when I must swallow it.β
β Nothing wrong with having a drink in good company. β
β You humans are soβ¦ impractical. β
β What can you know about saving the world, silly? You're but a witcher. β
β This is my story, not yours. You must let me finish telling it. β
β Done my fair share of fighting. Wouldnβt carry a sword if I didnβt know how to use it. β
β No joy in having the boundless respect and trust of the local peasantry? β
β There are times when a woman should simply not explain her decision. That goes doubly for sorceresses. β
β They say it's the game of kings. That chess teaches one to think strategically. What a load of rubbish! Both sides have identical pieces, the rules stay invariably the same. How does this mirror real life? β
β But you do know we're not a pack of wolves you can just drive away from her with your sword? β
β Do you believe humanoids have a monopoly on destroying worlds? β
β What now, you piece of filth? β
β You've gone through a great deal of trouble to reach meβ¦ So I must believe you've put equal effort into preparing this lie. β
β Would you tell me to sod off? Go ahead. But then I'll tell you the same. And what'll that make us? Two helpless, empty-handed sods. β
β Dandelion breaking into a vaultβ¦ I'd sooner expect him to choose a life of celibacy. β
β Life might be black and white to you witchers, but to us common folk it's all just shades of grey. β
β There are two types of men. Those who see opportunity and take advantage, and those that forge the opportunities themselves. I've always seen you as an example of the latter. β
β Don't blame yourself. No witcher's ever died in his own bed. β
β Kings die, realms fall, but magic endures. β
β Where'd you complete your training? School of the snail? β
β Guess I could have been someone worseβ¦ Just a shame I had no choice. β
β You don't need mutations to strip men of their humanity. I've seen plenty ff examples. β
β You clearly know there are many other worlds apart from the one where we now stand. They're linked by passages, hidden gateways that afford travel from one world to another. β
β I run into dilemmas all the time. Situations where it's hard to judge, hard to know what's right, make a decision. This is not one of them. β
β Time eats away at memories, distorts them. Sometimes we only remember the goodβ¦ sometimes only the bad. β
β Keep the gods out of it. Swear on your heads. Which I will take if you break your vow. β
β Why men throw their lives away attacking an armed witcherβ¦ I'll never know. Something about my face? β
β A great danger lies in wait. If you wish, I can tell you how you might evade it. Unless you'd prefer to ask for something else? β
β I'm no cheat. I give folk what they want, nothing more. That they oft desire unworthy things- that is entirely the fault of their rotten natures. β
β I vastly prefer the company of a simple mug of mandrake brew to that of the duchess' vile sister. β
β A man must display some madness from time to time - helps him feel alive. β
β Tell meβ¦ You always been such a cynical bastard? β
β Find something else to laugh at. I dunno, catch some frogs and shove straws up their assesβ¦? β
β Long ago, to isolate themselves from a world of beasts, humans began building cities. But since beasts prowl within stone walls as well as they do outside them, this did not allay human fears. The truth is walls guarantee no one's safety. The place where you lock yourself in and lock all else out -- that's not your home. Your home is sometimes a place you travel long and far to find. β
β Took me a long time to find you. Wasn't an easy road to travel. I'm angry and tired. Had to kill a lot of people along the way. Some of them tried to cheat me, some tried to lie. I didn't like it one bit. I feel like one more lie'd be the last bitter drop in a chalice full of sorrow. And thenβ¦then I'd do something I would later regret. Now you know why you can't lie to me? β
β You play gwent, don't you? β
β Know when a legend transforms into prophecy? When it gains believers. β
β You must have thought you had me pegged. Before bothering to hear my side. Everyone does that. β
β I do not wish to suffer any longerβ¦ but I fear there will be cold and darkness, untilβ¦ there's nothing at all. β
β You must be careful what you wish for lest your wish be granted. For there are consequences. β
β All who have learned my true name are now either dead or have met an even worse fate. β
β If you acknowledge any godsβ¦ start praying, now. β
β Agree to meet a vampire in a cemetery. How much more cliche can you get? β

thisΒ roomΒ looksΒ beautifulΒ whenΒ theΒ sunΒ comesΒ throughΒ theΒ window.
She hadnβt been expecting to be welcomed so easily into the Inquisition halls, as both one of them and as aide to the Inquisitor herself, though she supposed that the latter option was more... subjective. Perhaps it was some trick or misaligned judgement that the woman would think better of eventually, however as it was - Liridona was pleased to admit that this was welcoming enough, if not familiar, to work at a time where the world needed it. The light in the room, as Lanaya had voiced, was beautiful. The half-elfβs lips pulled, warming over as her brows softened. Β
βIt makes for a lovely study, I should think.β She says softly. Liri can see it now. The beautiful desk that could sit in the room, parallel to the door so anyone entering would be fully able to see the stacks of papers that might adorn it, the quill and ink. The curtains one could decorate the interior of the window with, and the rows of bookshelves that could line one of the halls. There was even nook enough that a bed might fit into one side, partly obscured by the wall from the door. Now, however, it sat empty in itβs entirety. Liridona paces up to the window, overlooking some of Skyhold with a discerning eye.
After a moment or two, cloudless eyes drift to the other woman instead. A Dalish elf, no less, and... Why did looking at her so hard making the woman sad? Liridona shakes her head, resting a hand on the window's sill. βAnd how are you feeling, Inquisitor? Surely you did not bring me here toβ¦ show me an empty room.β

She absolutely is not supposed to be here, but her parents are busy chatting with some unremarkable lord she doesnβt remember the name of. Heβd introduced himself to her mother and father, blatantly ignoring the girl who wasnβt meant to be present at the house party, but sheβd demanded and her father had folded like a piece of paper, even while her mother scolded her at every turn.
Not that Liri cared. There were far more interesting things to do here, really. Like wander about and stick her nose right where the lords thought it didnβt belong. The weather and the decorations here in Ferelden were far different than that of Orlais, first of all, and sheβd seen something a little strange while walking next to her father earlier, fading into the background of every conversation that made it clear kids weren't welcome. Or girls. She looks around and wanders most of the first floor, checking the walls and each hallway, until sheβd poked her head into yet another room.
Only, instead of the funny looking something sheβd thought sheβd find, since she had been so sure it'd be in this room, this time; Liri instead finds another lord, talking with two others, and a boy. He notices her right away, it seems, and she shuffles further behind the door β just enough to only reveal half of her face, which is cocked messily to the side to let strings of curly blonde show.
Liridona is outright appalled when he sticks his tongue out, glaring at her. What did she do to get glared at? Is it because sheβs a girl in a place like this? Were all boys going to be snobby like the lords too? Frowning, Liri furrows her own brows and glares right back, huffing a little too loud before sticking her tongue out at him, in retaliation, of course.
What a rude boy, she deems. If he wasnβt standing so close to whom she assumes is his father, she might have gone right up to him and kicked him! In the shin! Or stomped on his stupid foot! He'd most definitely deserve it!
@hrpyhare liked for a starter!
His father's firm hand rests on his shoulder, steadying and keeping Lorin in place. Lorin's gaze, uninterested in the two men that speak near him, wanders. They look around the long parlor hall around them, trying to find something to grab his attention. Portraits, taxidemry, a fireplace, a girl, plush chairs-
A girl?
He looks back, noting a blonde girl, close in age to himself, peeking around a doorframe at him.
Lorin, not one to be stared at without putting up a good stare fight himself, gazes back at her, brows slowly lowering over his eyes. The boy tries to free himself from his father's grip, but he cannot escape. The man has him steadfast, likely trying to keep him from grabbing things he shouldn't, or trying to pet the large taxidermy bear he had noted earlier.
In one final act of defiance in his stare stand off, Lorin sticks out his tongue at her.

βDeath can't have me. Not yetβ¦β
βCalm yourself. There is plenty of me to go around.β
βRealmspace is vast. Countless worlds to be mapped, kingdoms to be conquered.β
βI have missed this. The adventure. The danger. The kicking of butts!
βLet me guess - you need something.β
βSuch attention.. I never realised I was so popular.β
βLet's cook with fire, baby.β
βDo you intend to vocalise every thought?. Or just the most obvious ones?β
βWherever we go, ye gods let there be something green.οΏ½οΏ½οΏ½
βCareful, or I will take your toy away from you.β
βWatch your elders and learn.β
βPerhaps try attacking the enemy?β
βSo much we don't know, lingering in the furthest reaches of existence.β
βAll the world's my stage and you're just a player in it.β
βThe shadows are my friend.β
βYes, yes, have your fun. It isn't you they're trying to kill.β
βFeet planted firmly on FaerΓ»n, please.β
βAdmirable stamina, yet terrible priorities.β
βWell you certainly have the 'omnipresent' part down, don't you?β
βI am ready, whatever may come.β
βMy faith protects me.β
βNeed a throat slitting?β
βDeath greets us all - but not today.β
βYou need my expertise?β
βCan you feel death's cold grip?β
βSo many stars, so many mysteries yet to be discovered.β
βDeath comes quietly.β
βAnd I thought we were going to be friends.β
βLocked tight, but there must be some way to open it.β
βNo, you can't die. Get up, damn you!
βYou had my attention, now you have my fury.β
βFrom silence to suffering.β
βSo many worlds out there. You'd need a thousand lifetimes to see them all - more.β
βI hope this is important. For your sake.β
βLet them gaze deep into their own abyss, and wonder just what it is they are trying to achieve.β
βI ought to just burn this whole thing down.β
βWe have slightly more pressing matters to attend to.β
βYou have still have time to surrender.β
βEvery kicked buttock, another step on the path.β
βWeave save me. I can't take much moreβ¦
βYou are right to fear me.β
βLet me look around. Might be something that'll help me crack this thing.β
βIncredible, to think how many worlds exist beyond this tiny speck within a speck I call home.β
βI really wish I could cast a Hold spell on you.β
βI can fawn over my face later.β
βReady for another round?β
βKeep your blade close.β
βI can't unlock it from here, but there must be a switch or a button somewhereβ¦β
βNo, that's not moving. There must be a way to open it somewhere.β
βBattle favours the fearless.β
βSleep with one eye open, evil. Maybe both.β
βGotta be something around here to unlock this thing.β
βWhy do beautiful people taste better?. It hardly seems fair on the ugly - they have such wonderful personalities.β
βOh, calm down. I'm happy to see you too.β
βJust go for the Magic Missile and fire away. Never fails.β
βStill standing, no matter what you heard.β
βEnough waiting. I crave blood.β
βHang on - I won't allow this. You aren't dead, go it?β
βGODS, it's HOT in here!β
βNo rest for the wicked, I see.β
βBetter to hide than fight, sometimes.β
βWould that I could hide from you, too.β
βAre you feeling lonely, perhaps?β
βThere is no right or wrong, only truth.β
βBattle is afoot - you can poke me once we are safe.β
βWhat good all this ethereal eladrin blood if I can still get pimples?β
βI should've been a drow. They have such stylish armour.β
βI am armed! Armoured! And entirely sick of your foolishness.β
βLet's have some fun.β
βWar is an old woman's game.β
βNo rest, be you wicked or wise.β
βI'm getting too old for this nonsense.β
βI would poke you back, but I fear that's what you want.β
βYou have my attention - now do something with it.β
βYou are insistent, are you not?β
βDo what must be done.β
βYour suffering will be spectacular.β
βLest I sit down for a rest and not rise again.β
βBetter to look evil in the eye. Even if it be very small.β
βI'm not built to crouch.β
βI think I could go another round.β
βAlways the same old song.β
βIs perfection too much to ask?β
βEyes on victory, tummy on dinner.β
βSo many places to be.. and I chose Baldur's Gate.β
βI'm not opening that. Not from here, at any rate.β
βWhat is the point, if not victory?β
βWon't last much longer like this.β
βLet's hope the locals are friendly.β
βLet us show them how it's done.β
βWeapons high. Standards higher.β
βMust everyone be so exhausting?β
βWhat I would not give for a chunk of fresh honeycombβ¦β
βWhich way to the nearest library?β
βNow this is my happy place.β
βWho shall I silence?β
βStop, or die.β
βWear your scars proudly.β
